JAERYEONG POV

Kihyun grabbed Minhyuk's neck and raised him up in the air...

My eyes widened.

"I told you that Jaeryeong belongs to me! She's my girl!" Kihyun shouted

"S-Stop it Kihyun!!" I shouted as I grabbed Kihyun's arm

Minhyuk started to cough.

"KIHYUN!!" I shouted

I noticed Kihyun's claws growing, slightly piercing Minhyuk's neck.

"No! Stop it! Minhyuk's gonna die at this rate! Let him go!" I shouted

"He attacked you!" Kihyun glared

"It was only a kiss! Don't kill him!" I cried

Kihyun dropped Minhyuk and turned to me..

"Only a kiss? Do you even know what you're saying?!" Kihyun exclaimed

I ran to Minhyuk.

"Minhyuk! Kwenchana?" I asked

Minhyuk continued to cough..

"T-That bastard.. My neck.." Minhyuk said

I noticed blood dripping down a cut in his neck..

"M-Minhyuk!" I said

"What the hell.. are you?" Minhyuk said

I looked at Kihyun..

"I told you to stop before! Why didn't you stop?! Look at Minhyuk! He's bleeding" I shouted

"...I don't understand. Why are you standing up for him and not me?! I'm saving you! He kissed you and even caused you pain in the first place so why?!" Kihyun exclaimed

"Because he's my best friend! You were about to kill my best friend!" I shouted back

"You love me don't you Jaeryeong?! So why are you siding with Minhyuk?!!" Kihyun shouted

"L-Love has nothing to do with this!" I shouted

"J-Jaeryeong.." Minhyuk called

I turned back and noticed Minhyuk becoming pale..

I touched his forehead..

What the? Was his temperature always this high?!

"Kihyun, call a doctor! No, Ambulance! Get an ambulance" I said

"SCREW THAT!! I want you to explain to me first!" Kihyun said

"KIHYUN! CALL THE AMBULANCE!" I demanded

"I DON'T UNDERSTAND! WHY ARE YOU HELPING HIM?!" Kihyun shouted

Aish!

I got out my phone and dialed the number.

"Jaeryeong!" Kihyun called

"Excuse me? My friend got injured. He has a cut on his neck and it's bleeding. He also has a fever. Neh. Please come to *****. Neh! Kamsamnida" I said as I spoke on the phone

I quickly ran inside and went in my bathroom.

"JAERYEONG!!!" Kihyun called

I grabbed a towel and wetted it.

I ran outside and placed it on Minhyuk's wound.

"LISTEN TO ME WHEN I'M TALKING!" Kihyun shouted

It's too cold out here..

His condition will worsen..

"Kihyun, help me carry him inside!" I said

"CARRY HIM YOURSELF! I HAVE NO OBLIGATION TO CARRY SOMEONE LIKE HIM!" Kihyun shouted

"KIHYUN! THIS IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH! DON'T CARE YOU IF MINHYUK DIES?!" I exclaimed

"OF COURSE NOT! WHY SHOULD I CARE?!" Kihyun shouted

"YOU SHOULD!" I shouted

"WELL I DON'T!" Kihyun said as he turned away

My chest feels painful..

Why is he acting this way?!

This is frustrating! At this very moment, Minhyuk's suffering and he doesn't care whether he dies or live!

"...You don't care.. Right. Of course you wouldn't care if a human dies. After all, you're a demon" I said

Kihyun stared at me..

"Mwoh? How could you--" Kihyun said

"Kihyun!" I interrupted

I was on the verge of tears...

I could feel the anger in my heart exploding..

I opened my mouth to continue my sentence..

This horrible sentence.. is something that should not be said..

But... before I could stop myself, it came out by itself.

"You're the worst Kihyun. I hate you" I cried

There was a silence..

I looked away..

What have I done?

How could I say that?

"I see.. Mianhe Jaeryeong" Kihyun said

My eyes widened..

Kihyun lifted Minhyuk and carried him inside, placing him on the sofa..

"Wait.. Kihyun" I said

He walked out of the door and looked at me..

I made eye contact with him.

"M-Mianhe for hurting you" Kihyun said

I saw tears dripping down his cheeks..

My eyes widened.

"W-Wait.. No. Kihyu--" I said as I grabbed his shoulder

Kihyun shook my hand off his shoulder..

