𝐂heong-san turned to face the group, his eyes lingering on Na-hee for a moment before he cleared his throat, determination etched across his features. "I'll lure the zombies. You guys go with the plan." he announced firmly.

"I'll meet you there." he finished, his voice steady despite the gravity of his decision.

The others immediately began to protest, their voices filled with concern as they realized Cheong-san was volunteering to be the bait for them to escape.

"That's crazy, Cheong-san! What if you can't outrun them?" Gyeong-su exclaimed, stepping in front of him, his eyes wide with fear.

"Gyeong-su is right. We made a promise to get out of here alive." Na-hee said, her voice trembling as she shook her head repeatedly, pleading with him to reconsider.

Cheong-san met Na-hee's gaze, his expression softening. "It's alright. I'll be alright. I promise." he reassured her, his voice calm but resolute.

"Cheong-san..." Su-hyeok started, his voice laced with worry, but Cheong-san gently stopped him.

"Su-hyeok, just go. I'll meet you guys." he said, his tone leaving no room for argument. He reached out and took Na-hee's hand, then gently handed her over to Su-hyeok and the others. Na-hee stared at Cheong-san, her eyes wide with shock and fear.

"Take care of Na-hee." Cheong-san instructed, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Cheong-san..." Na-hee began, her voice choked with emotion, but Su-hyeok and On-jo held her back, understanding that Cheong-san's decision was final.

"It's okay." Cheong-san said, offering her a small, reassuring smile.

"I'll wait for you. You better be there." Na-hee replied, a small, bittersweet smile forming at the corner of her lips, a silent promise hanging in the air.

Cheong-san nodded, feeling a warmth in his heart knowing that Na-hee trusted him. "See you there." he said, his voice steady. He then slowly turned away from them, glancing back one last time at the group and Na-hee before leaping through the window, letting out a loud scream to distract the approaching zombies.

Na-hee let out a deep breath, realizing she had been holding her breath the entire time. A wave of regret washed over her as she rethought her decision to let Cheong-san go alone.

How could she have been so foolish?

The weight of her choice settled heavily on her shoulders as she watched him disappear inside the building, her heart aching with worry.

"Come on, everyone, this is it." Na-hee urged, her voice steady yet filled with urgency as she tried to rally the group.

Dae-su, his heart heavy with emotion, patted Gyeong-su on the back as he cried into his shirt, trying to comfort his friend while grappling with his own fear and grief.

Na-hee turned to them, collecting herself as she tried to maintain a sense of calm. "Cheong-san will be fine, I trust him." she said, her voice a mix of reassurance and desperation. "Don't you too?"

"Let's go.." Min-ji urged, sensing the tension among the group and the urgency of their situation.

"Na-hee, let's go." Su-hyeok said gently, his voice a soothing presence amidst the chaos. Na-hee could only nod, her energy drained, unable to muster the strength to respond.

One by one, Min-ji supported the group as they climbed through the window. "Can you climb over?" Min-ji asked Na-hee, her eyes filled with concern. Na-hee nodded, her heart racing as Min-ji helped her up slowly.

Min-ji could see that Na-hee was exhausted, her posture shaking, her eyes lacking their usual brightness, and her breathing unstable. The weight of the situation was taking her energy away from her.

Na-hee continued to hear Cheong-san's voice echoing in her mind. *Please, Cheong-san, complete your promise* she thought desperately.

Her eyes fluttered, desperately trying to hold back the flood of emotions that threatened to overwhelm her.

As they carefully made their way down the stairs, the urgency of their escape pushed them to quicken their pace. They dashed outside the construction site, but Na-hee couldn't shake the feeling of sadness, glancing back as Su-hyeok pulled her closer to him.

"Come on, come on." he urged, his voice filled with a mix of fear and determination.

Suddenly, they all gasped in horror as Hyosan erupted in a massive explosion. "Oh shit." na-hee muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.

The debris from the explosion sent the entire group tumbling to the ground, instinctively covering one another. Su-hyeok rushed towards Na-hee, lowering his body to shield her from the chaos.

The others scrambled to help each other as objects flew through the air, screams of terror filling the space around them. Dirt and debris rained down.

It was now night time, the stars twinkled but not as brightly as before, their light seeming to fade slowly.

The group quickly gathered themselves, eyeing the area around them. Debris lay scattered everywhere, remnants of the destruction that had come from the explosion of Hyosan. Their faces were smeared with dust, a stark reminder of the chaos they had just witnessed.

