00:17, 1 January 2025☆Fiyero's POV☆I laid there, waiting for Dorothy and Elphaba to come rescue me. I was worried Elphaba and the babies. Why would Elphaba risk her life to come save me? I was trapped, so I couldn't protect Elphaba. I just hoped Dorothy doesn't turn on Elphaba and kill her and the babies.
"Elphaba?" I asked. "Where are you?" I heard someone enter the room outside the gem and pick up my prison cell.
"OZ!" Someone shouted. I was suddenly released and standing in front of Dorothy.
"Dorothy!" I beamed. "Where's Elphaba?!"
"She's in one of these ornaments." Dorothy replied. "We have to find her." We began looking around. I looked over to see a small, green witches hat. I picked up the hat.
"OZ!" I yelled as loud as I could. The ornament turned to Elphaba.
"Yero!" Elphaba beamed. I hugged my wife tightly and gave her a lot of kisses.
"Why would you risk your life for me?" I asked.
"Because I love you." Elphaba stated. "Plus, someone has to make sure Dorothy made it across the Deadly Desert alive." I kissed the top of Elphaba's head. I felt the twins kicking.
"Come on," I stated. "Let's get the hell out of here." Elphaba summoned her broom and hopped on. Dorothy and I also jumped on. I held onto Elphaba as tightly as I could. Elphaba began flying as fast as she could.
"Can't this thing go any faster?!" Dorothy called out.
"We have five passengers and a chicken!" Elphaba called out. "I can only go so fast!" Elphaba pointed towards the exit and went as fast as she could. I suddenly felt something from behind grab us.
"Oh no you don't!" The Nome King shouted. "Those twins are not escaping!" Elphaba turned around and looked at the Nome King. Elphaba began chanting something. The chicken began flying.
"Penny!" Dorothy called out.
"Relax!" Elphaba called out. "I have a plan!" Penny flew over and landed on the Nome King. Penny laid an egg and flew back. The Nome King began choking on the egg, letting the broom go. Dorothy grabbed Penny and we quickly flew out. I held onto Elphaba as tightly as I could. Once we got out, Elphaba landed on the ground, catching her breath. I laid her down and began running her back. I turned to Dorothy.
"Can you take that broom and get us a carriage that can cross the desert?" I asked.
"Can I ride it?" Dorothy asked.
"Elphaba shouldn't be flying so much in her condition." I replied. "Give it a try." Dorothy managed to get the broom to fly for her and she took off. I laid down next to my wife.
"I'm sorry." Elphaba whispered. "I just couldn't lose you to the Nome King." I hugged Elphaba and held her close.
"Just don't do it again." I whispered. "I love you, Fae."
"I love you too, Yero." Elphaba stated. I kissed Elphaba and cuddled up to her.
"Are you okay now?" I asked. Elphaba nodded. We just laid there, waiting on Dorothy.
☆Elphaba's POV☆Dorothy arrived. Fiyero helped me onto the carriage and we made out way back to Oz. Dorothy kept looking at Fiyero and I.
"I still can't believe you two ended up together." Dorothy stated. "And were dating as we went to go kill her."
"Trust me," Fiyero stated. "The reason why she knew you were coming was because I wrote to her. Chistery tore me apart and found the letter."
"Fiyero warned me upon your arrival." I stated. "He came up with a plan and it worked."
"And good thing it did." Fiyero stated, resting his head on my bump. I began playing with Fiyero's hair. Fiyero smothered my bump in kisses.
"Easy there, Yero." I stated.
"So," Dorothy asked. "Was she pregnant when I threw the water at her?"
"Yes," I replied. "We just didn't know it yet."
"I am so sorry." Dorothy stated. "If I have known, I wouldn't have thrown the water on you."
"Like I said," I stated. "We didn't know. Plus, I casted a waterproof spell on myself. Basically, Fiyero had a plan to get me out of Oz not realizing we had passengers coming with us."
"I would never think you two were married." Dorothy stated.
"We weren't three months ago." Fiyero stated. "However, take this as a lesson Dorothy. Love is the strongest magic there ever is. Elphaba saved my life using magic, yes. However, she did it out of love." Fiyero kissed my hand.
"Yero?" I asked. "Can we convince Glinda to let us go home? Back to the cottage?"
"I don't know, Fae." Fiyero stated. "Glinda wants us to be in the Emerald City."
"Doesn't she want us to be happy?" I asked.
"Of course she does." Fiyero stated. "Trust me. I just want us to live in peace with you, the twins, and any other kids we have. I just don't think Glinda would allow it because she doesn't want to lose us." I sighed and placed my hand on my bump. Fiyero put his hand on top of mine.
"If she doesn't want to lose us," I stated. "We are safer outside of Oz. She knows she can come and visit anytime she wants." Fiyero kissed my hand.
"We'll have a talk with Glinda when we get to the castle." Fiyero stated. "I promise. We can't just up and leave her, especially since I'm in the Gale Force."
"I'm sorry to bother you," Dorothy stated. "But did you say 'Gale Force?'"
"Yeah," Fiyero replied. "I did. Why?"
"That's a coincidence." Dorothy stated.
"Dorothy," I stated. "Think of your arrival as destiny. You were meant to come here and save Oz somehow."
"It was meant to be from you." Dorothy stated. "And I failed miserably."
"No," I stated. "I just found out the Wizard was a fraud and basically turning Oz into whatever land he came from."
"Really?" Dorothy asked.
"Yeah." I replied. "Animals used to be able to talk and have actual professions."
"Really?" Dorothy asked.
"Yes." I replied. "I tried to make a stand, but the Wizard turned me into a villain." We arrived back to Oz to be greeted by a parade.