"Please don't touch me.. I might hurt you. After all, I'm a demon" Kihyun said

Wings grew out from his back..

"Kihyun--" I called

He departed from the ground and flew off in a matter of seconds..

"Kihyun!!" I called

No...

How could he say that about himself?

.....No. He didn't mean to say that.

I made him say that about himself.

[You're the worst Kihyun. I hate you]

I clenched my chest..

Why?

Why did you have to say that?!

I started to cry hardly..

My heart was impaled with guilt..

It felt so hard to breathe.

Without realising my surroundings, the ambulance came and took Minhyuk to the hospital. I contacted the others talking to them about Minhyuk and Kihyun.. I didn't mention Kihyun's disappearence... I couldn't.

I stared at the unconscious Minhyuk..

"The wound wasn't that deep.. the doctor says.. so.. You'll be fine right?" I said

....Kihyun, where are you..

The doors opened..

I looked to see who it was..

"Jaeryeong! Kwenchana?" I.M asked

"What happened?" Yura asked

"Where's Kihyun?" Dani asked

Tears started to stream down..

"Guys... I've made the biggest mistake of my life.." I cried

"...Jaeryeong, let's talk.. Privately" Wonho said

Yura, Dani and I.M waited in Minhyuk's room.

Wonho and I went to the hospital's frontyard..

"Kihyun's safe.. So don't worry" Wonho said

My eyes widened.

"Do you know where he is? Please, let me meet hi--" I said

"You can't" Wonho said

I frozed..

"...Why not?" I asked

"When a demon goes through heartbreak, they go through a deep depression and it'll take quite a long time to recover.. That's what's happened to Kihyun. If he were to see you, he might lose control and.." Wonho said then paused..

"Is it...that serious?" I asked

Wonho nodded.

"Demons live for a long time so they hardly fall in love. So when they do, two options wait for them. Eternal Happiness or Endless Depression.." Wonho said

"..When will he recover?" I asked

Wonho didn't respond..

"You... should know right? Demons take a long time to recover.. and when I say long, it really mean.. Long" Wonho said

I bit my lip..

...Wait..

"This is all a misunderstanding though. If I clear things up, will he be okay?" I asked

"He might.. but if he were to see you.." Wonho said

"All these reports on demon's heartbreaks and love.. It has only occured between Demons right? And not a human and demon?" I asked

Wonho pondered for awhile.

"That's true... However, it's risky to do that--" Wonho said

"So be it. There's no way I'm giving up on Kihyun. He's hurt because I said horrible things to him.. And he also said horrible things about himself.." I said

I clenched my fists..

"I will clear up this misunderstanding.." I said

"..Alright. But how are you guys going to talk to each othe--" Wonho asked

"Use me. I'll help you two" Yura said

"Y-Yura? You were here?" I said

She smiled.

"Kihyun's my best friend. I'll do anything to help. Wonho, tell Kihyun to meet me at ***** Amusement Park. Jaeryeong, I'll tell you what to do so let me go back to your house to discuss things" Yura said

"Kumawo Yura!" I smiled

"Well, you can think of this as an apology. I did put you through trouble by kidnapping you to the demon world" Yura said

"Neh! Kumawo. I'll return you a favor!" I said

"Really? Then... I have a favor to ask you next time" Yura said

"Alright!" I smiled

Kihyun.. Please wait for me.

I want to tell you everything while I still have the chance.

I know I was selfish.. I just didn't realised how you felt because my anger clouded my thoughts..

So please..

Wait for me..

KIHYUN POV

I opened my eyes..

Hotel room?

Oh.. right.

Wonho's place..

I got up and went to the bathroom.

I looked at my red eyes in the mirror.

"Pfft. I look like a mess.." I said

I touched the mirror..

I remembered her face again..

Tears started to stream down again.

"Jaeryeong...... Jaeryeong.. I miss you.." I cried

I bumped my back onto the wall and slid down to the floor.

My heart aches so much..

Is this how you felt Jaeryeong?

I clenched my teeth and touched my chest..

"It's so painful.." I said

Someone please.. save me from this pain.

"Jaeryeong.." I cried

I felt my pocket vibrating..

I took out my phone and looked at the message..

"From Yura? Go Amusement Park? What for?" I said

Poor Kihyun.. Hope he will clear up the misunderstanding with Jaeryeong. #PrayForKiRyeong