Na-hee's heart began to ache as she took in the destruction, her eyes darting to the construction site where Cheong-san had been. She sat on the ground, her eyes slowly lowering to the ground as she realized the truth,

She had let Lee Cheong-san die.

Na-hee blinked rapidly as she tried to hold back her tears, her mind racing with regret. She should never have let Cheong-san go in the first place. It was all her fault. She sat there, tears streaming down her face, her cries slowly making her feel suffocated, but she didn't care. All the emotions she had built up finally released, leaving her feeling pathetic, useless, and completely vulnerable.

The others stood there, trying to collect themselves as they realized Lee Cheong-san might be gone from the explosion. They looked at the girl, their hearts aching for her.

On-jo slowly walked towards Na-hee, her cries filling the air. On-jo knelt down beside her. "Na-hee..." On-jo called softly as she got closer to the girl.

Na-hee turned to her but did not respond. On-jo could hear her cries, and Na-hee could not respond. In that moment, On-jo hugged Na-hee tightly, offering what comfort she could.

Na-hee should have stopped Cheong-san from making himself the bait, just as she should have stopped Na-yeon from leaving.

The sun shone brightly as the group remained in the same spot, their minds still clouded by the events of the previous day.

Na-hee felt the warmth of the sun on her face, but the comfort it once provided was now overshadowed by a deep sense of numbness.

She sat there, her expression blank, lost in thought, replaying Cheong-san's final moments in her mind. The silence around her was deafening, broken only by the distant sounds of the world continuing without them.

As she gazed into the distance, her eyes drifted back to the construction site, a place that now felt heavy with loss and memories.

Slowly, she stood up, her legs feeling unsteady as she began to walk toward that familiar yet haunting direction.

When she finally stopped, she looked out at the site, her heart aching with a mix of fear, sadness, and a flicker of hope. The devastation was overwhelming, and she felt a pang of guilt for not being able to save him.

On-jo and Su-hyeok stood beside Na-hee, a heavy silence enveloping them. Su-hyeok gently placed his hand on Na-hee's shoulder, offering a sense of comfort, his expression reflecting deep sorrow as he tried to find the right words.

"Let's go." he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. He turned to Na-hee, concern etched on his face as he watched her struggle with her emotions.

"Na-hee-ah, let's go" On-jo urged, her eyes meeting Na-hee's. In that moment, they shared an unspoken understanding, their gazes filled with the same sadness and the weight of their loss.

"I know Cheong-san made it out. He promised." Na-hee murmured, her voice trembling as she sniffed back tears. She clung to that promise like a lifeline, refusing to accept the reality that threatened to consume her.

Slowly, she turned to face On-jo and Su-hyeok, who were both looking back at her with a mix of empathy and worry.

"Could you wait for me, even just for a second? I'm sorry." Na-hee said, her words barely audible as she struggled to find the strength to move forward.

Shaking her head, she quickly added, "Actually, never mind. Go ahead. I'll catch up with you." A small, forced smile appeared on her face, but it didn't quite reach her eyes, a mask hiding her emotions within.

Na-hee slowly walked towards the construction site, her mind a blank, yet her heart was filled with hope that Lee Cheong-san had made it out. She had to believe that he was still out there, somewhere, waiting for them, for her.

Nam-ra stood up and walked toward the two, her face a mask of blankness, but her eyes betrayed a deep concern for Na-hee.

On-jo and Su-hyeok turned to look at her, their expressions a mix of concern and confusion as they watched her approach.

"I'll go with her." Nam-ra managed to say, her voice steady but laced with a quiet determination.

"Then we'll go too." On-jo replied, her voice firm as she nodded in agreement.

"I'm also going." Dae-su chimed in, attempting to stand up but failing as pain shot through his injured leg.

"No, you hurt your leg." Wu-jin said firmly, concern etched on his face as he stepped forward to support Dae-su.

Joon-yeong held Dae-su as he helped him sit down, trying to keep him from struggling too much, while Gyeong-su stayed by their side, offering help as much as he could.

"I'll go" Wu-jin told them, making the others look at him with surprise.

"You three should just keep an eye on Dae-su." Su-hyeok instructed, his voice calm yet firm as he pointed to Joon-yeong, Wu-jin, and Gyeong-su.

Joon-yeong stopped Wu-jin as he looked at Su-hyeok. "Keep safe." he told them, although his tone firm, as Wu-jin and Joon-yeong let out their competitive side.

On-jo, Nam-ra, and Su-hyeok followed Na-hee towards the construction site, matching her pace as they climbed the stairs. Na-hee ascended slowly, holding her breath, the stillness sending a chill down her spine.

