Attack on Titan: Your not weak nor a burden!

Look, I Know Boxing arenas doesn't exist in the universe of Attack on Titan, but for the sake of the story, let's pretend it does 😅

The most unbelievable thing was happening right now. To be seeing this happen before your very eyes would make you believe that you were drunk...

Armin Arlert….was boxing. FIGHTING. this is so unlike him!

   

Eren and Mikasa heard that the boxing arena in wall Rose was having a big show down and was earning a lot of money from how many people were showing up.

“I've never been to the boxing arena anyways, Mikasa. Let's go check it out.” Eren leads the way.

   

“Wherever you go….I go.” Replied Mikasa.

So the two were off.

They finally got inside and man, it was crowded!!

“Geez, it's so crowded! What a show this must be!” Eren raised his voice over the loud crowd, so Mikasa can hear him.

“Poor kid….if he doesn't quit he's gonna get himself killed!”  A old man says to another worriedly.

“Mikasa let's go over to the front! I want a better view!”

“Ok.” She respond before they made it to the very first row.

But when they made it there, both their jaws dropped and their eyes went big.

Before the ring….a boy was fighting a very skilled and violent fighter in the boxing ring. The boy who was fighting such a foe was Armin Arlert.

“ARMIN!?!?!” Eren yells in shock.

“WHAT!?!?!” Mikasa gasp, just as shocked as Eren was.

This was unbelievable. Their cute, precious, innocent and adorable Armin was in a boxing match!? No way this was real! But it was.

“Might as well quit you useless kid! There's no way you can beat me!” Exclaimed the skilled boxer.

“Your wrong. I'm not useless! I'll show you! I don't want to be a burden anymore!!” Armin charged at the man to give him a punch in the face but he only received one himself.

Blood was running down from his lips from inside his mouth and he tried to catch his breath.

He was hurting all over. But there was a reason for why he got himself into this match. And the previous match before.

Armin turned his head to the crowd despite his vision starting to get blurry. he saw Eren and Mikasa watching in the front row.

“Eren?! Mikasa?!” He gasped in utter surprise.

“Too long!!” Shouted the man before giving a very powerful punch into Armin's face before he collapsed.

(Yes, this is a Pirates of the Caribbean reference 😂)

“Armin!!” Shouted a voice.

All was black and silent for a long time. But eventually light began to appear and Armin started opening his eyes to see a very blurry image of Eren and Mikasa. It sounded like Eren was calling out his name….

“E-Eren…” his

whispered barely came out before falling uncautious again.

Armin’s eyes began opening and he saw a cabin-like ceiling.

Where am I?

He thought to himself. He started to lift his head up from his pillow but immediately felt a painful throbbing sensation enter his head and he laid his head back down.

“Armin, are you awake?!” Called out a voice. Besides Armin's bed was Eren Yeager, Armin's best friend.

“E-Eren?” Whispered Armin.

“The hell you were doing back there? What were you thinking entering a boxing match!?!? Are you out of your mind!?!?!” Eren’s voice grew louder and was filled with anger. But behind the anger in his tone was deep feelings of love he held for his childhood friend.

“Bo-boxing match?” Armin couldn't remember anything about a boxing match. He thought back and thought back and he eventually remembered it all.

“Oh….that. Eren….I-I'm sorry.” He simply Apologized.

“I don't want your damn apologizes!! I want to know the reason behind why you did that!!”

“I just….thought it would help me become stronger….and not so weak in training. Maybe then I would be a bit more athletic--”

“That's the reason!? Armin!! And what do you mean that your weak?! Your not weak at all! Maybe you aren't very athletic in the least, but you have the smartest brain amongst us! How could someone as smart as you choose to box!? You could have gotten yourself killed!!”

“I-Im sorry….I-I just….I don't….” Armin began to sniffle. “I don't want to be a burden anymore.” His sniffing occurd more and tears began to crawl out from his eyelids.

“Armin, what are you talking about? You've never been a burden to anyone! What is this about?! Your not a burden, nor weak! Your strategies saves a lot of people's lives! You've even saved both mine and Mikasa's! Your brave! And strong! Don't ever think that about yourself again! Ok?”

“O-ok.”

Luckily Armin didn't get any major injuries. Perhaps the guy he was up against was trying to go easy on him? Even if he did, it wasn't by much though….

If you ever run into Armin Arlert and you find out he's worried about being weak, pathetic or a burden to anyone, please reassure him that he's not so he doesn't do anything as crazy as boxing! Please do so. Thanks.

Armin : Was this a weird story, Eren?”

Eren: yeah…..I think.
