Chapter- Twenty nine

You were watching television aimlessly sitting in sofa of living room. Vernon was eating an apple sitting in the mat near the small table. He seems so attentive cutting the apple.

Between eating apple he was also reading something peacefully.

You thought not to disturb him but asking something but it looked so cute the way he was eating apple and reading book. He usually doesn't seem reading books that much.

The were changing the channels in tv and the volume kept rising up and down which made peaceful vernon quite pissed off that he had to look at you like this.

Overall he was trying to read a book. And you were lazily looking at tv while laying down on sofa, what a lazy person! He thinks!!!

'What?'

You looked at him stroking your scalp, it's itchy maybe you've got Dandrops ugh!

Vernon came to his peaceful calm form again saying

'Can you make the volume down for maybe one or two?'

He told without looking at you.

You downed the volume and asked him

'Where did you get the book from?'

'It's wonwoo hyung's.'

'You got it from his library?'

'Yea.'

Then again there's peaceful vernon. It's hard to make him talk you thought. It was about 11 am. Dk's voice can be heard, he is practicing pitches maybe, every time he is practising.

Let me give you an idea how you guys live

Dokyeom jeonghan lives in the 2nd floor. The room beside that there lives Joshua and vernon.

On the 3rd floor your beloved lover lives alone in a big room and beside the room there's a spacious room. That room is for various kinda instruments, no one usually goes there. Beside the big room there's a living room like space which Wonwoo uses as the library.

On the 4th floor the8 and jun live and their room looks like apartment, it has extra kitchen too. And at a corner after passing a long corridor there's your room which has also a balcony, through which you can see the swimming pool and the mid yard of the house.

It's a U shaped building. The loop of 'U' made the space for yard and swimming pool and some more things.

In the 1st floor some of the close stuffs who you guys always need live. On the other arm of 'U' there lives Scoups woozi in one room in the 2nd floor, the room beside it is for Wonwoo and Hoshi. There is a spacious living room between the two rooms and the four use to always lay down there.

Both arms of 'U' is connected by the corridor. On the 3rd floor, beside the wide library of wonwoo, after passing a corridor, there seungkwan and dino sharing a room on the other arm.

On the other half of 'U' on the 4th floor, there live some of the female stuffs. After you room, there is a break of 'U' making you separated from the stuffs rooms. But you sometimes think you maybe should have used a room close to the stuffs or close to mingyu's when hoshi is making issues.

(Hey y/n, did you like the interior idea with seventeen? Or you wanted to be roommate with your bias? I didn't make it like this because here they are in mature relationship where they try to give each other enough space and privacy)

You guys are living under the same roof for the predebut days. But by that time the number of people were many more as trainees and you don't know how you being the only one female member here. And being the maknae, all the members take care of you. They make sure you don't feel bad staying with them. They give you the full privacy. Even when there's practice time or anything associated with work, they don't drag you or give you pressure for work. They just let you take your time and take your little nap that you use to have.

Dokyeom came to living room and sat beside you. He came and raised the volume high and were finding what show he can watch, without noticing the peaceful vernon reading.

You looked at vernon with the corner of eyes.

He made this kinda face for dokyeom but unfortunately dokyeom didn't care about this and just laughed

'Vernona let's have some fun. What about watching a movie?'

'I'm okay.'

Saying that he roamed around the living room and the dinning for little snack, you heard the sound of opening and closing the refrigerator. Joshua was arranging the dinning table with some fresh flowers. This guy is so organised, like mingyu.

'Hey y/n, did you hear today we gonna have a party from Scoups hyung?'

'What? Today?'

'Yea he just said in the evening everyone is kinda free so'

'Scoups pretending I won the finale. Come on I just am selected for that!'

'Hehe we know you gonna win!'

'He told all of us to get ready on time. He doesn't wanna make it late. We will be get going within afternoon I guess '

'Ah I see!.. scoups is so caring.'

You said as Scoups really makes you think that he is your family member. The best guy ever. You just don't admit in front of him to make it chaotic.

'I know I'm!'

Scoups showed up with handsome appearance. He maybe was going somewhere.

'Ahh you aren't. I lied.'

'I know I'm a caring person. Don't lie princess.'

He was in hurry and just left through the door exchanging some words to Joshua. Scoups looked busy then why again having party today!!

'It's so unfortunate that hyung just showed up when you were praising him. It heard unreal to me.'

Dokyeom told with his dolphin eye smile.

'Ahh yes. He shouldn't have heard.'

'You know what? Wonwoo hyung maybe doesn't know that we all are going out today, and he maybe is kinda sick. Can you go check him out and ask him about today's gathering?'

'What happens to him? I don't know.'

'It's cold just. Nothing much, he wakes up so early and sit in the yard having the very cold breeze of morning without the shirt on. Maybe that's why!'

'Oh I see. Is he in his room?'

You told standing from your place preparing to go to his room.

'Yes most probably. Request him to go with us okay? Or he would may feel alone.'

'Yes but isn't he sick kinda?'

'Not that sick, he can surely go with us.'

Dokyeom told controlling the remote, changing the channels. He looks so attentive.

After a corridor you reached wonwoo and Hoshi's room. God knows if hoshi was there. You hesitated to just go enter the room because you don't usually come to their room and they are the least members who you talk.

A pair of legs with puffy slippers were shown through the curtain of their room. Hoshi noticed it and anyone can recognize it was you. He found your feets were standing still, he found it cute that you maybe were hesitating to go into the room.

