JAERYEONG POV

Someone please explain to me what's happening...

"Who would like to read the next paragraph?" The teacher asked

"Psst! Kihyun" I whispered

Kihyun raised his hand.

"I'll do it" Kihyun said

"Yah.." I said

Kihyun continued reading the paragraph.

"Thank you. Next person" The teacher said

"Kihyun" I whispered

Kihyun stared at the board..

"KIHYU--" I said

"Sir, I need to go toilet" Kihyun said as he stood up

"Quickly.." The teacher said

I sighed..

Ever since that day, Kihyun has been ignoring me..

He avoids my eyes and doesn't face me properly..

I sighed once again.

Also there's nothing bounding us together anymore...

FLASHBACK

"Your wish is now granted" Kihyun said

I blushed.

"S-Seriously?" I asked

"Neh. Now go to sleep. It's been a long day" Kihyun said

"Oh... O-Okay.." I said

He hasn't said a word about that topic..

I bumped my head onto the table.

"Is my wish... really granted?" I muttered

The bell rang..

"Okay, remember what was for homework and do it. You're dismissed" The teacher said

I stood up from my chair and headed out the door until someone blocked my way..

"Jaeryeong, I need to talk to you" Minhyuk said

I remember everything..

The pain.. and how tired I've become of him..

Even though he caused me those pains, he's still.. special to me.

"What is it?" I asked

"Follow me" Minhyuk said as he grabbed my hand

"Okay, we're alone. What do you want to talk about?" I asked

"It's about Kihyun and you... and me" Minhyuk said

"What about us?" I asked

"Jaeryeong, I... still love you" Minhyuk said

I flinched at those words..

I could feel anger and hatred rising in my chest..

...If I was myself back then, I would've at least slapped him but..

Because I forgot about the pain, I remembered how special he was to me before we dated..

I can't hurt him. He's my friend.

"I don't plan on giving you up. Especially, not to Kihyun" Minhyuk continued

"Mianhe Minhyuk. I.. no longer have feelings for you" I said

"Your feelings haven't fully left you Jaeryeong. I'm sure your feelings for me still linger in your heart. It's the same for me except I decided to continue loving you" Minhyuk said as he held my hands

"You may be right about my feelings. My feelings for you could still be lingering in my heart" I said

"However, I decided to fall for someone else. And that someone is very special to me" I resumed

I want to see Kihyun...

I took his hands off me..

"Please move. I need to go" I said

Minhyuk didn't budge from his spot.

"Go where? To Kihyun?" Minhyuk asked

I gave him a look that should clearly tell him the answer to his question..

"I'm not giving you up" Minhyuk said

"Jaeryeong" Yura called

"Hm? What is it?" I asked

Yura stared at me and Minhyuk..

"....Did I come at a wrong time?" Yura asked

"No, kwenchana. We finished talking" I said

Minhyuk looked at Yura and bowed slightly.

Yura return him a perfect 90 degree bow..

Yura walked up to me and leaned in my ear...

"Did I do it correctly?" Yura whispered

"Pfft. Yeah" I chuckled

Yura smiled.

"Let's go. Dani and the others are waiting" Yura said

I followed her until Minhyuk grabbed my wrist..

"I want to talk to you more. Meet me after school at the gates" Minhyuk said

"...I have work after so be quick about it" I said

"Goodbye" Minhyuk said as he left

I watched Minhyuk walked away...

I could've worded things better instead of acting cold..

"Who is he? Your boyfriend?" Yura asked

"My ex" I corrected

"Mwoh?! Ex? But he sounds like he loves you" Yura said

"You sure catch up quickly. Let's go" I said

"Wait. Seriously?! No way!" Yura exclaimed

I chuckled as Yura continued to babble about my relationship with Minhyuk.

I wonder where's Kihyun..

KIHYUN POV

....How do I explain this to her..

I've been ignoring her the whole day because of this..

Should I just tell her the truth?

"That Jaeryeong is still my contractor and that her wish wasn't granted?" I mumbled

This pabo..

Why did you have to wish that?

A wish won't work if it's already granted..

I blushed..

"I definitely can't tell her can I?" I mumbled

Cause if I do, I practically confessing to her..

But she doesn't know she practically confessed to me.

"Aish~ Yoo Kihyun! What are you gonna do?!" I exclaimed

"Yah! How long are you gonna talk to the toilet?! Get out!" I.M shouted as he kicked the toilet door

"Shut up! I'm brainstorming" I said

I'm in the toilet stall cause it's the only place where no one can bother me..

"If you're not taking a piss and you're not taking a crap then what the hell are you doing in there?!" I.M exclaimed

What should I do...

Wait a minute...

"There's. A. Line. And I'm in it. GET OUT OF THERE" I.M said

I opened the door and sped out of the toilets.

I know what to do.

The answer's clear as day!

She already confessed so all I need to do is reply.

I need to talk to Jaeryeong...

AFTER SCHOOL

JAERYEONG POV

I walked to the school gates and saw Minhyuk..

"Jaeryeong" Minhyuk smiled

"So? What do you want to talk about?" I asked

Minhyuk chuckled.

"Stop acting like that. It's not nice.." Minhyuk pouted

My heart started getting mellow..

This reminds me of how we were friends..

I smiled.

"Mian. I was cold. Anyways, what do you want to discuss?" I asked

"Ahh.. That. I was here to tell you that I got accepted at a job" Minhyuk smiled

"Really? Congratulations! What is your job?" I asked

"I'm working at a bookstore. Here, I'll show you what bookstore" Minhyuk said as he showed me his phone

"Really? I work at a book...... store... too..." I said as I realised what bookstore it was

HE'S WORKING WITH ME?!

"Hahaha. Now you realised?" Minhyuk asked

"No way! How? Wait, why?" I asked

"Because I haven't got to interact with you for a looonng time" Minhyuk said

That's true....

"Let's go!" Minhyuk said

"Thank you for purchasing our books! Please come back again" I said as I bowed to the last customer

"Good job today Jaeryeong and Minhyuk. You may leave first" The Manager smiled

"Eh? But what about you?" I asked

"I'll be re-arranging books that mischevious kids swap around" The Manager said

"I'll help!" Minhyuk and I said in unison

"Hoho. I may be old but I still can move as much as you can. Just go home and rest alright?" The Manager smiled

"...Neh" I said

Minhyuk and I packed up a bit and bowed to the Manager.

Minhyuk walked me back to my house.

"We'll part here I guess" Minhyuk said

"Neh.. I kinda feel bad for not helping the Manager" I said

"Yeah.. same" Minhyuk said

I smiled.

"Bye Minhyuk. See you tomorrow!" I said

I grabbed the door knob and turned it.

"Jaeryeong!" Minhyuk said

"Neh?" I asked as I turned around

Minhyuk grabbed my hips..

Huh?

Minhyuk leaned towards me..

My eyes widened..

I heard the door open.

"Jaeryeong, you home yet--" Kihyun asked

In the corner of my eye, I could see Kihyun staring at me and Minhyuk with wide eyes..

Minhyuk seperated away from my lips..

"Goodnight.. My Darling" Minhyuk smirked

I covered my lips in embarrassment..

"You punk.. I told you already.." Kihyun growled

I looked at Kihyun who emitted a dark, frightening aura..

Kihyun grabbed Minhyuk's neck and raised him up in the air...

My eyes widened.

"I told you that Jaeryeong belongs to me! She's my girl!" Kihyun shouted
