Chapter 29

I feel soft kisses all over my face. "Ah. It worked, good morning baby." Lando says softly, proud that he woke me up. "You woke me up. You're horrible." I say with a small smile. He tightens his grip, pulling me closer to him. "You don't mean that." He says with a smile. "Of course I don't, you dork." I say and give him a quick kiss before getting up. "Come. We didn't go for a run yesterday but we need to today. Let's go." I say and he slowly climbs out of bed.

We run for about an hour and a half around the vineyards and even went up the one mountain. Which is where we are currently. "Wow the view is gorgeous." I hear Lando say from ahead me. "Yes it it. You can see all of the neighbors farms from here too." I say and wrap my arms around his shoulders from behind. Not caring that we are both sweaty. The wind begins to pick up. "This winter breeze is going to be the death of me. Let's get back and cuddle some warmth back into our bodies." Lando says which makes me laugh. We make our way back down the mountain and back towards the house.

"I'm going to shower first and then you can." I say to him. "Or we could shower together." Lando suggests as we walk down the corridor after passing everyone in the lounge. "I don't think that's a great idea." I say, not really feeling comfortable. "Come on. It will be fun." He says. I think for a little, the house is very big and the living room is on the other side from the bathroom so if something did happen, which it won't, nobody would hear us. "Ok, but no funny business. My family is here." I say, giving up."No funny business. Got it." Lando goes into our room and I get into the shower and start it before I hear the door open and close.

A few moments later a pair of arms snake their way around my waist. "You are so gorgeous." He whispers into my ear, causing goosebumps which he laughs at. "Oh you think that funny don't you?" I ask turning around. A cheeky smile appears on his face. "Don't get any ideas." I say laughing at his actions.

"There is something I have always wanted to do. Come here." I say and push him under the water. "Wha-" he questions before I start running my fingers through his gorgeous curls. I can see he is enjoying it as he closes his eyes. I grab some shampoo and continue running my hands through his hair, massaging his head. I tug on his hair to see his reaction. He lets out a small moan, which makes me giggle.

He opens his eyes. "Hey, let me do it to you and we will see how long you last." He says cockily. "Ok, bet." I say and turn around facing my back to him, my hair already wet. He works his fingers through my long hair. I close my eyes, loving the feeling. He slowly moves from massaging my head to massaging my neck and shoulders. "Ooh that feels nice." I say as I feel the tension melt away. I feel him begin to kiss my neck. He finds a certain spot on my neck and without thinking, I let out a small moan. "Haha. I got you." He says proudly, pulling away. "Hey, that's cheating." I say, acting upset but it's really because I missed his touch. "Aww you're too cute. But I had to stop cause you said no funny business." He said cockily before washing the last few suds out of his hair and stepping out the shower. I hastily follow him, feeling needy for his attention for some reason.

I steal Lando's Mclaren hoodie that he packed and throw it on before moving to the bathroom to cover the hickey he gave me in the shower. "Hey babe! Have you seen my- nevermind." Lando says walking into the bathroom and spotting me in his Mclaren hoodie. "I like wearing your hoodie. But if you want it back I'll grab one of my ones." I say genuinely. He looks at me as if he just melted inside. "No baby. Keep it. You look so hot in the Mclaren colors anyways." He says and gives me a sweet kiss before walking out the bathroom. "Not sure Christian would be too happy about you wearing that." Lando says as he walks away. I laugh as I finish covering the hickey. It almost looks like nothing is there. I grab Lando's hand and walk to the kitchen to make some tea.

We walk into the living room and Lando sits down on the empty single seater couch and I sit on his lap. We drink our tea, trying to catch up on the conversation currently going on between my family members. "So you two. Tell us about all your travels and races." My uncle says and everyone turns to us.

"Well so far both of us have had a great season. With us currently 5th and 6th in the drivers championship. The press does keep pestering me with the same questions all the time though. Yes, it is great that I am the first female F1 driver in many many years. Yes, it is incredible how I was able to move into the Red Bull team. It's always those questions." I say with a small laugh as others around the room laugh too. "But It's amazing, being able to travel around the world with her, exploring the world together. We try too keep our relationship out of the paddock as much as possible though." Lando continues. "I can imagine being in a relationship off track and being rivals on track must be difficult." My aunt says. "Yeah but we have managed it so far." Lando say looking at me with a small smile which I return. "Yes. We have seen some amazing parts of the world together." I say leaning back into Lando's chest and he wraps his arms around my torso.

"Do you have any stories from other seasons, Lando?" My mom asks and Lando's eyes light up and he begins to tell a story about him, George and Alex from last season.
