𝐒u-hyeok walked over to Cheong-san, his expression serious. "I'll lead, you stay in the back." he instructed, and Cheong-san nodded in agreement, ready to follow his lead.

With a determined stride, Su-hyeok approached Na-hee. "Are you ready?" he asked, his voice steady. Na-hee met his gaze and nodded, a small smile breaking through her anxiety.

"I have to be. I'll help." she replied, her voice firm despite the fear bubbling beneath the surface. Su-hyeok felt a surge of reassurance as he held onto her hands. Na-hee glanced down at their intertwined fingers.

"Okay, just stay beside me." he reassured her, his grip tightening slightly.

"Are you ready?" Joon-yeong called out to the group, his voice echoing in the tense atmosphere.

"Shit." Min-ji muttered under her breath, her heart racing with fear. "You better be right about this." she shot back at Joon-yeong, her eyes wide with apprehension.

"We've seen so many zombies already. They're not smart enough for this." Joon-yeong replied, trying to instill confidence in the group.

Na-hee turned her head to meet Nam-ra's gaze, silently communicating their shared resolve. "Stay close with us." she urged, and Nam-ra nodded in agreement.

Everyone was acutely aware of the risks involved in their plan. They were all hoping it would succeed without anyone losing their life along the way.

Na-hee took a deep breath, her hands slowly forming fists as she steeled herself for the confrontation ahead. She focused on the door, knowing that beyond it lay the horde of zombies waiting for them.

With a shared look of determination, Su-hyeok and Joon-yeong reached for the doorknob. They exchanged a final nod, and then, in unison, they opened the door, triggering a wave of action from the group.

Su-hyeok led the charge, using his strength to keep the zombies at bay while Joon-yeong pushed the barricade outside. The others quickly followed suit, pulling carts to form a protective circle around themselves. Su-hyeok worked quickly, tying the carts together to fortify their makeshift barricade.

"Did you tie it?" Joon-yeong asked, glancing back at Su-hyeok, who was busy securing the last knot.

"Yes! Push!" Su-hyeok commanded, urgency lacing his voice.

The zombies quickly surrounded their barricade, their growls growing louder as they pressed against it. The group struggled to push the carts toward the exit, their combined strength tested as more zombies approached. "Push!" Su-hyeok shouted, desperation creeping into his tone.

"They're climbing over!" Min-ji yelled, panic rising in her chest. The group felt the weight of fear settle in as the zombies began to breach their defenses.

"It won't budge!" Gyeong-su yelled, frustration evident in his voice.

"Push harder!" Joon-yeong urged, his determination unwavering. "We can do this!" But the sheer number of zombies was overwhelming, and the barricade refused to move. "It won't move!" he shouted again, his voice strained.

Cheong-san swung his baseball bat at a zombie that was beginning to climb over, his movements swift and practiced. Others joined in, kicking and punching at the encroaching zombies, trying to keep them at bay.

Suddenly, a zombie lunged and grabbed Hyo-ryung, sending shockwaves of panic through the group. On-jo sprang into action, helping Hyo-ryung escape the zombie's grasp, while Na-hee quickly moved to assist. But just as they were getting Hyo-ryung to safety, a zombie grabbed On-jo's foot, causing her to stumble and fall to the ground.

On-jo screamed, and Na-hee rushed toward her, kicking the zombie's hand away and pulling her up. "Push!" Na-hee shouted, her voice filled with urgency.

"Su-hyeok, above you!" Cheong-san warned just in time. Su-hyeok swung his bat with precision, knocking the zombie off balance. But chaos erupted as Min-ji was suddenly grabbed by another zombie, her scream piercing the air.

Joon-yeong hesitated for a moment, as he stared at the zombie.

Without a second thought, Na-hee dashed toward Min-ji, grabbing the zombie's hair as it growled menacingly. "Na-hee!" Joon-yeong shouted, snapping out of his daze. He swung his bat with all his might, striking the zombie hard and sending it crashing to the ground, allowing Min-ji and Na-hee to escape.

"Are you okay?!" Joon-yeong exclaimed, grabbing Na-hee by the shoulders, his eyes filled with worry. Na-hee could see the fear etched on his face, a side of him she had never seen before.

She never once saw Joon-yeong this scared.

"Yes, I'm fine, thanks!" she replied, forcing a smile despite the chaos around them.

