Chapter 24

"There you are! I've been looking everywhere....What's wrong?"

Forth found Beam sitting on the sand leaning his back to a tree, his eyes darting to a distance. His hair moving as the same winds that hit the water hits his face.

Beam was okay. He was just avoiding Forth for several hours now. He was still embarrassed about what he did last night, no matter how many times he would say it's okay because they're boyfriends.

They had just returned from a sight seeing and trip in the nearby town and had just finished lunch.

All of them wore swimming outfits since they decided to swim in the beach instead of the pools on the other side of the resort.

"Nothing's wrong. Just relaxing."

His heart pounds as he tried to act cool in front of Forth.

"Without me?" Forth teases.

He gave a look and said nothing. Forth sat beside him.

"Is everything okay?"

"H....huh?"

Forth looked him in the eyes and waited for his answer.

"Yes.."

"Why are you avoiding me then?"

"I'm not....just...last night..."

"Hahahahaha!!" Forth laughed when he realized what's bothering Beam.

"Why are you laughing?!"

"Because you're cute. I didn't know you could do that when you got drunk. I like it. Hahaha."

"Perv.." Beam mumbles, clearly flustered.

"Really? I'm the perv now? As i recall i was not the one who could not control his hands that night and mmph —

Beam covered Forth's mouth with his palms.

"Shut up! I don't want to hear anymore!"

He felt so little now and if he says more he might disappear into thin air because of too much embarrassment.

They both averted their attention when they hear someone shouting.

"Kyaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!"........It was Ming........"Kitkaaaaaaaaaat!!! Help me!!!!!!".......He was running like there was no tomorrow........And Phana running behind him with an evil grin on his handsome face.

"Ai'Yo! Make him stop!"

Kit and Wayo were running behind Phana. It seems that Phana and Ming had not stopped bullying each other.

Forth chuckles as he shook his head with his friends antics. He got up and held a hand to help Beam get up.

"Should we help them?" Forth suggested.

Beam rolls his eyes. "Idiots.." Then took Forth's hands and went to their friends.

Even with Phana's long strides, he could not catch up to Ming.

Then Phana grabbed Kit and held him hostage until Ming would surrender himself to Phana. (Of course he held Kit loosely since he was only playing with Ming.)

Instead of surrendering himself, Ming challenged Pha to a duel in Muay Thai.

Even if Pha was good at fighting, he didn't know Muay Thai. He only knows free style fights or street fights.

"No way! Let's do street fight! Free style!"

"If you won't let go of Kitkat i will hostage Ai'Yo too! Asshole Yo come over here!"

"Yo! Get over to Beam and hide behind him!"

"What! No way!" Beam protested and hid behind Forth as he didn't want to be part of their silly game. "Protect him on your own.."

"Engineering moons are cowards!" Pha let's go of Kit now. And Kit smacks Phana's arm before going over to where Beam, Wayo and Forth were standing.

Phana shouted to insult Ming but he forgot Forth, another engineering moon, could hear it too.

"What the fuck did you say?!" Forth went over to Ming and stood beside him, whatever idiotic game these two were playing, he was now part of it.

"Uh oh. Beam! Kit! Help me out here!"

"You got yourself into that. Get out of it alone!"

Kit responded dryly.

"Me and P'Forth will kick your asses! Med students are no match for us!"

"What the fuck?!" Beams says.

Forth smacked Ming for provoking Beam. Now Beam was mad and he's teaming up with Pha.

"Asshole Ming! That was so uncalled for!" Forth hissed.

Now the four of them, Ming, Forth, Pha and Beam, were running around like idiots trying to catch each other while avoiding the other's team mate.

Kit and Wayo were left speechless. Wayo was giggling as he filmed the whole thing and Kit stares at them annoyingly.

Lam, bringing snacks with him, walked over to Wayo and Kit were and offered them the food which the three of them shared.

"Here guys let's eat this. This is going to take a while." He said as his bored face shows an unimpressed look over the four children running around.

"Why do they have to insult each other's faculties? Such a bunch of children." He proceeded to comment as he shook his head disappointingly at the kindergarteners.

"Even if there would be three of you engineering you are no match for us in any game!" Phana shouted.

"What the hell did you say?!" Lam stood up and shouted back to Phana and Beam."Let's play volleyball then!"

Kit gaped at him. He is now in the game like he didn't just wanted to make them stop a moment ago. This guy, seriously!

Now the game of "annoying the hell out of each other" that Phana and Ming started is played by everyone.

They all agreed to play except for Wayo who just wanted to eat the snacks and watch them play.

It was a game of three Engineering students against three students of Medicine.

They agreed that the losing team would be bossed around by the winning team.

"Kitkat" Ming followed Kit around like a lost puppy. Kit wasn't mad at him, he was pretending not to see him because it was counter measure for them.

The Med students lost the game of beach volleyball earlier. It was a good game and nobody was mad or pissed at anyone. In fact they kept teasing each other.

The rule was: the winning team would get to boss around the losing team.

But none of that is happening because Phana the genius have the upper hand against the two engineering moons:

His best friends are the wife of these two assholes so they really can't boss them around. And Beam and Kit listens to him because they didn't like losing and just wanted to drive their boyfriends insane by teasing them.

