Chapter 5

19:04, 3 July 2015

"Audrey, are you okay?" Caitlin concerned asked the second I shut the door. "Yes, why wouldn't I be okay?" I asked suspicious. Why would she be concerned? Unless she knew what happened, there was nothing she could be concerned about. "I don't know." Caitlin said, she bit her lip, something she only did when she was hiding something. "Nothing to worry about, I'm just having a quick shower and then I'm going to bed." I told her. "Goodnight." She said and I smiled at her. I stood still in the shower, looking at how the water streamed over my hands. Those hands touched the Flash. Only the thought of the Flash made me feel pressure on my chest. But I didn't know or it was a positive of negative way. Yes, he scared me. But I felt disappointed when I saw he wasn't in Jitters anymore. I placed my hands on my belly and took a few deep breaths. I stepped out of the shower and looked at my reflection in the mirror. My face was extremely pale, maybe that was why Caitlin was so worried.

I lied in bed, but I couldn't sleep. Every time I closed my eyes I saw the Flash. It was like I could still feel his hand on my face. I repeated the evening in my head till I felt asleep. But that wasn't better.

"Who are you?" I screamed, rain was pouring down my face. "I can't tell you." He said, his voice calm and clear. "You have to find it out by yourself." He said, it sounded like he was teasing me. I walked closer. His face was still a blur. "Just tell me what to do." I whispered.

I opened my eyes. It was 7. P.M, I walked to the kitchen. I opened the fridge. There were eggs and bacon so I walked to the stove. Caitlin let me stay without asking anything back. So I decided to make her breakfast. "What smells so good?" A sleepy Caitlin asked. "Your breakfast." I replied. She smiled and sat down. I gave her a plate with the eggs and bacon. "Thanks." She smiled and started eating. "I'm going to buy Christmas presents today." I excitedly told her. "What are you gonna buy for me?" She asked teasing. "It's a secret." I said, sticking my tongue out. "Audrey?" Caitlin asked a few minutes later. I looked at her questioning. "I want to have some friend over tonight. Can you cook for us?" She asked. "You have friends?" I asked quasi surprised and I gasped. "I'm joking, of course I'll cook for you." I said.

"How long do I have before they come?" I asked, putting my bags with presents on the ground. "One hour." Caitlin told me. "You need to put something else on." She told me. I sighed. I walked to my room and took a dark green v-neck sweater. I took of my grey hoodie. And put on the sweater. I kept my licht jeans on. I brushed my hair and did some make-up on. I knew Caitlin would send me back to my room if I didn't. "Am I pretty now?" I jokingly asked when I was in the kitchen. "Yes." Caitlin said. I smiled and started cooking.