Min-ji let out a shaky breath, relief flooding her. "What the...? Thank you." she gasped, trying to catch her breath. Na-hee nodded in acknowledgment, grateful they were still together.

More zombies were closing in, their relentless advance pushing the group to their limits as they desperately pushed the barricade toward the exit. "Push!" Su-hyeok shouted again, his voice hoarse but resolute.

"Just a little more!" Dae-su encouraged, his voice rising above the chaos. With one final push, they managed to shove the barricade over, creating a narrow path to escape.

"Untie it! Untie it!" Su-hyeok urged, his heart racing. He turned the knob on the door and slammed his body against it, but it wouldn't budge. "The door won't open!" he exclaimed, panic creeping into his voice.

Na-hee joined in, pushing and kicking at the zombies as much as she could, trying to clear a path.

"What are you talking about?" Cheong-san asked, confusion evident on his face.

"The door won't open!" On-jo responded, frustration mounting as she tried to force it open. Despite all her strength, the door remained stubbornly shut.

Determined, she positioned herself in front of the door, ready to shove her body against it once more. But before she could act, the door suddenly flew open.

As soon as the door flew open from the other side, a wave of panic surged through the group. Everyone rushed out of the auditorium.

Once they managed to spill out into the open air, Cheong-san slammed the door shut with a forceful thud, the sound reverberating in the tense silence that followed. His heavy breathing filled the air, a stark reminder of the chaos they had just escaped.

Na-hee stood there, taking a moment to collect herself, sweat forming on her forehead as she tried to steady her racing heart. Suddenly, she was caught off guard as Cheong-san rushed toward her and enveloped her in a tight hug.

She returned the embrace, relief flooding through her as she felt the warmth of his presence.

As they pulled apart, Na-hee looked over to see who had opened the door from the other side. Her heart swelled as she spotted On-jo's dad, Mr. Nam, who was hugging On-jo tightly, his face a mixture of relief and concern.

Cheong-san, reluctant to break the moment but needing to check on Na-hee, gazed into her eyes. "That was close. You okay?" he asked, letting out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. Na-hee nodded, exhaustion evident in her expression.

"Are you kids okay?" Mr. Nam asked the group, concern etched on his face. His gaze swept over each of them, searching for signs of injury or distress.

Some of them nodded, while others remained numb, still processing the terrifying events they had just endured. "That's good." Mr. Nam commented, his own breathing as rapid as theirs.

"Can you run?" he asked, his voice steady despite the palpable tension in the air.

"Yes." they replied in unison, determination shining in their eyes.

"Alright." Mr. Nam added, urgency creeping into his tone. He turned to face the group, pointing into the distance. "If you go through the tennis courts and the construction site, you'll reach the mountain." he explained, gesturing emphatically with his hand. "Go over the mountain and get to Yangdong."

Before he could finish, Cheong-san's eyes widened as he stared into the distance, his heart racing at the sight of a horde of zombies shuffling their way toward them. "Mr. Nam!" he shouted, panic rising in his voice.

Everyone who had been seated quickly sprang to their feet, alert and ready for action. Cheong-san gently pulled Na-hee close to him, grounding her as their hands interlocked tightly.

Na-hee's heart raced as she spotted a zombie sprinting toward them, its form moving with alarming speed.

Without hesitation, Mr. Nam sprinted toward the approaching zombie, determination etched on his face. With a powerful shove, he knocked the creature off balance, sending it crashing to the ground. In an instant, he broke its leg, ensuring it couldn't rise again.

"Kids, run!" Mr. Nam shouted urgently, his voice laced with panic.

"Shit." Min-ji muttered under her breath as they all began to sprint away, instinctively helping each other along the way.

"Hold on tight, Na-hee!" Cheong-san instructed, his grip firm as they dashed with the group.

Na-hee nodded in agreement, her heart racing as she felt the adrenaline surge through her veins. Cheong-san held her hand tightly, as if he feared she might get lost in the chaos.

"Run! Hurry!" Su-hyeok urged, tapping Na-hee on the shoulder before sprinting ahead with the others.

"To the tennis court!" Mr. Nam directed, his voice filled with urgency. As they ran, the sound of growls and shuffling feet echoed behind them, the zombies were hot on their trail.

Finally, they reached the tennis court, where Wu-jin was already at the gate, swinging it open as they rushed in one by one.