She glanced around the devastated site, her heart heavy with the weight of what she might find. The remains of the construction area lay scattered around her.

As she reached the floor, a wave of sadness washed over her, tightening in her chest. She walked around, her eyes scanning the area as if she were waiting for someone to appear. She paused, her heart racing, the silence pressing in on her.

"Hey, Cheong-san." she whispered, glancing around anxiously. "It's not funny" she called out, her voice echoing in the stillness, a plea for him to respond.

The three of them stood there, their hearts heavy with the same ache of loss for Cheong-san. On-jo stood beside Na-hee, sensing the weight of her sadness, the air thick with unspoken grief.

"Cheong-san, don't be such a jerk!" On-jo exclaimed, Maybe Cheong-san was really gone, and Na-hee had been denying it all along.

Nam-ra walked towards the two, her presence both commanding and gentle. "Let's go." she said, her voice firm yet soft, carrying an air of quiet strength. "I don't smell anything. There's no one here." Nam-ra said to On-jo and Na-hee, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Let's say goodbye to Cheong-san." Nam-ra uttered softly, her voice trembling with a mix of sorrow and determination. "And go." she finished, taking a hesitant step forward. She wrapped her arms around On-jo and Na-hee, pulling them into a warm embrace.

Na-hee hugged Nam-ra back tightly, wishing she could somehow ease the pain of losing Cheong-san. In that moment, she allowed herself to feel the full weight of her grief, knowing that it was okay to cry, to be vulnerable.

The group moved forward, and Na-hee thought to herself that Cheong-san and Na-yeon would want her to keep holding on. And that's exactly what she was going to do, until her last breath.

As they walked, the stillness of the forest surrounded them, a haunting silence that echoed the absence of her fallen friends. The trees loomed overhead, their branches swaying gently in the breeze, but the beauty of the scene felt overshadowed by the weight of her grief.

The silence between the group was broken by Nam-ra, her voice cutting through the stillness. "The soldiers saw that we were at the school" Nam-ra uttered quietly next to On-jo, but Na-hee and the others could hear every word.

"They left us there without helping us, and then they bombed it." Her voice dropped even lower, the weight of her words hanging heavily in the air as On-jo and Nam-ra's pace matched together, their shared frustration palpable.

Na-hee felt a surge of disbelief, but she couldn't help but slightly agree with Nam-ra's words. They had been left on the rooftop to die, vulnerable and exposed, with no one to save them.

"Maybe they actually want us to die." Nam-ra finished, her voice trembling with a mix of anger and disbelief, although her voice remained neutral.

"I don't believe that" On-jo responded firmly, her tone laced with defiance. The conviction in her voice was a stark contrast to the despair that hung in the air. Na-hee could sense the tension between them.

As they continued walking, Na-hee felt the weight of their emotions pressing down on her. She wanted to believe in hope, to find a way to keep moving forward, "Whatever happens, we need to stick together." Na-hee finally said, her voice breaking the silence that had settled over them.

"We owe it to Cheong-san and to keep fighting." Her words hung in the air, as they pressed on through the haunting stillness of the forest.

Na-hee walked between Joon-yeong and Dae-su, the weight of their presence both comforting and unsettling. Joon-yeong glanced at her, clearing his throat softly.

"How are you holding up, Na-hee?" he asked, his voice low and careful. Na-hee let out a soft hum in response.

"I'm alright... I think" she replied, her expression remaining neutral, though her eyes betrayed a hint of weariness.

Joon-yeong offered a small, reassuring smile. "Na-hee, you know, I'm here to guide you" he continued, his tone genuine. "Don't be afraid to talk to me." He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, a gesture meant to convey support.

"Thanks, Joon-yeong" Na-hee replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

It was the perfect moment for Oh Joon-yeong to make a move, Na-hee was in a vulnerable state, emotionally and physically drained.

How fucked up is he on the head?

Oh right, he doesn't give a single shit until he get what he wants.

"This might sound out of place right now... but I've been meaning to tell you something" he began, their steps falling into sync as he spoke. Na-hee made a soft sound, encouraging him to continue.

"I like you" he confessed, his voice steady but laced with sincerity.

Na-hee felt her steps slow as Joon-yeong matched her pace, his eyes fixed on her. "I mean it." he added, his gaze unwavering. "You're the only one who understands me, the only one who can truly be mine."

