Chapter 6

I tried to contain myself but---

"Marcel?!" I said gasping as I see a completely different person on the other line.

Marcel looked different and by different I mean completely different. I think he just dried his hair which made his hair fluff up with curls. I mean, WHY DOES HE EVEN GEL IT UP IN THE FIRST PLACE? Plus, he didn't wear any glasses on and he wore a nice white tee. Oh for goodness' sake, he's gorgeous!

After my exaggerated reaction, Marcel just blink and waved at me. (GIF above)

"Hi Tiana," he said as I just looked at him in shock.

Goodness gracious. I'm sure I'm not sleeping or dead like this can't be Marcel I mean Marcel was---

"Uhh, Tiana?" Marcel said cutting me off from my thoughts.

"Huh? Yeah? What?" I said as he gave me a questioning look.

"Is there a problem?" he said as I quickly shook my head.

"N-No," I stuttered; for the first time.

"Hmm, okay," he said and took his papers up. "So, where do you need help with?" he added as I shook my head; shaking my thoughts off then I scanned my papers.

"Uh-Uhm it's this-- oh," I said after dropping my papers.

I quickly reached out to pick them up but in the end, I fell on the floor and immediately picked up my papers like a frantic old clumsy girl. When I was about to stand up, I hit my head on the table which made a loud thud.

"Ow," I whispered to myself, holding my head.

"Is everything alright there??" Marcel said, concerned.

"Yeah, yeah," I said and immediately sat up "Everything's cool, I'm cool, okay, uhm anyway--"

"Tiana?" Marcel said looking at me questioningly. "Are you really okay?"

It took me for about a minute or nearly two to answer him since I was actually staring at him still amazed and shock.

"Yah," I said "I'm perfectly fine. Anyway, I sort of need some help for the second equation.."

He started teaching me about the equations which I quickly got. After I finished my math project, he yawned a bit which signaled me to say goodnight to him.

"Hey, it's late," I said looking at the clock pointing at 12:04midnight. "You should sleep now," I added as he rubbed his eyes and smiled at me.

Gosh that was melting.

"Yeah, you too," he said as he smiled and wave at me goodbye.

"Uh-Uhm, Marcel?" I said as he looked back at me with his sleepy eyes.

I was about to talk about his looks but no, that'd just lengthen the conversation and right now we really needed some sleep, especially him, so I just ended the conversation nicely.

"Thank you," I said as he gave me a warm smile.

"You're welcome," he said, his voice getting a bit raspy.

"Wanna have lunch tomorrow? Meet me at the 3rd column-4th row cafeteria table?" I said still having a hangover after all the maths we did as he looked at me questioningly but nodded anyway.

"I would love to," he said as I smiled at him which he gladly returned.

We then ended the video call and before I could even log out from my account, Marcel messaged me something.

"Goodnight Tiana, Sweetdreams :) x."

Aw man, it's too soon to have a crush, Tiana. No, this is infatuation. Maybe I just found him really attractive so yeah, stop. I actually managed to blush after I replied to him though.

"Goodnight Marcel, Sweetestdreams x."
