☆Elphaba's POV☆The next morning, I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. I got up and walked over to the kitchen to see Fiyero cooking.

"Good morning my beautiful fiancée!" Fiyero sang.

"So that wasn't a wonderful dream I had?" I asked. Fiyero shook his head.

"We really are engaged." Fiyero stated. He set the plate in front of me. It looked.... Okay. I took a bite of the eggs before spitting it out. It was too salty.

"Yero," I stated. "I'm sorry love. You can't cook as a scarecrow. Your eggs taste like they came from the ocean." Fiyero looked over at me.

"I'm so sorry." Fiyero stated. "I never cooked a day in my life, but since you're doing the hard work for the next nine months, I figured I could do the cooking while I'm here." I looked at my fiancé and smiled.

"You didn't have to." I stated. "I can still cook."

"Yes," Fiyero stated. "But you're the mother of my baby. You deserve to be treated like a queen for once in your life."

"I know you want to," I stated. "And I appreciate it. However, maybe get Chistery to taste test before you serve the food you make."

"Alright." Fiyero stated. "However, you're going to be treated like a queen every time I'm here. I don't want suspicions rising if I'm gone for a year. I'll come home as often as I can. I promise." Fiyero kissed my hand.

"So," I asked. "Has Glinda suspected anything?" Fiyero shook his head.

"Well," Fiyero stated. "She hasn't realized I'm Fiyero.... Did you ask her not to clear your name?"

"Yes," I replied. "I didn't want Oz to turn on her. I had delt with worse all my life. The people love her. I don't think she can handle so much hate." Fiyero nodded.

"So," Fiyero asked. "How long did you know about the baby before writing to me?"

"A week." I replied. "Like I said, the doctor wanted to make sure everything is okay before I told you." Fiyero took my hands.

"So," Fiyero asked. "Since I destroyed our breakfast, do you want to go out for breakfast?"

"I know a perfect place," I stated. "I sometimes go there. The people think the green skin is cool." Fiyero nodded.

"Alright," Fiyero stated. "Lead the way."

At the café, called "Greenville Café and Deli," Fiyero and I walked in. We were greeted by Terri, one of the owners.

"Elphaba," Terri asked. "Is this the Fiyero you were talking about?"

"Yes," I replied. "This is my fiancé, Fiyero Tigelaar."

"Have you told him?" Terri asked. I nodded.

"He is so excited to be a dad." I stated.

"I can't help it." Fiyero stated. "That baby is half you and half me. How can I not be excited?" I chuckled.

"I like you two together." Terri stated.

"He's going to be around a long time." I stated. "At least in my heart anyway."

"I work in the Emerald City." Fiyero stated. "However, I try to visit every chance I get."

"I wish there was more like you." I stated. We took our orders, sat down, and began eating.

☆Fiyero's POV☆We got close to the cottage before I saw a mechanical pink bubble with Glinda inside. My stomach dropped.

"Glinda must have followed me here." I stated.

"I'll go around back and hide in the secret hatch." Elphaba stated. "I can still fit inside." Elphaba ran around back as I walked over to the bubble. I knocked on it. Glinda looked over and opened the bubble.

"Hi!" Glinda beamed.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

"No," Glinda stated. "Can I come in?"

"Sure." I replied. Glinda and I made our way inside. Glinda sat at the table while I poured her a cup of tea.

"Something's been bothering me since Elphaba's death." Glinda stated.

"Wait," I asked. "Who's Elphaba?"

"The 'Wicked' Witch." Glinda replied.

"I see." I stated.

"Anyways," Glinda stated. "I thought it was strange that she just melted. Elphaba is just allergic to water. Splashing it on her wouldn't have melted her. The water just burns her skin."

"I see," I stated. "So what do you think happened?"

"I think she faked her death," Glinda stated. "Which is why I came here...."

Oh shit. I thought. We are so busted. Glinda has figured out we're both alive. I have to protect Elphaba.

"I need your help finding her." Glinda stated. "I am positive she hasn't gone too far. Please?"

"Of course," I lied. "Just let me know where to begin the search."

"Great!" Glinda beamed. "Who owns the cottage?!"

"Fiyero Tigelaar." I replied, knowing that I was lying though my teeth.

"He's dead." Glinda stated. "However, I can find out who owns it and go from there. Have you seen any trap doors or secret tunnels?"

"No." I replied. Glinda nodded.

"When will you be back?" Glinda asked.

"A couple weeks." I replied. "My brain just needs rest."

"Okay." Glinda stated. Once Glinda left and took off in her bubble, I opened the hatch and got Elphaba out.

"Are you okay?" I asked. "Are you hurt? What about the baby?"

"Relax Yero," Elphaba stated. "We're okay." I hugged my fiancée and kissed her.

"I'm sorry." I stated. "I just want to make sure you two are safe."

"What are we going to do once the baby starts showing?" Elphaba questioned.

"We'll figure it out." I replied. "Now, go relax. I'm going to clean this place." Chistery gave a screeching sound.

"I got." Chistery stated before going to clean.

"Yes!" Elphaba cheered. "My monkey has begun to talk!" I raised my eyebrow.

"So the flying monkey talks?" I asked.

"Sounds like it." Elphaba stated excitedly. I walked over and sat next to Elphaba.

"Next time I come," I stated. "I'm going to marry you. It may be a few weeks, but -"

"Don't worry," Elphaba stated. "We'll be okay. I'll write to you every day and let you know what's going on with our bundle of joy." I kissed Elphaba and then kissed her bump.

"Daddy's here." I whispered. "Don't worry my little bean." Elphaba kissed my forehead and cuddled up with me before falling asleep. I just sat there and cuddled with the two I love most.