"Joon-yeong, I'm sorry. I can't really think of anything right now." Na-hee told him, her tone honest and tired. "Since we've been in this stupid zombie apocalypse, I can't think of anything but survival first." she finished, her words heavy with the reality of their situation.

"I understand." Joon-yeong replied, his expression softening.

"I'm glad you do. I mean, we're on the same page, right?" Na-hee asked, seeking reassurance.

"Right." Joon-yeong agreed, a small smile playing on his lips. He felt his pace begin to slow as he watched Na-hee ahead of him.

"I want you to be mine. Selfishly, thoughtlessly, mine." Joon-yeong uttered to himself.

Oh Joon-yeong doesn't give up on what was his, especially not Na-hee. He would do whatever it takes to win her over.

Na-hee is his.

Na-hee just doesn't know it yet.

Suddenly, Joon-yeong's thoughts were interrupted as he realized Gyeong-su had his hand on his shoulder, with Wu-jin standing close by. "What's with that face?" Gyeong-su asked, his tone playful but curious.

"Nothing." Joon-yeong replied, brushing off Gyeong-su's hand with a hint of menace.

"Na-hee..." Gyeong-su began, his voice dropping to a low murmur that only the three of them could hear. The mention of her name caused both Joon-yeong and Wu-jin to turn their heads toward him.

"Do you think she likes blood play?" Gyeong-su asked, his tone light and teasing, a joke that felt out of place in their current reality.

And a joke that felt like a threat in Joon-yeong's mind.

Joon-yeong's eyes narrowed, "You're trying to take her from me, you'll regret it" he tells them, his voice low and threatening. Wu-jin raised his hands in a mocking surrender, his face held a smirk

Gyeong-su looked at the two of them, his eyes blinking rapidly as his smile widened into something unsettlingly eager. "Oh, we're on the same page then!" he exclaimed, his voice laced with a manic energy

Wu-jin and Joon-yeong turned to him their eye brows lifting in confusion, Gyeong-su bounced around them, his movements too energetic, too forced, as if he were trying to mask the dark thoughts swirling in his mind.

"You know" Gyeong-su started, his voice dripping with false sweetness, "I think Na-hee and I would make a great team. We could protect each other, you know?"

Joon-yeong's eyes flashed with anger, but he kept his composure. "I think Na-hee and I are doing just fine on our own." he replied, his voice low and threatening. "Why don't you go find someone else to bother?"

Gyeong-su's smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly recovered, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous light. "Wow" he let out mockingly, his voice laced with a hint of malice. "She's my love at first sight."

Wu-jin tugged at Gyeong-su's arm, a warning in his eyes. "What's that and what's with you?" Wu-jin asked, a playful smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"You've been weird since the broadcasting room." he added, his gaze fixed on Gyeong-su.

Gyeong-su's spirit faltered slightly. "What do you mean?" he asked, feigning innocence.

"Nothing." Wu-jin replied, his smile widening. He then turned to Joon-yeong.

"You've been weird too since Min-ji almost got bitten." he said, his tone casual but his eyes searching.

"What does that mean?" Joon-yeong raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued.

"Are you.." Wu-jin began, but before he could finish, the moment was interrupted by Min-ji, pulling their attention away from the conversation.

"Shit. I think we're lost." Min-ji replied, frustration bubbling beneath her calm exterior. "I think we've been going in circles."

"Why did you come this way if there was no trail?" Dae-su snapped. His voice was laced with anxiety.

"If we go down the wrong way, it will be Hyosan." he finished, the weight of his words hanging heavily in the air.

Wu-jin took a cautious step forward, distancing himself from Dae-su, while Joon-yeong and Gyeong-su carefully assisted Dae-su, trying to ease the tension. Wu-jin then pointed ahead, his voice steady but urgent. "Ha-ri, look!"

"Someone must've left it." Ha-ri stated, her eyes brightening momentarily.

"Who did something nice, huh?" Min-ji added with a smile, looking up at the group. "A ginseng digger?" she finished, but her smile quickly faded as she exchanged a glance with Ha-ri.

Na-hee, sensing the unease, furrowed her brows and stepped in front of the group, her instincts kicking in. "Look, there's another one." she said, her voice low and cautious. Ha-ri then walked towards that area in curiosity.

Na-hee also began to walk slowly, her heart racing as the others quickly followed them, the air thick with apprehension.

"Hey! Na-hee, Ha-ri, be careful!" Wu-jin called out, his voice filled with concern as they all carefully navigated the ground. There was a small slope that they needed to slide along, so they carefully followed Ha-ri and Na-hee.

