I'm sorry Jay, I should've explained everything to you, instead of asking things like this. But what to do, i wanna know what's going on in your heart. You didn't reply to me about having someone and the guilt of going away still killing me inside.

Robin dragged me, "we've a great singer among us, Keeper I mean Keifer, hey man please make this night worth remembering", "yes, something unreleased".

I tried to ignore them but those guys insisted a lot, "yes.. yes Mr Keeper come on", it's Jay. Her voice was a  little trembling, maybe the liquor she just consumed is now consuming her. I moved towards her, "let's go home Jay, you're drunk". She pushed me, "I wanna hear you, sing".

I took my guitar," it's been a while, I saw youI wanna stare moreLet me get lost in your eyes,And  I'm so sure"I looked into her eyes,"we might be far away,But my heart still belongs to you,I yearn to be in your embraceand feel the warmth of your safe space"

Jay's face was calm but I could see tears welling up in her eyes, my fingers were strumming cords of guitar but yearning to hold her hands and hug her tightly. My voice became heavy,"If there's still love, can I come closer,and hold you...", words got stuck into my throat.

"I was all alone, waiting for youCrying, dying and lying That I'm fine", she joined me, I saw tears dropping off her eyes, but she immediately wiped them. "Now don't you come closerBut all you left between us is just distanceStill my poor heart longed for your presence Asking everyday for just one glance".

I approached her, "Jay", everyone was looking at her, "you can sing as well Jay", "this song is unreleased still she knows the lyrics". She herself created them, you don't know how talented she's, we together won a great singing competition.

Her eyes were a little red, but her gazes were able to knock me out of this world,"There is nothing called love, It's all an illusion". I couldn't help but cut her off, "might be an illusion but something beautiful and divine Like you, like your smile, and bright like your shine"

She didn't respond but started laughing, "you're really good with your words", but she points at me, "I'll not fall for them again", she jerks her head, "no", and her voice is completely changed, "she is drunk", her friend said while holding her.

Benjamin approached, excuse me? man you have no right to move near her, I'm here to handle my girl. I blocked his way, even though I also do not have any right but I can't help she's mine and I can't shrug off this thought. I hold Jay's arm, "let's go home". Her friend stopped me, "why will she go with you?". it's not only her but every girl's eyes were holding that question and I saw sort of jealousy in the boy's behavior.

I didn't care, all I could see was Jay and her condition, "what's the difference if I took her or you", Benjmin said and tried to pull her, well there's a lot, she is my Jay- Jay and I belong to her. I tighten my grip on her, "she lives with me". And everyone looked at me with shock, I cleared my throat, "I mean we share apartment, flat mates".

I looked at her friend, "I saw her with you multiple times, didn't she told you", she looked at jay and then me, "she told me about getting a new roommate but not that you're, well myself Isla Mitchel", I nodded, "that's us, I showed her a picture of Jay with me and Aries, I'm her cousin's friend'. Her voice was calm, "I can trust you".

I saw Benjamin clenching his jaws, I don't care, I know my Jay is so beautiful and perfect that anyone can get attracted to her but I can't compromise for something which is mine. I looked at Jay, "I'll book a cab", she smiled and suddenly screamed, "no.. we'll enjoy the party". What's wrong with her, has someone got into her, "I want to dance". She got off my grip and turned on the music.

I went near her and held her hand but she swirled before and my right arm became a victim of her slap. It hurts, 'you've really got the mean right hook", she pushed me "wohoo, I want to fly", she literally grabbed the cloth covering table and tied around her neck and stood on chair, "flying Barakuda", she was about to jump but Ben was near her and stopped her, damn she kicked him, I chuckled, that man deserved it. but where did this Barakuda came from, she once showed me a picture of her acting for a school play, a demon.

"I'm flying Barakuda", she screamed and jumped over me and I grabbed her but we're on floor lying, "you cold blood, always sucking off my blood, it's my turn", she digs her face into my neck and bites me, "ahh", I groaned, she's literally a demon, and sucking off my skin.

I gently pushed her, Ben and Isla helped her get up, "she's getting violent", I nodded, "it's ok I'll handle, I've experience".

I took out my phone to call a cab, "I'll drop you guys", Ben said, I was about to deny but no it'll save my money and also I'll get to know this guy, "let's go, I said".

I carried Jay on my back. "do they know each other", "they're both so good together", "Jay is so lucky, she's amazing", I heard whisperings, well I was proud, "Jay has got both Ben and Keifer", I rolled my eyes, why Ben, just mention me for Jay. We finally left the Hall, "I'm waiting for you, you can bring your car"

I was still carrying her on my back, cause she is literally trying to fly by pushing me and piercing her nails into my skin. damn, she's raised her nails like a woman, Batman comes to the rescue. No.. no I can do it, my Jay is so amazing he'll fall for her as well. "Batman, fly me to the moon", she started singing, can she hear my inner voice. I looked at her, "you're still into them, I remember once you stole my Damian's hoodie".