Lam can't boss any of them because he was afraid of grumpy kit and if he bosses Beam he would face Forth for that.

So the winner is still the Med students. Odd chances.

Phana and Wayo were outside strolling in the seashore having their alone time.

Ming and Kit were watching tv in the living room. They were okay now because Kit can't resist Ming being sulky of Kit pretending not to see him.

Forth, Beam and Lam were outside chatting, having beer in hand. Lam occasionally teasing Beam about the previous night's incident. Beam being annoyed with Lam pinches Forth every time Lam would make fun of them resulting in Forth throwing beer caps at his best friend.

It was after midnight and everybody was asleep in their own respective rooms. However, Forth and Lam were still awake, having a drink at the poolside. They were to return to Bangkok after lunch the next day.

Beam had dozed off in his room but had opened his eyes the moment he didn't feel Forth's warmth beside him when he leaned closer for a cuddle.

He got up from the bed to check if Forth and Lam were still awake or if they had fallen asleep outside.

He stopped in his tracks as he heard they were deep in a conversation.

"....I dont know how you do that, you must be eunuch by now..hahahaha...anyway..when are you telling him? About...you know..the gathering.."

"I don't know yet."

"But you plan to take him there right?"

"I don't know either.."

Lam chortles.

"What?"

"You know... I have never seen you this messed up man! I guess Doc Beam really has an impact on you. He makes you lose all your confidence and shit. It's funny. Look at you..."

"Stop making fun of me.."

"But seriously man, you have to tell him sooner. You at least need to give him time to decide if he's coming with you or not. Your family is full of good people. He will like it there."

"I hope."

This conversation has made him curious. He had learned that Forth wanted to introduce him to his family.

They have not reached that type of conversation yet.

He's flabbergasted because of what he learned that Forth wanted him to meet the family and not told him.

But he's happy to know that Forth was thinking of a future with him by introducing him to his family and at the same time he was scared of the possibility that they will not like him especially when their relationship was not the type to be accepted by everyone.

He did not bother to disturb them and quietly went back to the room to sleep.

After almost an hour of staring at the ceiling and waiting for sleep to arrive, he noticed Forth has entered the room quietly enough not to wake him since he thought Beam was asleep. He pretended to be asleep.

Forth leaned close to him, kissed him in his forehead and layed down hugging him from the back and dozed off.

Maybe he will just talk to Forth in the morning when they arrive back to Bangkok.

The trip back home was the more relaxing to Forth than the vacation itself.

Of course everybody still drives everyone crazy but at least they didn't do stop overs more than necessary since he and Pha made sure to buy a shitload of snacks on their first stop at a gasoline station for Beam and Wayo....and Lam who would ask for food whenever he would wake up from his nap.

It was Pha who was driving this time with Wayo in the shotgun seat.

Ming and Kit behind them. Followed by Forth and Beam in the next seat. Lam was still in the same seat.

Beam was sleeping, leaning his head to Forth's shoulder. He barely got sleep last night with endless thoughts bothering him. He needs to talk to Forth when they get home.

Little did he know, Forth was thinking the same thing.

Phana pulled over in front of he and Wayo's dorm building. Lam was now in the driver's seat and will be driving next to Beam and Kit's dorm building. He was to drop off the two other couples there and then drive home.

Beam's eyes shows he's tired and pretty much needed to sleep. He wasn't as playful as the day before and of course Forth had noticed that. Maybe talking to him would be a better idea when he's had enough sleep.

He was sleepy but he really don't think he can sleep properly, not after he and Forth could talk. This issue had been taking up all the space in his mind. He wants it to clear up so he can have better sleep.

Beam was the last one to get out of the car. Ming and Kit went up first. Forth took their bags and stepped out of the car.

"P'Forth!" A squealing voice called from the lobby.

Beam sighs.

The fact that this star lived in the same building and if that's not unfortunate enough, the same floor, has escaped his mind.

He remained half seated near the car's open door,his right leg touching the ground and Lam watching behind him as they both watched Forth trying to evade the girl.

Lam sighs. "This girl doesn't know when to quit huh."

Beam turns to him confused. "Art already told her that my friend is taken by Doc Beam but she seems to be quite persistent."

"Wait, you guys told her I'm Forth's lover?"

Lam nods.

"Go right there Beam, claim what's yours." Lam showed him an encouraging smile.

He appreciated the encouraging smile but he was not really in the mood to be sassy right now.

Lam drove off when he got off the car. He walked over to where Forth and Lin were talking and instead of stopping to get Forth, he walked passed them as if he and Forth didn't know each other. Lin's meaningful stare pierced his eyes, whatever that stare meant, he was tired enough not to care for now.

He don't know what's wrong with him now. He was fine a minute ago. They were fine two days before. Now everything is coming to him all at the same time and it's starting to make him numb.

Maybe he didn't want to talk to him now. Maybe he needs to gather up his thoughts first.

Or maybe he don't want to talk about it at all. Maybe it will all pass if they both pretend everything is okay.
