19:40, 30 December 2024☆Elphaba's POV☆Dorothy barged into the castle with me, the dog, and the chicken trailing behind her.
"Look!" Dorothy shouted at Glinda. "The Witch is still alive! I need a bucket of water!"
"Dorothy," Glinda stated. "I can explain -"
"She claimed you two were friends!" Dorothy shouted. Glinda looked over at me.
"Can you blame her for not believing me?" I questioned.
"Look," Glinda stated. "We can worry about this later. Fiyero is in trouble and the twins -"
"You have twins?!" Dorothy shouted.
"Yes," I replied. "I am eight months along. These two babies are going to be two of Oz's biggest heroes, despite their mother being the greatest villain in Oz."
"The Nome King wants the babies," Glinda stated. "Thinking Elphaba would just happily hand them over despite them being her babies. Believe it or not, Elphaba and Scarecrow would rather die than let those babies get hurt."
"I know you think I'm a monster." I stated. "However, The Scarecrow is your friend. Would you please help me save him for him?" Toto trotted over and nudged me. I gestured to the dog, letting Dorothy know he was on my side.
"Elphaba can be extremely stubborn," Glinda stated. "And she definitely has anger issues -"
"Really?" I questioned.
"I'm getting there." Glinda stated.
"Hurry up." I grumbled. Glinda shifted her focus onto Dorothy.
"However," Glinda stated. "Elphaba actually has a heart. She's loyal, she's smart, and she's got a heart of gold of you let her open up. I only brought you here to help her." Dorothy looked at me, then at Glinda.
"Fine," Dorothy stated. "I'll go with - Wait, should she be going in her condition?"
"She makes a point." I stated. "The Wizard took my broom. Plus, am I really Oz's biggest enemy without -"
"Your hat?" Glinda asked. She ran to her room and brought me my broom and my hat. I took my hat and placed it onto my head. I then hopped onto my broom. I looked at the farm girl and raised my eyebrow at her.
"Are you coming?" I asked. Dorothy jumped onto the broom. Chistery came running out.
"What about Toto and Penny?" Dorothy asked.
"Leave the dog." I stated. "Bring the chicken. Trust me, she'll be useful. Now, hold onto me, okay?" Dorothy hesitantly held onto me. I made the broom lift off the ground and began flying.
"Oh my!" Dorothy shouted. "We're going fast! Like a bird!"
"Hold still!" I called out. I began flying over the Deadly Desert.
"Where are we going?!" Dorothy shouted.
"We're going to the Nome King's land!" I called out. "Just hold on tight kid! It's going to be a bumpy ride!" I felt Dorothy hold onto my broom.
Don't worry you two. I thought. We will get daddy out of the Nome King's kingdom. He's hopefully okay. I began to get nauseous and went to land on the edge of the Nome Kingdom. I began throwing up in a bush.
"Are you okay, Elphaba?" Dorothy asked. I took a deep breath.
"Sorry," I stated. "Let's go."
"Maybe we should rest." Dorothy stated. I nodded. I laid down and fell asleep.
☆Fiyero's POV☆I was in a prison cell, hoping Glinda was sending help my way. The prison cell was massive, but it was all attached to a giant emerald. I began to worry about Elphaba and the babies.
"What did I do?" I asked. "Why am I here?"
"I demand the twins!" A voice thundered. I yelped.
"Who are you?!" I called out.
"I am the Nome King." The voice stated. "I want the son and daughter of the witch."
"Oh no," I stated. "You aren’t touching my babies. They're innocent."
"Mme. Morrible is destined to rule Oz," The Nome King stated. "And the twins are getting in the way."
"No," I stated. "My wife and I will never give up our babies. Never in a million years." The Nome King laughed.
"I doubt it." The Nome King stated. "Your wife is coming up to trade the twins for your freedom."
"No," I stated. "No. Elphaba wouldn't. She couldn't give the babies for me. Fae would die before she'd let the babies get hurt."
"Oh," The Nome stated. "I doubt she'd let anything happen to you." I sighed in frustration and began banging on the gem.
"LET ME OUT!" I yelled. "PLEASE! LET ME OUT! PLEASE! LEAVE MY FAMILY BE!" I kept banging on the gem. The Nome King laughed more.
"You are foolish, Scarecrow." The Nome stated. "Very foolish Scarecrow.... I love ornaments. You have become my favourite piece of the collection. Perhaps I can show you what is going on..." I found myself seeing the outside world, but it felt like I was still trapped. It was Elphaba and Dorothy. They seemed to have teamed up.
"Dorothy?" I asked. "Elphaba? Why did you two team up?"
"Elphaba," Dorothy stated. "Wake up. We have to go save the Scarecrow. Come on." Elphaba woke up and yawned.
"Alright," Elphaba stated. "Let's go save my husband." Dorothy helped Elphaba up. The chicken with Dorothy clucked. Elphaba summoned her broom and sat on it. Dorothy picked up the chicken and began walking. Elphaba's broom hovered next to Dorothy.
"How did you meet Fiyero anyways?" Dorothy asked.
"We met at school," Elphaba replied. "Shiz University."
"How?" Dorothy asked.
"Well," Elphaba stated. "Back when he was a prince, he had a driver. His driver almost ran me over. I thought Fiyero was a shallow and self-absorbed rich guy."
"What happened after that?" Dorothy asked.
"Well," Elphaba stated. "I would sometimes catch him looking at me, despite him dating Glinda. I saw through his act though."
"When did you two fall in love?" Dorothy asked.
"In the forest near our cottage." Elphaba stated. "We released a cub. That was when I fell for him. We were separated for a while though."
"When you reunited," Dorothy asked. "Did you two finally express your love?"
"Yes." Elphaba replied. "We did. The strongest magic is love. Don't you forget it."
I teared up seeing Elphaba.
I'll get out of here. I thought. I'm coming Elphaba. I'm coming Liir. I'm coming Orla.
