Chapter 6

AILINN

I finished up getting ready for the dinner I was going out to with Jefnier and Myke. I was just wearing a simple blue body con dress and some sparkly high heels. I was just waiting for them to text me because they are picking me up.

"So you are going out with both myke and Jefnier right" Stephanie asked me for the 100th time and I nodded.

"Yes we are going out to dinner like old friends" I reassured her. I still don't know why she's so worried about me going to dinner with them. But I'm glad she stopped bringing up Brad because it was getting irritating  as fuck.

Ding

Myke:We are outside fresita🙂

Me:okay I'll be down there in a minute💗

"Okay they are here for me I'll be back later" I tell her and she nodded. I walked out of the dorm and took the elevator to the first floor. The elevator doors open and I quickly walk out and leave the dorm building. I noticed a black SUV in the front of the building.

I'm guessing it's Myke and Jefnier since I've never seen it before. Just as I was about to walk away I saw the window open and Jefniers head peak through it.

"We are leaving in this car" he told me and I nodded. I walked towards the car and he opened the door. I got in and sat down next to him. Myke was talking on the phone with someone.

"Hi" I told Jefnier quietly so I didn't disturb Mykes conversation and I just waved at him.

"Hi and he's on a business call right he has been for the past fifteen minutes but I think he's finishing up" Jefnier told me quietly in my ear and I nodded. Myke hung up to the phone and he faced us.

"Sorry about that my manager called me"he said with a slightly stressed look on his face.

"It's fine is everything okay" I asked him and he nodded.

"Yeah but he just told me the record label wants the album finished a couple weeks earlier than planned" he told us and we nodded. The car came to a stop and we got out of the car. We were in the restaurant that I told them about. We walked in to the restaurant and Myke places his hand on my lower back leading me inside the restaurant. I glanced at Jefnier and he looked a bit tensed.

"This place is fancy" Myke said and I nodded.

"Yeah it is last time I came was with Stephanie and we were celebrating our A in our first chem test" I told them with a smile remembering that day. It was the first test I got in A here in Harvard it was a huge accomplishment for me.

"I have a reservation under Moreno" Jefnier told the greeter who looked at their tablet.

"Ah yes a private table for three"he said confirming with Jefnier who nodded. "Comet his way" he said and we followed him as he led the way to where I am guessing we are sitting. We walked past a lot of tables until we were in-front of a door which he unlocked. There was a table and chairs and a couch it was a very private room.

"This is your table and your waiter will be here in any moment enjoy" the greeter said and he left the room after we sat down

"So ailinn are you planning to go to Puerto Rico for your winter break" myke asked and Jefnier turned to me also waiting for an answer.

"Yeah I am but not for the whole winter break just a couple weeks because we move in earlier in the sorority house" I said as I took a drink out of my water.

"When is your winter break"jefnier asked curiously and I hesitated a little bit to answer but I did anyways.

"I think December 14 the day after finals it starts and my last final is on the 13"I answered and the waiter came up to us.

"Hello my name is Francis and I will be taking care of you guys today"the waiter said and we nodded. "What can I get you guys started today "he asked us.

"can we get a bottle of red wine the best that you have"myke said and the waiter nodded and wrote it down. We ordered our food and he walked away to place the order.

"I talked to your mom the other dat"Jefnier said and I looked at him a bit shocked. I didn't know my mom still had contact with him but then again I didn't exactly told her the truth on what happened.

"Really? How is she"I asked him. I really wanted to know because I haven't honestly talked to her in a really long time like on the phone I still text her here and there. But its kinda rare at this point since she works nights shift and sleeps most of the day.

"She looks really good I bumped into her because my mom had her over for dinner and I was picking some stuff up from the house"he said and I nodded. I'm glad she's good I really miss her and I want to go visit before winter break but I can't miss school and I don't have the money to buy a roundtrip ticket to PR just to go for a weekend.

"I really want to go visit her but its hard" I told them with a frown.

"I'm sure she understands fresita you know she wants you to succeed in school"myke said reassuringly which helped a little because I know she would kill me if I would miss classes. I so far haven't missed one.

"Yeah I know but I'll see her soon" I said sadly. "Are you guys going to be there around that time" I asked them.

"I'm not I am going to be in California"Myke said with a frown on his face. That sucks I would of really loved to spend time with him in the holidays.

"I think I am"jefnier said which caused me to smile widely. I loved spending Christmas with his family my mom and I always celebrate christmas with him and his family. "you and your mom and spending with us of course"Jefnier said with a smile. He looked really happy and excited.

"The food during christmas is the best" I said like I can just imagine the good ass food that I going to be made.

"You are making your lasagna and slutty brownies right"Jefnier asked with look of hope In his eyes.

"of course " I told him and he was about to say something but they brought our food and wine. I haven't had wine in such a long time here in college its just Titos and Hennesy. They poured wine In our glasses and placed our food in front of us and left. "This looks so good" I said as I stared at the delicious looking food in front of me. I turned to the boys and they were already pigging the fuck out. Boys will be boys.

"So how are you and Brad"Myke asked me and I almost choked on my food because it laughed me off guard.

"Um we broke up a couple days ago" I told him and he looked at me shook.

"Why did he do anything stupid are you okay, should I fuck him up"Myke asked me a bunch of questions.

"No we decided it would be better if we just stayed friends"I told him and he nodded and cooled down. Jefnier just stayed quiet the whole time and I silently thanked him for that.

We finished up dinner and the guys were driving me back to my dorm.Dinner actually went pretty good considering the fact that we haven't seen each other in a while. They pulled up the dorms and I turned to them.

"thank you guys for tonight I missed this" I told them with big smile and they both pulled in for a hug.

"We missed you a lot"Myke said and Jefnier nodded agreeing with him.

"Do you want me to walk your dorm"jefnier asked me and I shook my head no.

"ill be fine but thank you though" I told him and he nodded still a bit unsure. I said goodbye to them and I started walking to the dorm building and I received a message.

Brad:Hey wanna come over?

Me:Yeah Ill be over in 10 minutes

Hes my friend now so this shouldn't be awkward and if those get like that then ill just leave. I turned around and saw the guys car driving off and once they did I started walking to the frat house where Brad lives which is only like a five minute walk. It was kinda creepy though because nobody was on the streets and like I am a paranoid bitch.

I practically ran the last couples to the frat house because luckily they are all greek houses and its still school property but it still scares me to be by myself. I was finally in front of the house and I quickly opened the door since I have permission from the guys to go in the house without knocking. I walked in the house and I instantly saw Brad and he was sitting in the couch.

"Hi" I said and he turned and smile.

"Hey" he answer and got up and walked up to me.

Will I regret this?
