Attack on Titan: Happy Birthday Armin

Look, I know it's not Armin's birthday yet, but I still wanted to do a story taking place during Armin's birthday. Precious Arlert needs these b-day stories!! Enjoy :)

Today was a special day - it was November 3rd. November 3rd was a very special day...it was the day of Armin Arlert's birthday!

Today Armin was excited and after work, he came home to be surprised with his house being all decorated and his friends wishing him a happy birthday with gifts and cake!!

They were frowing Armin a "Happy birthday party".

All of Armin's presents were books. Books because everyone knew how much Armin LOVED to read.

The new books he received had different kinds of genres. Some were Fiction, Non-Fiction, Action, Mystery, Fantasy and one was about the Ocean.

Armin loved reading books about the Ocean even though he might already have a good idea of what it's like already.

Despite Armin and his pals being teleported into our world, outside of the world of AOT, Armin still hasn't seen the Ocean yet. Instead of traveling, everybody bought a separate houses and got jobs and worked for money so they could eat and sleep.

Eren wasn't a big fan of the idea but he said if it was for a year, it would probably be fine. (Eren doesn't like working)

A year has almost passed and now it's november 3rd, Armin's birthday. Eren and the rest of the gang got Armin books, of course. But they had a better gift for him.

"Where are we going?" asked Armin. Everyone was hopping into a van and Armin was blindfolded.

"You'll see when we get there!" Smiled Eren as he guided Armin into the van.

Once everyone found a seat and got buckled up, the van began to move, with Levi driving it. As the van drove on and on, Armin mentioned....

"I wish I could be staring out the window to see what kinds of places weir passing by...can I maybe take off My blindfold...?"

"No, Armin! That will spoil the surprise! But don't worry, when we return home, you can have your blindfold taken off and you could stare as much as you want out the window."

"Ok..." Armin drooped a little. But he still couldn't help but be curious about where they were going. Where could he and the others be heading to?

Armin kept thinking up many kinds of places in his head but just couldn't figure it out. But eventually, the van stopped and everyone hopped out and began to walk for a long time.

All Armin saw was darkness and harsh light blinding the blindfold. It was mixture of both darkness and light. It hurt Armin's eyes even if they were closed.

"Ok...weir some place very warm and sunny. Can I...take My blindfold off yet?" Armin asked again.

"Wait just a liiiittttle bit longer."

Armin grumbled as he grew impatient. But eventually they came to a stop and...

"Armin, you can take off your blindfold now!"

Armin did so immediately and when he opened his eyes they widened three times their normal size and gleamed at the sight before him.

It was the ocean - they were at the beach. There were strong waves that would crash down on the shores and there was sandy sand that got stuck inbetween their toes, and there was seagulls flying above them. It was a beautiful sight...

"You guys-! Y-y-you....you really brought Me here...?"

"Of course we did, buddy! Since there aren't any Titans anymore and since it's your birthday, we thought that we would bring you here!"

"Aww, you guys-!! Thank you!!" Armin cried as he grabbed Eren and Mikasa into a tight and loveable hug.

"Hey, what about US?!" Levi grew angry all in the sudden. "After all, I AM the one who drove you here."

"Oh, I didn't realize you were the one for hugs, Levi." mentioned Armin, a bit surprised.

"Just shut up and hug Me." Levi responded a bit coldly.

"Hey, don't talk to Armin like that on his birthday!" shouted Eren.

"You better shut your trap, Yeager!! I can talk how I wanna talk!"

After this arguing could get any worse, Armin hurried over to Levi and gave him a hug. It felt a little weird for Armin since he never thought Levi the kind to LIKE hugs. Afterall, Levi is the serious tough guy of the group. And the shorty...

So for the rest of the day, Armin and the gang spent the day at the beach until the sun went down. By that time, Eren was carrying Armin on his back as he slept.

"Mikasa..." Eren swiped his head over to Mikasa.

"I'm glad we were able to do this for Armin."

"Yes. so am I." she shot Eren a smile in return.

"We should totally do this again sometime. Really soon."