"Come inside!" Mr. Nam called out, fear evident in his voice. Just as Ha-ri prepared to shoot a zombie that was approaching, she failed to notice another one creeping up from her side. The unexpected attack caused her to stumble and fall to the ground.

Na-hee instinctively wanted to help her, but Cheong-san held her back, his grip tightening on her hand to keep her safe.

Su-hyeok quickly intervened, grabbing the zombie that had knocked Ha-ri down and pulling her to safety as they hurried inside the tennis court. Mr. Nam slammed the gate shut just in time, blocking the zombies from getting in.

They ran across the middle of the court but immediately stopped when they noticed a horde of zombies circling outside the court. "Hey, guys, hold on!" Gyeong-su shouted, stopping Dae-su just as he almost fell to the ground.

Na-hee glanced around, her heart pounding as she realized they were completely surrounded by zombies. They stood in the center of the court, fear gripping them tightly.

Suddenly, Hyo-ryung collapsed onto the ground with a harsh thud. Su-hyeok and Na-hee rushed to help her up, while Cheong-san remained by Na-hee's side, their hands still touching.

"We can't go out there. We just can't." Su-hyeok told everyone, his voice steady but laced with urgency.

"What should we do?" Gyeong-su asked, his eyes wide with fear, mirroring the anxiety of everyone else.

"Damn it." Su-hyeok muttered, running a hand through his hair, frustration evident on his face.

"We're screwed." Joon-yeong said, his voice trembling with fear as he pointed to a zombie that had managed to break through the gate.

Mr. Nam swiftly took off his backpack, rummaging through it with a sense of urgency. Cheong-san stepped forward, gripping his baseball bat tightly, ready to defend his friends.

Meanwhile, Su-hyeok and the others worked together to shove the remaining zombies away. Luckily, the zombies were caught in the net of the court, giving the group a crucial advantage.

Mr. Nam held up a flare in his hand, its bright red color contrasting sharply with the dim surroundings. He hurled it to the other side of the court, the loud crackle of the flare drawing the zombies attention as they shifted their focus toward the bright light.

"Let's go!" Su-hyeok signaled to Na-hee, his voice urgent as they quickly ran away from the scene, the zombies distracted by the flare.

Dae-su and the others peeked at the exit, relief washing over them as they saw that there were no zombies in sight. They signaled for the others to hurry.

However, the zombies soon stopped and began searching for the group again. "Na-hee!" Su-hyeok called out, his voice filled with concern. But Na-hee was already making her way toward On-jo, grabbing her arm to pull her along.

"Na-hee? Kid, take On-jo!" Mr. Nam instructed urgently, his eyes wide with determination. Na-hee blinked, her brows furrowing and her heart racing at the gravity of the situation.

Cheong-san stood to the side, ready to assist. "Cheong-san, take care of them." Mr. Nam instructed, his voice steady despite the chaos around them.

"Dad, where are you going?" On-jo asked her father, her voice trembling with fear and confusion.

Na-hee held onto On-jo tightly as Mr. Nam rushed toward the zombies, blowing a whistle to distract them.

On-jo thrashed in Na-hee's grip, panic overtaking her as Cheong-san took Na-hee's other hand, pulling On-jo away from her father.

"Dad!" On-jo yelled, tears welling in her eyes. Na-hee felt her heart ache at the sight of her friend's despair. On-jo kept calling out to her dad, but Su-hyeok, Cheong-san, and Na-hee were pulling her away, urging her to safety.

Mr. Nam lit another flare, the bright light illuminating the area as it drew the zombies attention back to him. "Run!" he shouted at them, urgency lacing his voice as he threw the flare to the other side of the court.

"Get out! Get out now!" he urged the four of them as he dashed forward, his heart racing. They quickly oobeyed.

In a heart wrenching moment, Mr. Nam shut the gate behind him before he could escape, leaving everyone speechless as they tried to comprehend why he had made such a sacrifice.

Na-hee looked down at his hand and noticed a bite mark, her heart sinking at the sight. The reality of the situation hit her like a cold wave.

On-jo approached her dad, confusion etched on her face. "Dad." she said softly, her voice lowering as she looked down and noticed a bite mark on his arm. Her heart dropped at the horrifying realization.

"Dad." On-jo repeated, disbelief flooding her voice as she struggled to process the truth.

"Look at me, On-jo." her father urged, his tone firm yet filled with love. "Go." Even amidst the chaos, he remained steadfast in his role as a father. "Run." he insisted, urgency lacing his words.

