Chapter XIV- 𝐶𝑎𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡

Not me updating again today to distract myself from the last chapter of aot, bruh I can't, tears are literally threatening to fall I can't handle it so please enjoy this chapter and when I publish it, i'll probably be crying after so you're welcome 🙂__________________________________

Author POV

It was the next day and everyone was still asleep. Sasha was sleeping with Connie, Armin was sleeping with Annie, Marco, Jean, Reiner and bertholdt we're huddled up together snorning loudly, Historia was sleeping on Ymir's arm and Mikasa was still laying on Eren.

Sasha who is known for her love for food and her good hearing,heard the sound of a cricket outside in her backyard which woke her up. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around and noticed she was on top of Connie. She felt the heat rise to her cheeks as she slowly got off him, not wanting to wake him up. In the corner of her eye, she saw Mikasa and Eren sleeping together and then an idea popped up in her head and a smirk grew on her face. She quietly woke everyone up, starting with Connie.

"𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞, 𝐩𝐬𝐬𝐭, 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩."-Sasha said as she gently shook Connie

Connie groaned and opened his eyes, he was about to say something but Sasha covered his mouth and pointed at Eren and Mikasa. Connie turned and his eyes widened. The two then woke up everyone else.

Eren POV

I could feel something moving on my chest, I slowly opened my eyes to find a snoring Mikasa, then all the things that happened yesterday flooded my mind. I slightly smiled at the thought but quickly narrowed my eyes as I saw the rest of the gang "sleeping."

I gently pushed Mikasa off of me and made her lie down on her side and I stood up, I eyed everyone who was "sleeping" and approached Reiner. I started down at him and kicked him in his back.

"𝐎𝐖!"-Reiner complained as he rubbed his back

Everyone bursted into a fit of laughter except for Sasha. I walked over to her and crouched down and put my hand out and she shook her head.

"𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐰."-I demanded with my monotone voice.

She sighed and put her phone in my hands. I looked through the pictures she took of Mikasa and I sleeping.

𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑐𝑘?- 𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡

I quickly deleted all of them then handed her phone back.

She groaned when she saw that I deleted her oh so precious pictures. I walked to the bathroom and looked at my reflection. My hair was disheveled, bags under my eyes due to the lack of sleep. I yawned and was about to leave but then I bumped into a raven haired girl.

"𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐝."-I complained

"𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲."-Was all she could say

She still looked really tired, she had bed hair and was rubbing her eyes and honestly she looked really cute.

𝑊𝑎𝑖𝑡 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑙- 𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡

𝐼 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑠𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑎 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔.

"𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐤."-I assured her and patted her head before leaving the bathroom.__________________________________

I was at my brother's music studio. He was a popular musician, he always had a passion for baseball but that dream never came true and later found passion for music when he was around 18. I sat in a chair as I listened to him singing a song he recently made, it was really good.

He finished and one of the guys gave him a thumbs up. Zeke left the recording studio and approached me. He sat on the counter and grabbed his water bottle.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞."-Zeke said and took a sip from his water.

I shook my head. Although music was what I wanted to do when I was younger, but now I just want to become a doctor. I've always liked helping people, but my stubborn self would do the opposite but that stopped when I met Mikasa. My parents death was even more reason to become a doctor. The idea of being a doctor was really nice, I always loved working with my dad when he did experiments.

"𝐍𝐚𝐡, 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫."-I said

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐈 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬."-Zeke said and continued to drink from him bottle.

After an hour or so I left, I walked all the way back home and entered my room. I was reading manga called Attack on Giants and I was on the last chapter, 139. That was when my phone rang, I picked it up and saw that it was Mikasa that called.

I picked up the call and placed the phone near my ear.

"𝐇𝐞𝐲?"-I spoke first

"𝐇𝐢𝐢!"-Mikasa beamed from the other end

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝?"- I asked her

"𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬?"-She asked me

I was in a state of turmoil but thats when it hit me.

"𝐍𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭."-I said plainly

"𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮!"-She exclaimed

"𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚..."-I said

It felt like she stopped breathing after I called her Mika. Shoot I called her Mika, what the hell is Mika? I'm so stupid.

"𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨?"-I asked

"𝐎-𝐨𝐡 𝐮𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄!"-She yelled through the phone.

I sighed

"𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞."-I coldly said

I could hear her squeeling from the other end. I smiled at her sound of joy.

"𝐎𝐤 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧."-She said and hanged up

Honestly I wanted to talk to her a bit more but she's probably busy so I let her be. Only a few moments later did I realize what I got myself into.

𝑊𝑎𝑖𝑡 𝐼'𝑚 𝑤𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎 𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑒 𝑡𝑜𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑜𝑤.

𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑡𝑠 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑒𝑛 𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟𝑟𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔.

I picked up my phone and called Armin, he immediately picked up and didn't even give me the chance to speak my mind.

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧, 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞."-Armin begged

"𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬."-I explained

There was a long pause and then Armin broke it.

"𝐖𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐞?"-He asked in a monotone voice

"𝐘𝐞𝐩."- I replied_________________________________
