10 weeks later....☆Fiyero's POV☆I was sitting in my office, trying to get things in order and make life better for the Ozians. Elphaba's monkey, who I found out was named Chistery, flew in with a letter. Elphaba would send me letters through Chistery as it is hard being so far apart.

"Thanks Chistery." I stated, taking the letter. I opened the letter and began to read it.

I smiled at the letter. I wondered what was so important that she needed to see me in person. I pulled out a pen and paper and began writing.

I handed the letter to Chistery and he took off flying. I got back to work and began making plans. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. I put my hat on, covering most of my face.

"Come in." I stated. Glinda walked into my office, a sad look on her face.

"Mr. Scarecrow," Glinda stated. "I was wondering if I can admit something to you. Something that has been eating me up since that farm girl came to Oz."

"Go ahead." I stated. "I just need to do some work before tomorrow evening."

"Where are you going?" Glinda asked. I thought for a moment.

"I'm renting a small cottage." I replied. "About a four hour carriage ride from the Emerald City."

"Just because?" Glinda asked.

"I need a break." I replied.

And to see Elphaba again. I thought.

"Anyways," Glinda stated. "I have a confession.... I am a terrible person."

"How so?" I asked.

"Well," Glinda replied. "For starters, I betrayed my best friend. You see, I know she said that she didn't want me to go and clear her name, but having to watch people celebrate her death and act like everything is fine kills me.... Did I mention my best friend was The Wicked Witch of the West?" I leaned back in my chair, pretending to be shocked.

"Hold on," I asked. "You lied to the people?"

"Yes." Glinda replied. I nodded slowly.

"Well," I stated. "She probably would have been glad you kept your promise. After all, it seems like she's protecting you." Glinda nodded.

"Thank you Scarecrow." Glinda stated before turning around and leaving. I stood up and took a deep breath.

"Maybe I'm brainless," I sang to myself. "Maybe I'm wise. But you've got me seeing through different eyes somehow I've fallen under your spell. And somehow, I'm feeling it's up that I fell." I worked all night before making my way to Elphaba.

At nightfall, I pulled up to the cottage. Elphaba ran out of the house to greet me.

"Elphaba!" I called out as I hopped off the carriage. Elphaba ran, hugged me, and kept kissing my cheeks.

"I missed you so much." Elphaba stated. I kissed my girlfriend.

"I missed you too." I stated. "Now, what's going on that you had to tell me in person?"

"So," Elphaba questioned. "You know how I'm saying that I'm always feeling alone, even with Chistery here?"

"Yeah," I replied. "Why?"

"Well," Elphaba stated. "I'm never going to be alone again..."

"Meaning....?" I questioned.

"Fiyero," Elphaba stated. "I'm pregnant." I was in extreme shock.

"Are you serious?" I asked. "I'm going to be a daddy?" Elphaba nodded. I hugged Elphaba, spung her around, and kissed her stomach.

"We must have made them before I turned you into a scarecrow." Elphaba stated.

"Are you saying this is our only baby?" I asked. I was heart broken

"It might be." Elphaba stated. "I don't know if we can have more babies." I kissed my love and hugged her.

"Well," I stated. "I was going to ask you this on our one year anniversary of reuniting, but I think this is a good time to do this...." I got down on one knee and pulled out a ring.

"Yero.....?" Elphaba questioned.

"Elphaba Thropp," I asked. "Will you marry me?" Elphaba knelt down and kissed me.

"Of course I will." Elphaba stated. Elphaba and I both stood up and kept kissing.

"You're never going to be alone again." I stated. "We are a family now."

"The family I always wanted." Elphaba stated.

"What about your father?" I asked. "Doesn't he count?"

"No," Elphaba stated. "He raised me, but he never loved me. You and Glinda were ever the only two who ever truly loved me." I kissed my fiancée before kissing her stomach.

"My little prince or princess." I stated. "My baby. Daddy loves you so much." Elphaba yawned. I looked up.

"Sorry," Elphaba stated. "It's just that I had a long few days. The doctor wanted to make sure everything was okay before I told you." I stood up, hugged Elphaba, and kissed her forehead.

"It's okay." I stated. "I want our baby to be healthy and happy." Elphaba kissed my nose and smiled. We went inside. Elphaba pulled me into bed and smothered me with kisses.

"I love you so much." Elphaba stated. I kissed her and cuddled up to her.

"I love you more." I stated. Elphaba and I just cuddled and kissed for the rest of the night. I talked about how I was changing Oz and how I wanted to eventually take her home. Elphaba just listened until she fell asleep in my arms where she belonged. I kissed my fiancée's forehead and held her.

Like two pieces of a puzzle. I thought. You and I fit together. I love you Elphaba.