The group stood on the foggy street, their breaths visible in the chilly air as they carefully made their way forward. They walked slowly, eyes wide with curiosity, taking in the eerie surroundings.

Na-hee carefully observed the surroundings, it was quiet, which means in movies..it's never a good sign. As she walked, her heart raced at the sight of animals that had been torn apart, likely victims of the zombies.

Na-hee let out a shaky breath. "Should we be in here?" she uttered to the group, unsure if this place was safe. There could be zombies lurking around without them knowing.

"Didn't he say to go to Yangdong?" Dae-su asked, his voice strained as Joon-yeong and now Su-hyeok carefully assisted him, still limping from his injury.

"You don't think there are zombies here too, do you?" Hyo-ryung said, her voice trembling with uncertainty.

"No way" Dae-su replied, forcing a confident tone despite the fear creeping into his mind. He groaned as the pain flared up again, and they continued to limp forward.

"Maybe they evacuated because it's next to Hyosan." Joon-yeong suggested, struggling to support Dae-su's weight.

"Hey, I'm getting a bad feeling about this..." Min-ji said, her grip tightening around her weapon, knuckles white with anxiety. The silence around them felt eerie, like something or someone was about to come out of nowhere.

"Where is everyone?" she added, her voice barely above a whisper, the weight of their isolation settling heavily in the air.

"We're okay here" Ha-ri told Min-ji as they walked side by side, her voice steady but laced with a hint of reassurance.

Min-ji turned to look at Ha-ri, her brow furrowed in uncertainty. "Why? How do you know that?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Ha-ri took a deep breath, scanning their surroundings with a determined gaze. "There are no broken windows or blood on the streets." she replied, her tone firm as she tried to instill confidence in her friend. "It wouldn't be this clean if there had been a zombie rampage."

Nam-ra paused, her gaze sharpening. "Hold on." she murmured to On-jo, her voice low with concern. The group turned toward them, curiosity flickering across their faces.

"Do you hear something?" Na-hee asked Nam-ra, as they made eye contact.

"What is it?" On-jo pressed, her brow furrowing as she watched Na-hee looking around for any signs of zombies coming.

Su-hyeok pulled his arm away from Dae-su and stepped forward, a sense of urgency radiating from him. Dae-su groaned in pain as he felt the weight of his injuries, and Gyeong-su quickly took Su-hyeok's place, helping Dae-su to his feet while also struggling to keep Joon-yeong steady.

"What's going on? Did you hear something?" Su-hyeok asked, his voice edged with panic.

"Zombies." Nam-ra replied, her expression scared and overwhelmed by the noise that seemed to echo in her ears.

"Where are they?" On-jo asked, her voice quivering with fear as she glanced anxiously at Na-hee, who was visibly nervous.

"Everywhere." Nam-ra answered, her eyes scanning the surroundings, filled with dread.

"That means we will get outnumbered." Na-hee stammered, her voice barely above a whisper, fear wrapping around her like a suffocating blanket.

"Let's get out of here." she told the group, her voice shaking as she tried to steady herself.

"Run!" Nam-ra managed to say, her voice strained but firm. The moment the word left her lips, panic surged through the group like a tidal wave.

Without a second thought, Nam-ra grabbed Na-hee's hand, her grip both reassuring and urgent, as they all sprinted away from their spot. Their footsteps echoed loudly in the silence as they ran through the eerie area.

Once they made it out of the alleyway, their adrenaline urged them to run faster. As they glanced back, they caught a fleeting glimpse of the trio behind them, Gyeong-su, Joon-yeong, and Dae-su, who had stumbled and tripped over each other in a chaotic heap.

The group turned back around, their breaths heavy and ragged. As they rushed to assist their friends, a wave of relief flooded through them when they saw that their friends were okay.

"Come on, we have to go!" Gyeong-su urged, his voice laced with urgency, while another offered a hand to help Joon-yeong up.

Su-hyeok immediately rushed towards the shovels that had been placed on the side. He grabbed one tightly and then rushed to the back of the group. "Take Dae-su and go." he told them, his voice firm and commanding.

"Forget it" Dae-su replied, limping forward to grab a shovel as well, determination etched on his face.

Su-hyeok turned around to look at Dae-su, worry evident in his eyes. "What are you doing?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

"I said forget it" Dae-su's voice was filled with desperation as he gripped the shovel tightly, his knuckles white. The others followed suit, grabbing their weapons and preparing for what was to come.

"I feel this may be the end" Min-ji murmured in fear as they all looked ahead, waiting for the zombies to appear.

