Chapter 5: An Apology For You

"Ughhh, Suga-san my nose won't stop bleeding!" Hinata's nose was pretty red, maybe even blue under the patch that the got earlier.
"I can see that, here have another tissue."
"Thanks." He said while replacing the old tissue with a new one for what feels like the 100th time.
Hinata knew Kageyama didn't do it on purpose so he wasn't angry with him. But you know who did make him angry, Tsukishima. I mean did he have to come and trigger Kageyama out of nowhere!? Though he seemed confident for some reason. Is it because he's extremly tall or something? I wonder how tall he is exactly. Now I'm getting off track, anyway Kageyama is a nice person he wouldn't hurt anyone.

Kageyama's guilt left a lump in the troat. He couldn't shake off what happened. He didn't get to apoligize properly either. When he was in middle school he never really said any nice things or apoligized or something. So when saying stuff like that he feels very awkward. And especially with Hinata.
When they practiced that morning Kageyama felt awful. All he did was keep his eyes on him, he couldn't stop looking at the orange haired boy. Hinata sat on the floor against the wall. He looked like a puppy craving to go outside and play but can't. Guilt was the only thing Kageyama was feeling, and if he looked away he would feel even more guilty ignoring the problem. That's when he remembered, he and Hinata walks home from school together. Though today is the second time so maybe Hinata has other ways to get home. Well it doesn't matter, all I've got to do is catch him so I can talk to him. Therefore, after school is my chance.

School had ended and it started to get cold outside. But even if the temperature had sunk the cherry blossoms where still pink and beautiful. Kageyama watched students taking their bikes or walking to the buss staition. He scanned the area for the orange haired boy like a hawk. That dumbass shouldn't be hard to spot. The time went by and the sun started to go down. Now Kageyama had waited for 45 minutes straight. Everyone was gone now and he could sense the emptiness around him. The leaves danced on the ground flowing past. Maybe he missed Hinata? Or did he teleport home or something? Where is that idiot?
Kageyama closed his eyes and let out a slight sigh. Maybe I'll apoligize tomorrow. He gave up and started his journey home.
The sun was down now. Kageyama looked out the window to only see a dark blue sky. If you looked closely you could see the stars sparkling, but Kageyama's train was almost at his station in the city therefore most of them were hard to spot.
When he stood at the enterance of his house, another spark appeared. They were like shining orange dots. And when he tried to touch them his hand flew right through with a hint of warmth. Kageyama was suprised of the sudden light appearing but he knew it wanted something. The orange dots tried to lead him somewhere. But why would he follow it? All it did was drag him back to the train station and jump off at a random village. He was like hypnotized following the strange light. And then when he reached a house he knocked on the door. When he turned around the dots disappeared. What just happened?
Someone opened the door. At the enterance a small ginger stood rubbing his eye."Hello..?"
"Hinata..?" When the small boy looked up his face immediately lit up.
"Kageyama! What are you doing here?"
"I uh, can we talk for a moment?" He looked to the side, he was pretty sure he was blushing.
"Sure come on in!" Hinata was at the kitchen while Kageyama waited on the sofa. He saw a smaller version of Hinata peeking out from the kitchen. So there's two of him? Okay. Kageyama tried to play the situation in his head to come up with the right words and reactions. As you can tell he was pretty nervous.
"Here have some hot chocolate!" Hinata said while bringing two cups over to Kageyama.
"Really Hinata? Autum has just started."
"Shut up I felt like having chocolate after opening the door, it's really cold outside even though school has just started you know." He pouted.
"Hinata, listen it's important." As told Hinata straighten up his sitting position with a focused face starring at Kageyama.
"Hinata, I'm so-sort-sorry for punching you.." Kageyama was revealed to get that off his chest. Finally.
"Kageyama. Don't be. It's not your fault." He continued."It's just that Tsukishima that made me mad. He just came out of nowhere you know saying offensive things!" Kageyama looked down at his cup. It was true you know.
I thought my past was behind me but apparently not.