"Go!" he shouted, tears glistening in his eyes as he faced the oncoming horde. The zombies managed to reach him, but his gaze remained locked on his daughter.

The group dashed toward the construction site, their hearts pounding as they hurried inside. "No, stop!" Nam-ra managed to shout, her voice cutting through the chaos as everyone froze momentarily.

"What? Why?" they asked in confusion, their hearts racing with fear.

"Upstairs! Go!" Nam-ra urged urgently, her eyes wide with terror as she pointed toward the staircase.

In the hallway, they could see shadows moving at the end, it was the zombies. Panic surged through the group as they sprinted toward the staircase.

"Hurry to the second floor!" Gyeong-su yelled, his voice laced with terror. "Hurry!"

Finally, they reached the second floor and frantically searched for another way out. Nam-ra grabbed Na-hee's hand and said urgently,

"Everyone, over here!" The group quickly gathered around the window, their breaths quickening.

"Is there a way out?" Wu-jin asked, his expression worried. Joon-yeong peeked out carefully and said, "It looks clear! We need to go one by one, quickly!"

Su-hyeok went first, helping everyone down carefully. "Be careful." he said as he steadied Na-hee, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger.

"Quiet! Don't say a word." Nam-ra reminded them, her voice a whisper. They all sat down slowly, trying to stay low and avoid being seen.

Na-hee sat next to On-jo, who was still standing, staring blankly ahead with tears in her eyes. Na-hee noticed that On-jo was gripping a short metal bar tightly, her knuckles white from the pressure.

Na-hee felt her eyes widen, Na-hee stood up and gently pushed On-jo closer to her. "Give me that." she said softly, trying to take the metal away from her friend.

Na-hee managed to grab the bar and threw it far away, surprising everyone. On-jo and the others looked at her in shock, their expressions a mix of nervousness and confusion.

Without thinking, Na-hee hugged On-jo tightly, wrapping her arms around her friend as if to shield her from the pain. "It's okay." Na-hee whispered, her voice soothing as On-jo started to cry, her tears soaking into Na-hee's uniform.

Ha-ri joined them, placing a hand over On-jo's mouth to help muffle her sobs.

First, it was I-sak, and now it was her father, two devastating losses that weighed heavily on On-jo's heart.

As On-jo's muffled cries broke the silence, Na-hee felt a wave of sadness wash over her for her friend. The group around them remained quiet, each person grappling with their own eemotion.

Mr. Nam had sacrificed himself, and the reality of that loss hung heavily in the air.

As they huddled together, "Listen." Na-hee said softly, breaking the silence once more. "We have to stay strong. We can't let this defeat us. Your dad would want you to keep fighting, On-jo."

On-jo looked up at Na-hee, her eyes glistening with tears. "But he's gone." she whispered, her voice trembling.

"I know." Na-hee replied, her heart aching for her friend. "But we have to honor him by surviving. We have to keep going for him and for each other. We can't give up now."

Na-hee squeezed On-jo's hand, offering her a silent promise that they would face this together.

There was a heavy silence hanging between the group as Na-hee sat next to Joon-yeong and On-jo, the weight of their situation palpable in the air.

"Fuck, nothing is working out." Min-ji complained, breaking the silence. "We keep hitting dead ends." she added, frustration evident in her voice as she ran a hand through her hair.

"Be quiet."Dae-su muttered slowly, trying to keep the peace amidst the rising tension.

"Dae-su, don't." Gyeong-su warned, sensing the atmosphere thickening like a storm cloud ready to burst.

"Can you stop being an asshole?" Min-ji shot back at Dae-su, her irritation boiling over like a pot left on the stove too long.

"You give it a rest too." Wu-jin chimed in, attempting to calm the two before things escalated further.

"You juniors better survive until next year and see what it's like being seniors." Min-ji continued, her tone laced with sarcasm. "Survive until next year and tell me which is tougher, zombies or senior year." she finished, crossing her arms defiantly.

"Min-ji." Ha-ri called out as she stood up, determination shining in her eyes. "Let's go." Min-ji stared at her, confusion etched on her face. "Where? Why?"

"Let's look for a spot we can jump off from. We're the seniors." Ha-ri replied, her voice steady and resolute.

"Whatever. It's not like they show us any respect." Min-ji retorted bluntly, her frustration bubbling beneath the surface.

