Chapter 24

-Chief Daniel's P.O.V-

As they arrived to the next cabin, a figure bolts out from inside,  running into the woods. 2 cops immiediatly chase after them.

"Don't let him get away !"Chief Daniel's said.

They searched the cabin to find nothing but what they left behind. Drugs and cash stood on the table.

"Where's Hanes ?"He asked, just as Officer Hanes arrived inside.

"I was just about to arrive when you guys raided the place. Did you catch him ?"Officer Hanes asked.

Chief Daniel's shook his head, only one was seen fleeing the place. Where were the other 2 ?

Just as he was thinking, a ruckus came from outside. They rushed outside to find the 2 cops had caught one of the gang members.

Liam.

"He was heading back, didn't see us coming. Maybe he knows where the other 2 are."Officer Kane said.

Liam did not look at all happy after being caught. Would he say anything ?

"Where's my daughter Liam ?"Chief Daniel's demanded, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt.

"Why should I tell you ?"Liam asked, that was enough to send smoke out of the chief's ears.

He pulls out his gun and points it at Liam, his finger on the trigger.

"Because I'm holding a gun to your head. Don't think I won't pull the trigger."Chief Daniel's said.

Liam's eyes were wide, he had never been held at gunpoint before. He always had the gun.

"Chief, calm down."Officer Hanes said,putting his hand on his shoulder.

"Tell me and I will let you live."He demanded.

"I don't know, she escaped. Me and Louis went out looking for her but I didn't find her I swear."Liam said.

Guns always helped with coaxing people to tell the truth.

"Where's Louis and Zayn ?"Chief Daniel's asked.

"I don't know. Louis is probably still looking for her. He went that way. "Liam said, pointing north."I don't know where Zayn is."

Chief Daniel's pulled the gun away and allowed the officer to take him away. He was glad his daughter got away but where was she ?

"I need officers to comb the woods now ! My daughter is out there and probably in danger. Let's move."Chief Daniel's shouted.
