Sidney & Tatum woke up, and began to get ready for school the next day. At the same time, Mary had stirred awake, realizing that she was being held in Stu's arms. He had a death grip on her, and wouldn't let go. Mary kissed his cheek, waking him up from his slumber, remind him that they had to go to school. "Come on Stu.. we gotta go. We have to pick Billy up from jail anyways." Stu groaned at this, but begrudgingly got up, while Mary began to get dressed.

Mary & Stu arrived at the jail at around 6am, heading straight to school afterwards. The trio sat in Mary's car in total silence, before Stu broke it. "Man, that could've been a lot worse." Billy glared into the back of the boy's head, being met with Mary's own glare towards him. "Shut up Stu.." Mary whipped around to look at the brown eyed boy in anger.

"You shut up Billy. If you hadn't decided to be a hero of some kind, you wouldn't be a suspect of a murder." She hit him in the stomach causing him to groan, while Stu smiled at her. "He is the murderer after all Bloody Mary." Stu chuckled. Mary hit him in the stomach too. "That's not the point, we all are guilty, and I don't know about you two, but I'd rather not be in jail." Mary said angrily.

-Back to Sidney-

Sidney's name is heard from the television, where she and everyone else in the kitchen look up to watch it. "Sidney Prescott & Mary Prescott who escaped a vicious attack last night were the daughters of Maureen Prescott who was brutally murdered last year when convicted murderer Cotton Weary broke into their home and savagely raped & tortured the deceased. Cotton Weary is currently awaiting appeal for the death sentence handed down after the young Sidney testified against him. She was the key witness -" Sidney looked away from the television and at her cereal in front of her. "It's never going to stop is it.." She said looking down. Dewey, who was on the phone in the other room came back.

"Billy was released. His cellular bill was clean. He didn't make those calls." Dewey sat down beside the two girls. Sidney took in a sharp breathe, and Tatum grabbed her hand. "Somebody called me Dewey.. I'm not making that up." Dewey shook his head, letting her know that he didn't think she was.

"I know. We're checking every cellular account in the county. Any calls made to you and Casey Becker are being cross referenced." Sidney looked at him, and asked about her dad. He simply shook his head to say that they hadn't found anything. Tatum and Sidney got in the car to head to school, where they were met with Stu and Mary. The two had came with Billy, who vastly made his way into the school to avoid any eyes and ears.

Reporters were lined the front of the school, and began to crowd Mary on her way in asking her questions. "Back the fuck off people!" She looked up and saw Stu, his arm wrapped around her guiding her into the school. She took a deep breathe and they both made their way to class. Meanwhile, a news reporter van pulled up behind Sidney and Tatum who were talking, and watched Gale Weathers come out. Tatum looped her arm with Sidney, and tried to pull her to class. Sidney pulled her arm away, "Just a sec. I need to talk to someone." Mary, watching from a distance saw her sister put her head down to avoid the eyes of everyone, as she made her way to Gale.

Gale spotted Sidney immediately and got up from her seat, and pointed a finger at Sidney. "Stop right there." Sidney put her hands up in an surrender, basically waving a white flag in front of her. Mary couldn't hear the rest of the conversation, but she saw Sidney walk away in anger. She turned around to meet up with Stu and Tatum for class.

Later on in between classes, Sidney, Tatum, Stu and Mary were walking together in the hall. Billy had tried to get Sidney to talk to him earlier in the day. Suddenly, two people dressed in a ghost face costume began running down the halls, causing Sidney to jump in fear against the lockers. Mary eyed her sister in fake worry, and then sent a look over to Stu, that said that they had succeeded on getting her on her toes. "Why are they doing this?" Sidney said her voice shaking.

Stu was jumping up in excitement and looked at her "Are you kidding? This is like christmas!" Sidney & Tatum looked at him in disbelief, while Mary punched him in the side. Stu winced in pain, "easy Mary.." Mary rolled her eyes at the boy in question. "You open your mouth, and stupidity pours out." Sidney gets upset and begins leaving, with Tatum at her side. Mary slams her locker shut, getting ready for the bell, and Stu issues a quiet "sorry" to the girl next to him. She faintly smiles, as they both walk to class.

Sidney, who was running off to class slammed right into Billy's chest in surprise. They collided hard, catching Sidney off guard and scaring her. "Hey, hey.. it's just me." Billy's smooth voice came out, he grabbed her arms, and Sidney pulled away from him quickly.

"What.. you don't still think it's me?" Sidney's breathe catches in her throat, which earns a subtle eye roll from Billy. After a moment, Sidney responds to the charming boy in front of her. "No..no. its just.. oh god someone tried to kill us last night Billy" Sidney's voice was quivering and Billy was quick to move forward, causing her to move back. "I know.. the police said I scared him off. It wasn't me." Sidney nodded at the boy.

"I know that..he called again last night while I was at Tatum's." Billy sighed and looked at the ground and nodded his head before looking up. "See. It couldn't have been me.. I was in jail.. remember?" He held out his hand to show the ink residue present from having his fingerprints taken last night. Sidney pulled a hand through her hair before looking at him. "I'm so sorry Billy.. please understand"

Billy scoffed at the girl. "Understand what? That I have a girlfriend who would rather accuse me of being a psychopathic killer than touch me." Sidney looked at him blankly.

"You know that's not true." Billy looked at her, doubtfully, trying to find a way to diffuse the situation he accidentally caused last night. "Did I do something..?" Billy looked at her with a pleading look in his eyes. Sidney shook her head at him.

"No, it's me. I'm still adjusting to my mom.. I need time." Sidney looked down, and back up quickly when she heard Billy begin to talk. "It's been a year Sid.. Mary's healed.. It's time to move on." Sidney looked at him with disbelief. How could he bring that up? Billy simply continued on his rant, him being frustrated and unable to filter himself. "When are you gonna let it go Sid? When my mom left my dad, I just accepted it. She's not coming back." Sidney shook her head in fury at her boyfriend.

"Your parents split up. It's not the same thing. Your mom left town, she's not in a coffin somewhere." Sidney sharply and quietly yelled at the boy. Sidney starts to walk away, before turning back to the charming boy. "I'm glad to know you're coping so well with life Billy, But some of us aren't perfect. Some of us are trying to hold on, and I'm sorry that I don't fit in to your perfect agenda." Billy called after her as she left. "Sid! No one said that!" He threw his hands up to his face in frustration. "Stupid.." Billy was frustrated and made his way back to class, waiting to hear how Mary's part of todays plan was gonna go.