"Don't say that." Na-hee told her, her voice steady and resolute. She then grabbed a metal bar near her and held it firmly in her hands.

"We're not dying." she declared, her eyes scanning the group. "Be ready to fight." she instructed, letting the metal bar rest on her shoulder.

Na-hee looked at them, her expression fierce. "At least we'll put up a fight rather than giving up." she finished. She walked slowly near Su-hyeok, who was taking the lead much to his dismay.

"Stay back Na-hee" Su-hyeok warned her, his voice low and urgent.

"I don't want to" she stubbornly replied, her eyes locked on his.

"Na-hee... I can take the lead." Su-hyeok uttered, his tone pleading.

"So can I." she told him. "But if something goes horribly wrong, you guys run." she said truthfully, her voice laced with concern for her friends.

"No, I'm staying by your side." On-jo let out from behind. Na-hee glanced at her, and On-jo's determined gaze sent a surge of warmth through her. "Trust me, i won't leave. if you're staying, I'm staying."

And just then, in the distance, the zombies finally appeared, their groans echoing through the air. Su-hyeok dashed forward, swinging the shovel at the zombies, while Dae-su and Na-hee followed his lead, striking the zombies' faces with their own weapons.

Dae-su with his shovel and Na-hee with her crowbar.

Some of the zombies managed to crowd Su-hyeok, but he threw them down harshly and swung the shovel at one of the zombies with a powerful blow. The others eventually joined the fight on their side as more zombies continued to aappear.

Na-hee dragged the zombie that was towering over Min-ji to the ground, and then Ha-ri swung the shovel at its face with a forceful strike.

Na-hee really needed to hit a zombie in the face to let out her anger and frustration.

She let out a deep breath as she ran her hand through her messy hair, trying to clear her mind.

Suddenly, she heard On-jo struggling as a zombie reached out to her. Na-hee dashed towards her, holding her crowbar high, and smashed it onto the zombie's head, blood splattering onto her face.

She stared at the dead zombie, then turned to On-jo, their eyes meeting. On-jo gave her an appreciative nod.

Na-hee helped On-jo up, and On-jo quickly accepted her assistance. "Look out!" Su-hyeok's voice rang out, and suddenly a zombie launched itself at Na-hee, making her fall hard to the ground. Her head hit the floor first, causing her to groan in pain.

She lay on her back, staring at the zombie nervously, with her crowbar held in front of her as a shield. The zombie's blood dripped onto her face.

"Shit!" Na-hee stuttered as she looked up at the zombie, trying to dismiss the pain in her head. On-jo grabbed the shovel nearby and hit the zombie away from Na-hee.

Na-hee let out a sigh of relief as she stayed on the ground to catch her breath, putting her hand on her head and noticing it was bloodied from the impact of the zombie earlier.

Unfortunately, the zombie was already making its way towards the new target, which was Jang Ha-ri.

"Ha-ri!" Wu-jin shouted. Na-hee stood up quickly as she saw the zombie running towards Ha-ri.

"Shit, shit, shit!" Na-hee uttered to herself as she ran after the zombie, determined not to let it hurt anyone else.

She launched herself at the zombie, and both she and the zombie fell to the ground. Na-hee quickly regained her footing and grabbed her crowbar, which had fallen out of her hand during the tackle. Ha-ri let out a stunned gasp as she watched Na-hee take the zombie for her.

The zombie was quick to regain itself, and Na-hee shielded Ha-ri from the zombie's gaze. The zombie lunged at her, trying to grab onto Na-hee, but its hand grabbed onto her weapon instead.

"Get off!" Na-hee yelled. In a quick move, she jumped up and kicked the zombie, causing it to crumple down.

As it stood up again, ready to attack, a makeshift weapon swung at the zombie's head, cracking its skull.

Na-hee and the others watched as the zombie fell dead to the ground. Na-hee let out a sigh of relief, and Ha-ri quickly stood up, hugging Na-hee. "Thank you" she whispered. Na-hee felt a shock at the embrace but relaxed into it.

Min-ji made her way to the two. "That was so fucking cool!" she exclaimed.

After Ha-ri stepped back, Na-hee turned around to see who had launched their weapon at the zombie, and it was none other than

Lee Cheong-san.

"Cheong-san!" Na-hee called out, her voice trembling with relief. Without hesitation, she sprinted forward and wrapped her arms around him.

Lee Cheong-san loosened his grip on the makeshift weapon he was holding and returned her embrace, his heart swelling with warmth.
