CHAPTER 30

4 days passed Alec trying to adjust to his trauma without taking any drugs. Magnus took leave from work just to stay by Alec’s side. 

“Baby dinner’s ready” Magnus said.

“Coming….” Alec said removing his headphones.

Dr. Dorethea asked Alec to listen to calm music and meditate at least 3 times a day until he calmed himself down. It was working perfectly well. Alec was slowly becoming his old self again. 

Jace has left to California and Izzy was also busy with her work. There was no news from Robert and Magnus was partly worried about it. He had tried to locate him but there was no use. 

Magnus hasn’t told about Alec’s condition to anyone except for Hayley. He didn’t want to worry Izzy and Jace because they were already worried about all the Robert drama.

“Hey Magnus…how’s Alec now?” Hayley asked on the phone.

“Recovering…” he replied

“That’s good to hear…you’ll be coming tomorrow right? The scheduled meeting has to happen tomorrow with the contractors…”

“Yeah…I’ll be there but I might have to come back asap…I don’t want to leave Alec at home alone…”

“Hmm…I understand…I can take care of the rest don’t worry…” 

“Thank you so much Haylss” Magnus said “and were you able to find those files?”

“I did find some of them Magnus but some of the details were deleted…you can take a look when you get back…”

“Okay...thanks again…” 

“No probs…see you tomorrow…” she said and kept the phone.

As he kept the phone Alec came to the kitchen to have dinner.

“How are you feeling baby?” Magnus asked touching Alec’s cheek.

“better I guess…having occasional headaches though…” Alec said touching his forehead.

“Doc said that might happen because you are adjusting to stay without the drug…you’’ll be fine baby” Magnus said kissing Alec on the cheek and Alec nodded.

“Baby…I have an important meeting tomorrow…so I’ll be going to work…will you tag along?” Magnus asked

“Uhmm…” Alec thought for a while “no Mags…I’ll stay home…I’ll come to work from Monday…”

Magnus nodded.

After finishing dinner Magnus cleaned the kitchen and Alec helped him with the dishes.

“Let’s go to bed” Alec said hugging Magnus from the back and kissing him on the cheek.

“Let’s go…” Magnus said and they walked to their room hand in hand.

Alec who has already had a shower was waiting for Magnus in bed. As soon as Magnus got to bed Alec wrapped his arms around Magnus and hugged him tight.

“Mags, can I ask you something?”

“Yes baby?” 

“Did you not like me for the last few days?”

Magnus turned himself to face Alec still wrapped in his arms.

“Why would you ask that baby?” Magnus asked tracing Alec’s eyebrows with his thumb.

“No it’s just that…I knew I was acting different and I don’t know…I felt like you were distancing yourself…”

“Baby…no…I would never distance myself from you…true that you were acting high for a few days…but I noticed the difference because you were distancing yourself from me…and I understood that it was a side effect from the drug…”

“I’m so sorryyy Mags…if I hurt you…” Alec said touching his forehead to Magnus’s.

“You don’t have to be baby…I’m totally fine…and I promise you I’ll never ever ever leave your side no matter what happens…no matter how hard you push me away…I’ll always come back to you…” Magnus said laying a kiss on Alec’s lips.

“I promise you too Mags…that I will never leave your side no matter how hard it gets…” Alec said tightening his arms around Magnus and hugging him tightly. Then Alec placed a soft kiss on Magnus’s forehead and traced his lips to Magnus’s eyebrows down his nose and finally to his lips. 

“I love you so much Magnus Bane” Alec said as their lips touched each other.

“I love you too Alexander Lightwood” Magnus replied kissing Alec back.

Alec rolled Magnus over and deepened the kiss while pinning one of Magnus’s hands over his head making Magnus moan with pleasure as he touched Magnus’s bare abs with his free hand.

Magnus worked his hands through Alec’s PJs removing his shirt and shorts while Alec’s hands were working on removing Magnus’s.

It was after a long while that they had their little make out sessions, their room was filled with moans of pleasure and laughter.