She rolled her eyes, "you know it's tough for me to detach", her expressions changed from excited to dull, "either real or fictional'. What does she want to say, "I wish I could turn heartless, not to think about anyone else", her voice was serious, No Jay, stay like who you are, the reason I couldn't stop loving you.

She's slipping off and I adjusted her properly, she tightly wrapped her hands around me, "ahh", you're strangling me Jay.

She placed her head on my shoulder, touching her cheeks with mine, her warm touch it's electrifying and also comfortable, "I missed it", I gasped, she sighs and  I can feel her warm breaths on my neck, "take me home", I nodded, "yes, we're going".

Benjamin honked, after an eternity he's here, he came out and started helping Jay to get off, well who asked you to do that?

Jay shrugged him off, "I want to go home", he again pulled her, "I'm taking you". I gently put her down, "let's go Jay", and I made her sit on the backseat tying into seatbelts, what if she again becomes flying Barakuda and jumps off the car to chase the moon. I was about to sit with her, "let her rest at back", I understood he just wanted me to sit in the front seat.

The ride started with typical silence, it's only Jay in between used to scream something non practical or illogical but I was loving it cause I love her everything, even the way she launches punches at me. "you're just flat mates right?", Ben finally broke the silence. I smirked, "yes for now", his grip got tight on steering, "we were in the same HS, I'm her cousin's brother's friend".

I can see those creases on his forehead, "oh, it means you're also like her brother", oh playing with me, no way you can win this way, "well no, we were best friends, and even more than that", I replied back. He smirked, "you were, well we are best friends".

I can really see his under confident voice, and our apartment was nearby, he didn't even know her house, I guided his so called best friend. Finally we arrived, I got off and Jay knocked out by this time, I smiled by seeing her sleeping like a kid hugging her own body. I picked her up in my arms and that pest still following us, leave for God sake.

I thought he might be with us till the building, no he came till elevator then entered in it as well, "thanks for ride", he smiled, "no need, just for Jay", I'm asking you to go, but no he's stuck like a leech. Well, while entering the house, my patience broke, "you can leave", he nods ''I'll make sure she's got into the right place". I'm with her, that's right for her.

I moved towards her room, and placed her in bed, "is it her room", he looked around, "yes, mine is there", I pointed. I covered her into a blanket and we moved out of her room by closing it. He take a look around and finally left but I took his number before, of course you'd know everything about your fucking enemy.

What a relief, and I felt a vibration, it's phone buzzing in my pocket, "hello", I said without looking at it.

"Who's this, where's Jay", the person on the phone worriedly asked, oh shit it's Jay's phone and the real demon, Angelo was on line, "the number you've dialed is currently busy", and I hung up. He called again, I panicked, what to do, should I wake up Jay, I smacked myself, that will be more disastrous if he got to know she's drunk.

And an idea, once again her phone buzzed, I turned on the music and picked it up, "Jay, are you fine, why didn't you pick up my phone, who are you with", they're cousins but matches each and every trait, I changed my voice, "it's her friend, we're at Halloween party, Jay's phone is with me". He asked me to give it to Jay, "actually nothing is audible in loud music, I'll ask her to call you back", and I hung, a narrow escape.

I took a shower and heads towards my room, but chose to check on Jay for once, she's sleeping by keeping legs on pillows and head nearly hanging down the bed, "she still sleeps like this", I chuckled remembering her kicking me off the bed on our night overs, and also marks she used to give me, from punches of course.

I couldn't help but went near her and make her sleep properly, I sat beside her, "you've become more beautiful and strong", I caressed her hairs, she held my hand, "don't leave, last time you left after doing this, I won't let you go this time", was she mumbling in sleep.

She opens up her eyes, "stay here", was she awake, she sits and leans into my embrace, keeping her head on my chest, "I wish I'd have done this last time as well", and her tears were on my shirt, I teared up as well, "I wish the same".

I was about to wrap my arms around her, "can I hug you Jay, for once, can I feel your presence again around me?", my eyes were wet, breaths were heavy and I pulled her into a proper hug, still it's the same, the comfort, the solace and the relief.

I was yearning for this, I was dying for it since I opened up my eyes after two months of that tragedy. When I know I lost everything even my own identity, the first thing I wanted was you, just you Jay.

I was still hugging her, I didn't want to let her go, not then not now but to remain like this for my whole life. "my feelings never shattered for you, I never wanted to give up on you", she gasped, I heard that, yes still a hope is alive. But I'm nothing now, nothing let me build up myself again Jay and I'll fight for you.

She throws fist on my chest, "again, I'll fight.. who have seen the future fight right now, don't escape from the present". she backed off. She's right, after whatever happened, how can I really think to leave everything in the future.

She pulled my hair, "you're a jerk", well something made me smile, "profanity", our love rule. I can't wait to restore it in our former state.

But why did she call me a jerk, "you're stinking", she pointed at me, I just took a shower, it's you drunkard.. you're smelling like alcohol, "sleep for now". She got out of bed, "I need to take a shower". At this hour, she moved towards the washroom.
