Jungkook's POV

"Riya, what are you doing? Leave me," I said angrily.

"No, Jeon. I know you love Y/N, but she doesn't love you back. Try to understand. I'm here to comfort you," Riya said, looking into my eyes with fake concern.

"Jeon, let's sit there," she said, pointing to a table.

I didn't respond, but I followed her silently. Once we sat, she pulled out her phone and showed me a picture—Y/N hugging a boy.

My blood boiled instantly.

"See? That's Y/N's boyfriend—the one she loves a lot," Riya said.

I stared at the photo, fists clenching. "Since when... since when are they in a relationship?" I asked, trying hard to stay calm.

"It's been two years. She loves him a lot," Riya said. "But Jeon... even I have feelings for you."

I looked at her sharply.

"Riya... right now, I don't have any feelings for you, so please—" Before I could finish, she cut me off.

"At least we can be good friends."

I was shocked for a moment... but slowly nodded. She immediately brightened with happiness.

"Okay, wait here. I'll bring some coffee," Riya said and stood up.

I just nodded again. I didn't know why... but she seemed to care a lot. I could see something in her eyes—something like affection. And I didn't know what was happening to me. I was lost in thoughts when her voice snapped me back.

"Jeon, where are you lost?" Riya asked.

"No... nothing," I said.

Y/N's POV

We reached home, and I was honestly happy—because they allowed me to continue college even after marriage. Wow... I was really happy.

"Y/N, how were they?" Mom asked.

"They were very good! And Mom... you know what? They said I can continue university even after marriage!" I said excitedly.

Mom smiled softly. "I'm glad you're happy."

"Okay, Mom, I'm going to my room. I'm very tired," I said and walked upstairs.

After freshening up, I decided to call Lisa. And yes—she picked up instantly.