"I'll go this way. You go that way." Ha-ri instructed, gesturing in opposite directions with a sense of purpose.

"Damn it. She's so cool." Min-ji muttered, a hint of admiration creeping into her voice despite her irritation.

"I can try to help as well." Na-hee uttered to herself, but before she could volunteer, Joon-yeong grabbed her hands, preventing her from stepping forward.

Na-hee let out a confused expression towards Joon-yeong, who simply shook his head, his grip tightening almost to the point of causing a bruise.

"Joon-yeong, you're holding my hand tight." Na-hee whispered, her tone laced with concern and unease. Joon-yeong felt his grip loosen at her words.

"Sorry. Just stay here." he told Na-hee, his voice softer now.

"Right." Na-hee replied, feeling a wave of unease wash over her as the sudden spotlight of the others turned to her.

Now that she thought about it, it was rather strange to be the center of attention, especially when Na-hee keeps noticing their eyes that glint of darkness.

Su-hyeok then stood up in front of Min-ji, his expression serious. "I'll go." he volunteered, determination etched on his face.

"Stay down." Min-ji told him firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument.

"No." Su-hyeok replied, standing his ground with a fierce resolve.

Min-ji grabbed his arms, attempting to move in front of him, but Su-hyeok wouldn't budge. Frustrated, she raised her hand to him. "Why, you!"

Su-hyeok flinched slightly at her outburst, his eyes wide. "Move out of the way." Min-ji insisted, pushing Su-hyeok aside. As she left him there, a wave of embarrassment washed over him, but he eventually seated himself down again, feeling defeated.

Na-hee sat there, staring into space, her mind drifting as she became lost in thought. She was so out of it that she didn't even notice when Ha-ri and Min-ji returned.

"That side faces the school, so there's no point." Ha-ri told them, her voice steady.

"The ground is filled with zombies, so we'll die if we go down." Min-ji added, her eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger.

"There's a door on the first floor that leads to the mountain." Ha-ri continued, her voice filled with determination. "I think we'll have to go that way" she finished, her gaze unwavering.

"But it's full of zombies in there." Dae-su told Ha-ri, concern etched on his face. There was a moment of silence as they all contemplated the danger. Cheong-san then looked up, a spark of hope in his eyes.

"Can't we reach the roof if we climb that and the windows?" he pointed up, the others following his gaze. "If someone goes to the roof and screams, the zombies will follow. Then it'll empty out, and the rest can escape." Cheong-san finished, his voice filled with conviction. "I think that will work."

Su-hyeok shook his head vehemently. "No way" he told Cheong-san, his voice firm.

"It's the only way." Cheong-san argued, his determination unwavering.

"No way, Cheong-san!" Na-hee interjected, her voice rising in protest. Cheong-san's eyes softened when they made eye contact, sensing her genuine concern.

Na-hee looked at everyone, her heart racing. "Please, no sacrificing yourself" she pleaded, her voice trembling. Hyo-ryung nodded in agreement.

"I'm against that too" she said firmly. "We agreed to survive together."

"Me too, I feel the same" Dae-su added, his voice steady.

"So do I" Wu-jin nodded, solidarity evident in his expression.

"Then let's wait for now" Min-ji told everyone, her tone resolute.

"And then what? Do you have a plan?" Ha-ri responded, skepticism creeping into her voice.

"It might rain again, and then they'll hear us less." Min-ji answered, trying to sound hopeful.

"Who knows when it'll rain?" Ha-ri shot back, frustration evident in her tone.

"My knees are aching. I think it'll rain soon" Min-ji complained, glancing up at the sky. "Let's see" she said, looking up, and everyone followed her gaze.

"The sky is clear" Joon-yeong told her, concern etched on his face as they all looked down at her again.

Nam-ra looked up towards the sky, furrowing her eyebrows in concentration. "Can you hear that?" Nam-ra asked, her eyes fixed on Na-hee.

"What is it?" Su-hyeok asked, his voice low.

"They're telling us to take cover" Nam-ra replied, her voice urgent. Their attention was now fully alert, the gravity of her words sinking in.

"Who?" Wu-jin asked, confusion evident in his expression.

"There will be explosions. We need to take cover" Nam-ra answered, her voice trembling with worry. "They're planning to bomb Hyosan" she said, her expression grave.

"Explosions? What explosions?" Na-hee asked nervously, her heart racing as panic began to ripple through the group.

