Halloween

As Mr Amrand keeps talking to me, my eyes went on Keifer who was completely drenched into water, this man was more interested in my personal life than his own health, go and change your clothes Watson, otherwise you'll get sick and I know when you get sick it took you ages to get well and the way you screams.

"Keifer, he's my HR Mr Keir Amrand", I said while pointing at him and then I pointed at Keifer, "he's my flat mate, Keifer Watson". I saw Keifer's expressions changed as I introduced him, was it because I said him as flat mate but what I think 'Watson' made him more upset. He left while waving towards Amrand.

Mr Amrand was in some deep thought, "Watson, Keifer... why is this name familiar?", I told him that he's one of the wealthiest families of Philippines and from the royal clan of London. He nodded, "oh yes, Keigan Watson, their new heir, and his father Kaizer I met them a few months ago for an investment". He looked towards Keifer's room, "they said the elder son died in an accident".

This thing also made me confused, Keifer told me he's the heir and needs to inherit everything and that's why he left for London but Keigan is heir now. I thought Keifer lied to me as he doesn't want me to join the Watson family but it seems like he's not with them as well. Where was he all this time and suddenly here in first year, what happened with him.

I have to confront him and at least ask him where the hell he was, after asking me not to give up he himself did not come. and now he's here hiding himself , I will not escape anymore, it's time to get the answers to questions. I had a doubt before but now I'm sure something really bad happened to him which, maybe that plane crash was the reason.

Mr Amrand snaps his finger, "by the way, I really like your determination. You're just a freshman but doing an internship already, keep it up", he kept his hand on my shoulder to praise me.

Keifer was standing nearby his room's door, he's hiding I can see his reflection in the almirah front of his room, as Mr Amrand kept his hand on my shoulder, "you're amazing", I saw change in Keifer's expressions, dark and death stare to him, it's literally pissing me off, what does this man want.

He soon came out and aside me, by holding Amrand's hand for a handshake, "nice to meet you, myself Keifer", his voice was so smooth and actions unpredictable as always, after the handshake, "Jay, your home is near to mine, pay visit any day". I nodded, though it's really odd for a boss to invite me at home.

Keifer interrupts, "is there any vacancy, I like your nature, I wanna join your office". There was a typical silence in the room, "you can submit your application and...", he nods, "oh yes, thank you". I want to kick off this jerk , he's always like this it's Alex and Yuri before and now he's even behaving crazy with my head, stop it Keifer.

His driver finally arrived and he was about to leave, "actually it might be personal but is it fine for you to share a roof with a stranger", I hesitated before answering, "ahh.. we're in the same college and also from the same city". He nods, "you can contact me whenever you've any problem", he said with a smile and left.

When he left, I closed the gate and turned around Keifer was standing there and I want answers, but before I could say anything, "so do you have to bring your office at home too", he sounded possessive, it's not new to me, if he thinks something belongs to him he'll never back off claiming it. I replied fiercely, "well, how does it matter to you?".

He just nodded, "right", he sneezed again, I offered him the left over coffee, "it's better if you take some medicine", he nodded again. "I told you that we need to talk, can we?". I didn't see any change in his expression, he just took a cup of coffee from my hands, "maybe later".

I hold his arms, "right now", I looked deep into his eyes, "you've to answer", he downs his gazes and sips from the cup, "what answer?". I smirked, the audacity of this man, he knows well what I want to know but he literally chose to play smart with me. "when will you change the room?", if you can play then I can also do the same.

I saw his gazes becoming intense on me, it hurt right? Yes it's fucking hurting Keifer, "actually I already paid two months rent Mr John will not return it, and give me some time to arrange", he was stammering, Keifer what's wrong with you? what has actually happened to you?

"Rent? why do you care about money, you're the fucking king". He gave a plain look, "it's not the same as it's before". He turned to leave.

He sneezed again, I think this is not the right time to ask him. He was literally sneezing too much and coughing as well, what if he caught a fever, but I chose to ignore and turn to my room.

He was moving towards the kitchen, while sneezing, my kind heart forced my words to come out "have you had dinner?", he denied, "I was about to cook soup", he sneezed again. "Wait, I was preparing porridge, will do it for you as well".

"You don't have to", he said, I smiled, "if it's a stranger then also I'd have done the same, cause I'm a human", and I left for kitchen. He followed me, "you used to hate the kitchen", I looked at him, "I hate you as well".

