it was diego lainez and kevin álvarez.

the same boys who joão told me to stay away from. and i totally forgot that mexico were also in the worldcup - and they played for the mexican national team.

unfortunately i met eyes with kevin and he gasped and walked over to me, grabbing a chair and sitting himself next to me uninvitedly while diego ordered the food at the counter.

instantly i scooched my chair as furthest as i could from him. rosia let out a loud gasp.

"eleanor silva." he smirked. "i appreciate getting blocked on every single social media site. mind unblocking me?"

"i actually do mind." i glared at him. "i already told you to piss of but i'll tell you again. i have a boyfriend so you and your friend lainez can fuck off,"

his smile dropped as he made a 'tsk' noise and shook his head.

"that's not very nice." he mocked. "i was just trying to be your friend."

"well that's too bad," i smiled sarcastically as the waiter gave us our food. "see you never, álvarez." i picked my food up and walked outside with rosia and kat.

the two girls stared at me with their mouths wide opened.

"explain what the fuck that was??" rosia exclaimed.

i sighed. "kevin randomly texted me one day and he told me that diego thought i was cute but i told him i was taken, then i blocked him."

"that's crazy!" kat exclaimed as rosia nodded to her, agreeing.

it was starting to get busy and we were beyond hot so we decided to walk back to the hotel. once we had got there we immediately collapsed onto the couches in the lobby and sighed.

"i feel like my legs are broken," kat groaned.

"same," i agreed with her.

kat had to go home so me and rosia went to the arcade for a bit.

"oh my god!" rosia yelled in frustration. "it was so close.." she was playing the claw game and she had almost won a hello kitty plushy.

i laughed at her, "try again maybe."

she tried once more but still her luck was terrible - the claw got it but dropped the plush right near the hole.

rosia kept wasting her money while trying to get it until antònio came out of nowhere. he probably just got back from training.

"let me try," he said. he entered a coin and got the plushy in the claw, and then it dropped down the hole. rosia grinned and took it out, holding it in her hand and hugging antònio.

"w rizz," i laughed quietly as joão appeared next to me.

"hey, how was practice?" i asked.

he smiled. "it was alright. how was shopping? i hope you spent a lot,"

i laughed and walked over to the 5p coin game cause it was my favourite.

"seriously? this game is so boring," joão complained but followed me.

"you're joking - this is the best game!" i exclaimed and put in 5 coins. the coins slid onto the bottom but didn't make any coins come out.

"see, it's impossible."

i put in 6 more coins and this time lots of coins shifted and fell into the hole.

"impossible huh?" i smirked.

"shut up," he said as he grabbed my chin and kissed me.

we went back to our hotel room and joão jumped right into the shower and i laid on my bed watching netflix on the tv.

i thought about my encounter with kevin earlier - and i was so confused on what he wanted.

i cleared my thoughts as joão came out the bathroom, his wet hair looked so good.

"what are you staring at?" he teased me.

"not you." i said and looked away from him as he laughed and laid next to me.

i laid on his chest and i could feel his heart beating faster,

i got a message from an unknown number.

yeah! i sell my art at a charity shop! it's called the lewy gallery, you should visit sometime, it's amazing. (im just making this up there is no lewy gallery in qatar 💀)

"who's kat?"  joão asked, looking at the screen.

"her name is katerina. she works here part time as a baker." i explained. "she came shopping with me and rosia."

he raised his eyebrow. "i think i saw her yesterday. i don't like her,"

"how?" i turned to look at him, "she's so sweet though!"

joão just shrugged and watched the tv so i did too.
