Chapter 5

Tiana's POV

"Need any help with that?"

It took me a few minutes to think about what to reply. I kept on thinking about what Alison told me to like fake date him but I don't think my conscience can handle that. Still, I can still ask for help from Marcel right? As friends? Regardless of what Alison said, I then replied to him after a good 7 minutes of thinking.

"Yes please. :( " I replied.

For a moment there I thought he was already sleeping since it was almost 11pm but after like about 2 minutes, my phone rang.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello? Tiana? It's Marcel." Marcel said as I turned the loudspeaker on to hear him more clearly.

"Marcel? How'd you get my phone number?" I said as he paused for a while.

"I kind of have the whole class' personal information since I'm the class monitor so I kind of dialed your number right now since you need help." he said as I nodded even though he can't see me.

"Oh, okay," I said.

"So, what can I help you with?" he said as I grabbed my bag and brought out my pen and notebook.

"I-It's kind of hard for you to help me," I said "It's easier if you're here. Mind if you come over?" I added and then there was a long pause before he answered.

"U-Uhm, it's already past 11pm so.." he said which alerted me.

"Oh yeah, oh my gosh that was embarrassing!" I said blushing really hard.

"Hey, It's cool," he said calmly "We could do a video chat if you'd want to," he added which gave me an idea.

Video chat, of course! Why didn't I think of that?

"Oh yeah, sure, cool, give me a minute." I said and got my earphones on to hear him better on the laptop.

After a few moments, he called up and when I glanced at my screen, I could NOT believe what I just saw!