He kept standing, and when I turned on the induction and about to grab the pan he took it, "I'll do it", I got it back, "no need, just go and rest". I placed my hand on his head, "what if you get a fever". He looked at me, "I mean, you are no less than a disaster once get sick". He scoffed, "how do you know?"

I sighed, "I remember, after the annual sports day you got sick and I visited you with Aries, damn the way you're behaving", I couldn't help but laughed, "crying like a kid, and held my hand, 'mom, I miss you' and thought as if I was your mom and even hugged me".

He snorted, "you're making up things". I replied fiercely, "oh really? don't you remember Aries punching your stomach so that you leave my hand", and the next moment you were asleep for the whole day. It's after a long we talked, we literally talked after months.

It's Halloween, though I was not interested but Isla insisted a lot and I really can't say no to her. She's a girl but every time I see her, she reminds me of Ci-N, her talks are like him.

We're supposed to dress ourselves as per the theme, "Vampire's window", but I just put on a mask. The auditorium had only the first years of our department, the loud music and different kinds of vampire costumes. I nearly got terrified by seeing Isla, her lips were bright red and from the corner blood I mean red color was applied seems like it's dripping.

Thank god I realised it's fake otherwise my trauma might have got triggered and this Vampire Window soon has converted into murder house, and they'll arrest me as a serial killer. All the students collected together, "let's play something", one of them said. Everyone agrees, "so the game is like, there are two pairs of cards, who will get the same number they have to team up and do assigned tasks.

All agrees, and cards were distributed, my number was 7 I looked around who has got the same as mine, Benjamin moved towards me "is it seven in your card", he denied, "it's 4" and someone hold my hand, "mine is 7", the face was masked but I know it's Keifer, I pulled off my arm and every team stood in a circle, and one by one task chits were picked up.

Isla and her partner, Robin got the task to dance together, they both did too well, and I can see the start of something new. Soon mine and Keifer's turn came, I picked up the chit, "ask each other questions within five minutes by looking into each other's eyes, the one who doesn't answer he/ she has to drink". I agree cause I had too much to ask.

We sat against each other, looking deeper into our eyes, I could hear comments from girls, "ask him he's girlfriend", 'if not then can I have a chance", they giggled.

I can see nervousness on his face, "so first one, do you have a girlfriend?"he denied, fucking liar I know you'd many, "so any ex?",He nodded, "yes, but it's been a year of our break up", is he talking about me. "did you hurt her?"I know I was being obvious but those questions were killing me, I saw guilt in his eyes"I did and I regret",I asked, "did you apologise?", he said, "I tried but time was not in favour" Why did you hurt her?", "I had my reasons""What were the reasons?"Instead of replying he drank alcohol, the whole damn glass in one go."Will you want to get back together with her?"He again drinks"Do you think she'll forgive you".

"Time up", someone said. Keifer took a breath of relief, it's not over Watson I'll keep asking you.

It's his turn, I was ready to answer any question of him, "are you alright?", I didn't expect this question from him, I firmly nodded, "of course I'm, see sitting right in front of you". "how're you actually doing?", Didn't you think about this all when you left me behind. I nodded again, "I'm doing great"

"Keifer you're so boring", "Come on man, ask something intense", "If you can't then let me try", Keifer's gazes shifted towards the last person, he's staring at him like wanna bury him alive. Then he looked at me, I saw a smirk around his lips

"do you have a boyfriend?", Obviously not, thanks to you I don't even feel attraction towards anyone else, seems like I've become an asexual being. I wanted to make him suffer, to think about what's up with me, I chose to drink and smiled. I can see creases on his face, the class was hooting, "she must have someone", Keifer's eyes were on Benjamin, damn don't bring him in between he doesn't even know to fight.

"Anyone from college", He asked, I don't want Ben to die with the hands of Keifer, so I denied, "her HR?" he mumbled, fuck, this man is literally insane."Is he from your high school"I again took the glass and drank, letting him think he might be Yuri."how long are you in a relationship?"I drink again. "do you miss any of your ex?"I looked into his eyes, "no" and drank again, cause I was lying."Did he hurt you?"I nodded, hurt so deep that the scars still stings. "will you forgive the person who hurt you due to circumstances", I denied,"what if he did for protecting you", he was too straight, how dare him to ask this and instead of explaining here playing with me. I drank again & directly from the bottle.

He stopped me, "I'm done, don't drink too much", I ignored him, Isla took a bottle from her, "time up", anchor said, "it's fun, let's enjoy rhythms". And the music was turned on, I was not drunk yet but was gradually losing my senses.