"Can you try to listen again?" Su-hyeok suggested, his voice steady despite the chaos around them. Nam-ra nodded, closing her eyes to concentrate.

"Hyosan intersection, future college..our school will be blown up" Nam-ra told them, her breathing quickening as fear gripped her heart.

"Why would they do that? What if some students are still alive at Hyosan?" Na-hee let out anxiously, her mind racing.

*What if Na-yeon and Mrs. Park are still alive?* Na-hee thought, her brow furrowed with worry as she fidgeted with her hands, the skin around her nails raw from anxiety.

"Is the army really going to launch missiles at us?" Wu-jin asked, his voice laced with disbelief as he stared blankly ahead.

"Do you know when?" Gyeong-su pressed, his eyes darting between Nam-ra and Su-hyeok, desperate for any information.

"They're not saying. They're just telling people to evacuate now." Nam-ra answered truthfully, her voice flat.

"Fuck, where are we supposed to go?" Min-ji muttered, irritation coloring her tone as she threw her hands up in exasperation.

"Won't we die if we stay here?" Joon-yeong said, his voice trembling slightly.

Na-hee anxiously looked around, her hands beginning to feel cold and clammy. Great, now not only did they have to worry about the zombies and Gwi-nam, but they were also facing the threat of being bombed.

Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted as a familiar, chilling voice screamed her name. "KIM NA-HEE!" Gwi-nam shouted, the sound echoing through the building like a death knell. The others exchanged confused glances, their faces etched with concern.

Cheong-san's eyes widened, recognition flashing across his face. He knew that voice. He grabbed a metal object and stood up, instinctively moving closer to Na-hee, his protective instincts kicking in.

He didn't like the possessive way Gwi-nam was calling her name, as if he had a right to claim her.

"It's Gwi-nam." Cheong-san announced, his voice calm but serious, a warning to the others.

Na-hee lowered her hands in fear, her heart pounding in her chest as she stared at Cheong-san, her eyes wide with terror. They both knew they were in grave danger.

"Shit." Na-hee uttered to herself, a bitter taste in her mouth. Just her luck.

"That asshole doesn't die." Dae-su said, his voice laced with disbelief and a hint of fear.

"Maybe we misheard. It's quiet now." Hyo-ryung suggested, her eyes darting around, searching for any sign of the lurking threat.

A tense silence descended upon the group, the air thick with anticipation. Na-hee swallowed the lump in her throat, her hands trembling. She shook her head, her eyes wide and nervous. "No... Gwi-nam is definitely here." she said, her voice barely a whisper, her eyes glazed over with fear.

Na-hee slowly walked around, her senses on high alert, as Cheong-san tried to subtly guide her away from the windows. She looked around carefully, trying not to make a sound, her breath held tight in her chest.

Cheong-san, feeling the tension radiating from her, slowly walked toward the window next to Na-hee, his hand gripping the metal object handle tightly.

As he got closer, everyone else stood up, their hearts racing, Suddenly, the window cover flew open, and Na-hee's eyes locked with Gwi-nam's. His eyes darkened, a predatory glint in their depths as he met her fierce stare, a cruel smile playing on his lips.

"Na-hee! How are you?" he asked, his voice dripping with false concern, a smirk plastered on his face as if he was enjoying the moment. Na-hee felt a chill run down her spine, a primal fear gripping her heart.

Gwi-nam forcefully grabbed Na-hee's arm, his grip like a vise as she struggled to break free. "Here you are." he said, his voice low and menacing, staring right back at her with his dark, intense eyes.

Na-hee felt her eyes widen in shock as she fought against his hold, her muscles burning. She hadn't eaten anything in days, and her body was beginning to feel weak and shaky.

"What the hell?!" Su-hyeok exclaimed angrily, directing his frustration at Gwi-nam, his fists clenched at his sides.

"Cheong-san!" Su-hyeok yelled, calling out to Cheong-san, who rushed forward at Gwi-nam with the metal object in hand, his face a mask of fury.

However, Gwi-nam skillfully dodged his attack, his movements lightning-fast. In a swift motion, he grabbed onto Cheong-san's collar and slammed him against the wall, the impact echoing through the tense atmosphere, the sound making Na-hee flinch.

"Cheong-san!" Na-hee yelled in worry, her voice cracking with fear.

Su-hyeok ran forward to face Gwi-nam, his fists raised, but Gwi-nam hit him with a punch that showcased his superhuman strength, sending Su-hyeok crashing to the ground near the edge of the building.

