Chapter 26

-Chief Daniel's P.O.V-

The area was now surrounded by cop cars and police dogs helped search the entire area.

Chief Daniel's was not gonna leave a leaf unturned. His daughter was out there and so was two of her captors. As long as they weren't in custody, she's in danger.

"Find anything ?" He asked, the officers shook there heads.

He rushed up to one of the officers with a dog and hands him his daughter's sweater which was found inside.

"Find my daughter, this should help."Chief Daniels said, the officer nodded his head.

"We'll do our best sir."He replied.

They headed off along with a couple other dogs. Chief Daniel's never had anything this big go on in years and it had to involve his only child.

"Chief, you okay ?"Officer Hanes asked,with concern on his face.

"I will be once we find my daughter."He replied as they walked through the brush.

Chief Daniel's couldn't just sit around giving orders, he needed to be searching for her.

"Don't worry Chief, we will find her. She's smart, she knows what to do."Officer Hanes said.

He was right, she knew how to survive. He only hoped she was still free and not in the hands of her captors.

"Chief."Officer Kane said, running up to him.

"What is it ?"He asked the out of breath officer.

"We found Zayn but he bolted, by the time we caught up to him, he had stolen a passerbys car and drove off."Officer Kane said.

So he was running scared, that was no surprise.

"Did you see my Daughter ?"He asked, he shook his head.

"No, I didn't see her or the other member. "Officer Kane replied."But we're getting the information on the car that was stolen right now. So if he turns up, We'll know."

"Okay, we're focusing on finding my daughter, after she's found. We go after Zayn."He stated.

This been a long day, he just wanted it to be over..
