Next Day — Y/N's POV

I woke up, took a warm shower, finished my morning routine, and headed downstairs to look for Mom.

At the Kitchen

When I entered the kitchen, I saw Mom cooking. Without thinking, I rushed toward her and wrapped my arms around her from behind.

"Good morning, Mom," I said softly.

"Good morning, sweetheart. Did you sleep well?" she asked, turning slightly.

"Yes... but why are you making breakfast? You should be resting," I said.

"How can I rest? I came to meet my daughter after so long. Can't I cook your favorite food?" she said with a smile.

"Mom... you're making tteokbokki?" I asked, eyes shining.

"Of course, my darling," she said lovingly.

"Thank you so much, Mom. I really missed your food... I love you," I said, hugging her again.

After that, we all sat down—Mom, Dad, and I—and had breakfast together. We talked about random things, laughed a little... until Mom suddenly changed the topic.

"I have found a boy for Y/N," she said calmly.

"What? Really? When will we meet them?" Dad asked immediately.

My smile faded.

"Mom, Dad... please. I don't want to get married," I said, trying my best to stay calm.

"You need to get married, Y/N. And I've found a good boy for you," Mom said firmly.

"Yes, your mom is right," Dad added.

Suddenly, Mom's phone rang. She looked at the caller ID—and her face lit up with happiness.

"Wait for a few minutes," she said before stepping aside to answer the call.

Y/N's POV

We were talking peacefully, and suddenly Mom got a call from someone. She looked so happy... I glanced at Dad, hoping he knew what was going on, but he looked just as confused as me.