As he started to fall off the edge, he managed to grab onto the ledge, his fingers digging into the concrete as he slowly lifted himself up.

"Let me go, Gwi-nam!" Na-hee yelled at Gwi-nam, her voice filled with desperation, who was clearly enjoying seeing her in distress, his eyes gleaming.

Gwi-nam leaned in close to her ear, his breath hot against her skin, sending shivers down her spine. "Let you go? After all the trouble I went through just to have you again?" he whispered, his voice low as he let out a sinister smirk.

Gwi-nam then pushed Na-hee towards the edge, making everyone's hearts leap into their throats. Na-hee shouted, her voice filled with terror.

Cheong-san, fueled by anger and desperate need to protect Na-hee, tried to punch Gwi-nam in the face, but it didn't seem to hurt him at all. Just as he was about to strike again, Gwi-nam grabbed his hand and twisted it painfully, a sickening crack echoing.

He then kicked Cheong-san away, sending him sliding across in pain, his face contorted in agony. The others quickly rushed to help him up, their faces etched with worry.

"Shit!" Gwi-nam let out, his eyes blazing with anger as his free hand ran through his hair, his grip tightening on Na-hee's arm. He then moved and grabbed her neck, his fingers digging into her skin as he began to choke her, cutting off her air supply. Na-hee thrashed against his hands, her vision blurring.

"I was supposed to take a bite out of Cheong-san so he could turn Na-hee!" Gwi-nam screamed at her, his voice filled with rage, his eyes wild and unhinged. The words confused Na-hee entirely, sending a shiver of fear down her spine.

"Let go of me!" she gasped, her voice hoarse as she clawed at his hands, desperate for air.

"Stop thrashing around, Na-hee!" Gwi-nam yelled at her in anger, his grip tightening on her neck. "I'll throw you down!" he threatened, his eyes filled with a cold, menacing glint.

The others watched Na-hee and Gwi-nam, paralyzed by fear. Bombs were about to drop, and now Gwi-nam had appeared like a nightmare made real. They knew that if they tried to directly help Na-hee, Gwi-nam might just throw her off.

Na-hee met Gwi-nam's gaze, her heart pounding in her chest, His face was twisted into that familiar, sinister smirk that sent shivers down her spine. "What do you want?" she asked, her voice low but firm, trying to mask the fear that threatened to consume her.

"Don't you think it's kinda pathetic to follow us around like a gopher?" she taunted, hoping to provoke him, to throw him off balance.

Gwi-nam's smirk vanished, replaced by a flash of anger. "Na-hee, are you not afraid that I'll throw you down there if I want to?" he snarled, his voice laced with menace.

Na-hee let out a short, derisive huff. "I'm not afraid." she retorted, trying to project an image of confidence she didn't entirely feel. "All you do is talk."

"Shut it!" Gwi-nam hissed, stepping closer, his voice a low, dangerous whisper. "I don't know what will happen next, but I assure you that I'll have you in the end."

"You're not escaping me this time." he taunted, his eyes glinting with a predatory hunger that made Na-hee's skin crawl.

"Are you done saying shit?" Na-hee stated bluntly, refusing to show any fear.

"Brave now, are we?" he sneered, taking another step closer. "I'll make sure I run this game based on how I want it to end."

"Good luck with that." Na-hee uttered, her eyes narrowing.

Suddenly, Gwi-nam flinched, his hands flying up to cover his ears as if in pain. It was a brief, unexpected moment of vulnerability, but it was all the opening Na-hee needed.

Seizing the moment, she kicked Gwi-nam off of her with all her strength, her foot connecting with his chest. The force of the blow sent him stumbling backward.

Just then, Cheong-san sprang into action. he shoved Gwi-nam away, With a desperate lunge, he pushed Gwi-nam off the edge of the building.

Na-hee gasped for air, her hand flying to her neck, where Gwi-nam's fingers had been moments before. Cheong-san quickly rushed to her side, his face etched with concern as he gently held her shoulders.

"Are you okay, Na-hee?" he asked, his voice filled with worry. Na-hee just nodded, unable to speak past the lump in her throat.

Na-hee cleared her throat, trying to regain her composure. "Let's get out of here." she managed to let out. The bombs could fall at any moment, and they needed to find safety, away from Gwi-nam and the impending destruction.
