Lorelei's POV

"HEY, It's been a long time." Loki said"Yes... It is." I said softly.

I adverted my eyes on him and looked back on Tita Fridge who's now looking at me.

"I'm sorry Tita. I just got busy for the past months." I said smiling at her but my other attention is in Loki who's still starring at me. He murmured a "Tsk. Busy"

What's his problem now?

Tita Fridge ignored him and lead me to the dining area to which I found their father, Sir Odinaire. We seated on our designated seats. Luthor pulled a seat for me and he is beside of his father who's in the end of the long table . In front of me is Tita Fridge, beside her is Loki. I politely greeted him with "Good evening, Sir."

"Good evening, young lady. It's nice see you again. How are you?" The man said.

"Doing fine sir." I replied.

"Just call me Tito. You're a friend of my sons and daughter of my friend. Anyway, I heard from my youngest here that you already moved out of your apartment. Is that true?" Loki's father said, the reason why I suddenly looked at my ex-roommate but I immediately tore my eyes away from him and look at his father.

"Yes sir- I mean Tito. I just thought that it would be easy for me to travel to school if my place would be near." I smiled a little to hide my slight shock.

"Hmm... Is that so? It's not about my son here?" Tita Fridge immediately butt in.

"Oh no Tita. It's not about him." I heard a little snicker in front of me.

"Really? Not about me? Then why didn't you talk to me again?"

I froze in my seat. Why does he have to say that? And in front of his family? What is he thinking?

Everyone looked at him and back at me. Like they're confused on what the heck is their son/brother talking about.

"Lori? What does he mean you're not talking to him anymore?" It's Tita Fridge who dared to ask question still with a confusion written in her face.

"It's nothing, Tita. We just had a little quarrel before I left our apartment. But I assure you that that's not the reason as to why I moved out." I let out an awkward chuckle to ease the tension.

I glanced at Luthor is just observing but I know there's a lot of question already running inside his head.

Tita must have understand the situation and convert the topic while I glared at the man in front of me and mouthed "Shut up. Will you?".

"Let's talk later." I read on his mouth before I adverted my eyes towards the others who are now busy talking about things.

Wow. He demand us to talk huh. Then let's talk to finally end this thing.

This "Last Chance" is originally just a one shot story but after days. I found myself na dinudugutungan na yung chapter lol. I'm planning to finish it as a short fan fic(?) na lang siguro.
