Chapter XV- 𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔

Eren POV

I was dreading this day so badly. I can't wear a onesie what the heck. I'll just tell Mikasa no.

𝑌𝑒𝑎 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑛𝑜- 𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡   𝑆ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑐𝑒 𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑟 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔.

Then at that moment a picture of a murderous Mikasa popped into my head.

𝑁𝑜𝑝𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑑, 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑑𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡.

I sighed and was about to enter my bathroom when I heard the doorbell ring. I walked downstairs and to the entrance door. I didn't bother looking through the peep hole and opened the door fully. The one person I didn't want to see right now was infront of me.

Mikasa.

"𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧."-Mikasa beamed as she held something in her hands

"𝐇𝐞𝐲.."-I said unintrested

"𝐈 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐞."-Mikasa said and entered my house without permisson.

𝑂ℎ 𝐺𝑜𝑑 𝑛𝑜

She opened it up and showed it to me. It was too cute.

"𝐓𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐧."-She told me as she gave me the onesie and pushed me upstairs.

She pushed me into my room and closed the door.

"𝐈'𝐦 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠."-She sang

I sighed once again and couldn't help but smile to myself. Mikasa was definitely different from other girls. A lot of the girls would just start randomly confessing to me even thought I didn't even know them personally, I really thought Mikasa would be just like them but I was wrong.

I zipped up the onesie and looked in my mirror and chuckled. I went to the door and opened it slightly.

"𝐈'𝐦 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞."-I said in my usual monotone voice

"𝐎𝐤 𝐨𝐤 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐞!"-Mikasa exclaimed

I stepped out of my room and went downstairs and Mikasa could only stare at me, speechless.

"𝐃𝐨 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝?"-I asked her

She burst into laughter and ran up to me and hugged me.

"𝐍𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫!"-She said as she hugged me

"𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟𝐟."-I told her because I wasn't used to the whole hugging thing yet

"𝐎𝐡 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲."-She said as she scratched her nape.

There was awkward silence for a moment, it was getting weird so I broke the silence.

"𝐔𝐡 𝐬𝐨, 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐈 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬."-I said with my nonchalant face

"𝐎𝐤."-She said and sat on the couch fidgeting with her fingers.

I walked up the stairs and shut the door behind me a little too hard. I cringed at the loud bang. I took off my clothes, turned on the shower head and stepped into the shower. _____________________________

Once I finished, I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my waist. As I was getting dressed, in the corner of my eye I could see the honed razor sitting on my desk, I felt a wave of guilt wash over me. I was disgusted about myself, that I could do such a thing. I took the razor and threw it in the bin.

No.More.Cutting.

I sighed and zipped up the onesie once again, grabbed my bag and wore some shoes and went downstairs. I saw Mikasa on her phone scrolling on Instagram I suppose. I went to the kitchen and made some toast Once I finished the toast, I got up from the island chair and approached Mikasa.

"𝐀𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐠𝐨."-I said in a dreary tone

She got up and we left my house. We we're getting closer and closer to the school as I dreading to see everyone. We made it to the front of the school and people we're already staring in shock.

I glared at them put my hands in the pockets of the onesie.

"𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧."-Mikasa scolded me.

"𝐘𝐞𝐚 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫."-I snapped back

She rolled her eyes and we entered the school, almost everyone was wearing pajamas, but I guesd they we're just shocked to me in a onesie. I saw Armin and Connie leaning against the locker. Armin was wearing a unicorn onesie we mentioned last night and Connie was wearing a panda onesie matching with Sasha. I looked to my right and saw Mikasa, I didn't even realise she was wearing one too.

𝑊𝑎𝑖𝑡....

𝑊𝑒'𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒!

𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙, 𝑖𝑡𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑏𝑎𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ 𝐼 𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑠

"𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧."-Connie said as he stood up right.

"𝐇𝐞𝐲."-I said

Mikasa laughed when she saw Armin and I chuckled.

"𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐞."-Mikasa beamed as she poked Armin

"𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩."-Armin snapped back

Mikasa left and went to Annie and Ymir.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞?"-I asked

"𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐞"-He responded

"𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐞."-Armin added

Connie looked at me up and down and raised an eyebrow.

"𝐎𝐤 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭?"-I asked annoyed

I hated it when people did that stuff to me.

"𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭."-Connie said with a smirk

"𝐍𝐨 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧'𝐭."-I said in a cold voice

"𝐘𝐞𝐚 𝐨𝐤."-He replied_________________________

It was lunch and I was heading to the cafeteria with Armin beside me. We walked through the empty corridors but heard someone struggling, I quickly recognized the person.

"𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠?"-I asked trying not to laugh

Her hair was stuck in the locker and was trying so hard to get it out.She stopped trying and gave me the 'seriously' look.

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞?"-She glared at me

𝑂ℎ 𝑚𝑦 𝐺𝑜𝑑

"𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚"-I told him.

He nodded and left

"𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩."-I said removing her hands from her raven hair.

I opened the locker door and she tried to pull away but a few strands we're stuck in the little peep holes of the locker. I started to remove the strands one by one. Once I finished Mikasa stepped back and ran her hands through her hair.

"𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫."-She muttered

"𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭?"-I suggested

"𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝?"- She asked

I nodded and she smiled at me.

Her smile was so bright and beautiful, almost as beautiful as my mom's. Her beautiful onyx eyes and sleek raven hair. I smiled back at her and we walked to the cafeteria.____________________________

I walked out of school of the school exit to see find Armin waiting on the steps for me. Normally I would walk with Mikasa but she left early for some reason. I also thought this was the perfect time to tell Armin what has been happening to me.

"𝐘𝐨."-Armin said as he looked up from his phone

"𝐇𝐞𝐲."-I greeted

We walked down the steps and started our journey home and I spoke up.

"𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧"- I said

"𝐇𝐦?"-Armin hummed

" 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐈'𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚, 𝐈 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐛 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥?"-I asked him genuinely worried something was wrong with me.

He stopped in hsi tracks ans paused before bursting into laughter. He leaned on a fence and wouldn't stop laughing. It kept going on and on until I got sick of it.

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫?"-I asked him angrily

He calmed down a bit and inhaled and exhaled bwfore looking back up to me.

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧.. 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐛 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝."-He said

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭?"-I asked him in a confused manner

"𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬... 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭, 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧."-Armin explained

I scoffed and now I was the one laughing.

"𝐌𝐞? 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚, 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞."- I snapped back

𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝐼 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑀𝑖𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑎?

"𝐒𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧"𝐭?"-Armin asked me

"𝐘𝐞𝐚 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭."- I responded

"𝐎𝐤."- Armin said

We continued our walk in silence, Armin was whisteling for some reason and I was just lost in mt own thought and then  we came to an intersection where we would seperate. I was about to say bye but then Armin spoke up.

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧."-Armin started

"𝐇𝐦?"- I said

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚?"-He asked and faced me

"𝐘𝐞𝐚."-I said as I nodded

"𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐝."-He finished_________________________
