Chapter 25

"Louis can we stop ? I'm exhausted.."I said, sitting on a rock.

We had been trying to find a road but we only seemed to find more woods...it was a never ending forest..

"I was sure the road was this way..."Louis said, looking around for any sign of life.

"I'm assuming you were never a boy scout.."I said, thinking those skills be useful about now.

"Nope...i played in the mud alot and was always getting lost."Louis replied, I laughed at his response.

We looked around and could only see that it was getting cloudy, a storm ? Great just what we need right now ..

Thunder sounded in the distance, getting louder with each bolt of lightening.

"Uh...Louis ? I think we should find shelter.."I said, my voice shaking.

Since I was a little girl I was afraid of thunder. I know it's silly but I had a bad childhood experience with it .

"Come on, there's a small cove right there."Louis said, pulling me along.

Once we were inside, I started to relax. It couldn't get me from in here... I sat down on the cold ground cradling my knees.

"You ok ?"Louis asked, sitting next to me on the ground.

"Yeah...just cold.."I replied, I wish I had brought my sweater..

Louis took off the zip up hoodie he was wearing and handed it to me.

"What are you doing ?"I asked confused.

"I want you to wear this to stay warm."Louis said, putting the hoodie over my shoulders.

"Aren't you gonna be cold ?" I asked, he shook his head.

"I'm fine, just wear it for me ok ?"Louis said, I smiled and excepted his gesture.

I never thought I'd actually like one of my captors...i mean he was never mean to me like the others were..

He was different..*************