'Cleopatra! Yeah just come in.'

Hoshi's voice could be heard and you looked through the curtain making a space with your hand. You looked inside with your puppy eyes if there was only hoshi or wonwoo too. Hoshi's voice made you trembled.

It's been really so many days since hoshi last did some rough things to you, but fortune is that recently he is so busy and maybe he is trying to give attention to his works more than you. You don't wanna remember the bad side of hoshi but he makes you panic like a tiger. No other member will understand but it's only you who know who is hoshi, what does a 'tiger gaze' mean.

But peeping through the curtain, you didn't expect this. Hoshi was literally playing with bookkeu puppy with the tiger plushie of him.

You tried to hide a breathe of relief.

'Come in y/n!'

You didn't even notice wonwoo was laying down the bed for the whole time, you thought there was only hoshi that's why you were thinking you would leave then. He was laying beside hoshi where hoshi was playing with the puppy.

You startled at the deep voice of wonwoo. You didn't expect it you don't know why!

Wonwoo's eyes were looking so tired and there was Dirk circles.

Wonwoo and hoshi has their bed on the ground. You calmly went to wonwoo and sat beside Wonwoo's bed, near to his head. You didn't know exactly where to sit, then you thought you actually sat much closer to wonwoo that if he wants he can literally snake his hands around you.

You didn't know if you should sit a bit backwards from here. It was nothing to you, you generally make your friends or members feel that you are close to them so you don't show them any distance. But in case of wonwoo, as you guys aren't close, you thought if wonwoo felt you baddie.

Wonwoo found it cute that he didn't tell you to sit or something but you sat like you come to his room so often. But it's actually so rare.

'Y-Your eyes look so tired... Are you feeling well?'

You tried to talk to him by not looking at him. Your eyes were placed somewhere in his forehead or hair but you didn't have the courage to look at him directly.

You felt really bad looking at his semi sick state. He was still laying down looking at you.

'Wonwoo got cold Cleopatra. You should inform his bestie and your boyfriend as soon as possible.'

Hoshi replied.

You looked at hoshi and again at wonwoo finding that he already was looking at somewhere of your body. You felt awkward and went his eyes direction where he was looking at, you felt embarrassed thinking if everything was okay with your clothes.

Your hair were touching the floor and made their way to spread freely in the floor. That sight caught Wonwoo's attention.

'Your hair grew longer.'

It was going to be an awkward silent again but hoshi left the room while saying

'Wonwoo I'm going out to the studio. A lil job there.'

'Okay.'

'Bye Cleopatra! Mua!!'

He even did the 'mua' sign by pouting.

'Can I have bookkeu? Can you please just not take it with you?'

You told him with a cold tone. You feel so bitter talking to him.

'Haha yes.'

Saying so he freed the puppy from his embrace and bookkeu hurriedly came to you. Bookkeu is here seungkwan didn't tell you. Ahh why!!!

You took bookkeu adoring her and again looked at wonwoo. You forgot you came here for something. You found him looking at your eyes, it made you kinda nervous suddenly. You can't stand his coldness at all. Though his sharp eyes looked so tired now. It made his look more softer than ever.

You looked back to bookkeu and continued talking not wanting to make eye contact with wonwoo.

You continued slowly trying your best not to stutter.

'Everyone is going to the party in the evening. Scoups is throwing it for me. Dk told me that you were not feeling well...

You looked at him at this point and found him looking at your aimlessly. You looked back to bookkeu again and told

'You didn't tell me how are you feeling now. Is everything feeling good?'

'I'm okay. It's not severe don't worry.'

Wonwoo told not wanting to make anyone sorry. His hands are bending under his head now.

'So s-so will you go with us?'

'Ahh it doesn't matter if I go or not.'

You looked at wonwoo thinking what he meant. Is there a tone of huff in his words?

Wonwoo understood what you were thinking looking at your doe eyes.

'Haha.. I mean everyone is going. And you know I don't like partying that much.'

You didn't talk for a while and told

'You always do matter wonwoo. If you feel well enough to go out, please come with us.'

Wonwoo didn't think you could answer like that to him.

He took some time looking at the bruises on your neck as your scarf was slided. He never saw something this delicate as your skin, it literally looks like a gorgeous art to him.

'What if I don't go?'

A very unexpected thing occurred while he said so. He took some of your hair strand which were on your front, and he placed them behind your body. He did those taking time that was enough to make you shiver suddenly. It made you startled and wonwoo noticed that too.

'I.. I mean why won't you? Everyone is going.'

'Are you sure?'

You nodded.

'Okay, we will go together then.'

..

'Did you mind I touched your hair?'

He asked for confirmation as you looked feeling down till he did that.

'It's ok.'

'Then you mind because I placed your hair strand behind the way mingyu does?'

What he did was the same as mingyu. It made you feel down you don't know why.

'He does it often. But what's wrong if you do? It's ok.'

You said trying to make the atmosphere light. But wonwoo maybe wanted to mess things up with you. He told without blinking eyes

'That doesn't mean I can kiss you right? I can't really do what mingyu can. So isn't it wrong that I held your hair?'

You first enlarged your eyes thinking what he just told. Your one hand was close his body resting in the floor, you slided it on your lap looking down. It made you really sad hearing those from wonwoo. You didn't expect wonwoo can say something like this.

Wonwoo chuckled seeing you got sad after the words.

'Our maknae is confused. I joked y/n.'

But you were still sad and just nodded at his response.

'I think I need to go.'

You told calmly.
