Attack on Titan: Armin turns into a Girl 2/ Part 2

So Eren dragged Armin to the city with him and the two watched the fireworks explode beautiful colors that roared in the sky with the crowd.

“Finally the Titans are gone! Humanity has won! No more titans eating humans and stealing our lives, dreams and freedom!”

Armin glanced over to Eren to see his eyes totally lit up as they stared into the sky.

Everybody’s been waiting for this day for so long. And  now it’s finally here.

Armin then smiled as he looked up at the sky again.

“Yeah…..we can finally see the world outside the walls.”

______________ Next day _____________

Armin has woken up and everyone else were outside too. Eren found Armin and immediately blushed. He had no clue that this beautiful girl is actually his best friend transformed into a girl.

“H-Hello! U-umm….w-what can I call you by?” asked Eren.

“U-Umm...Ar-Ar…..uh….” Armin stuttered and altered his eyes away from Eren’s feeling a bit shy and embarrassed.

‘There's no reason to hide this from Eren….I gotta let him know the truth!’ Armin said in his mind.

“Um….it’s Armin.” ////

Armin managed to spit it out and looked back up to see Eren. Eren’s face was red.

“Woooow….” Eren gave out a whistle.

“I didn’t realize girl’s used the names ‘Armin’ too! You see, I got a buddy of mine that’s name is Armin too!”

“Y-You don’t understand! I-i’m--”

Armin was interrupted By a really big rainbow shooting out into the sky and crashing down on the earth outside the walls. It let out a harsh light, blinding everyone. But the brightness and the shaking died down and everyone went outside the walls to see buildings and such.

There were the movie theaters, restaurants, parks, and anything else you could think of!

“A-AM I dreaming?! Or have we been blessed with a paradise?!!” Eren pinched his cheek three times to check if he really was dreaming.

Nope. this wasn’t a dream.

Eren then smiled and gasped happily as he realized it was a dream come true.

“Co-Com’on! Let’s go check all these places out!!” Eren shouted in excitement.

“B-But what about outside--”

“We’ll do that too! Com’on!” Eren grabbed Armin’s arm, dragging him along with him into the movie theater.

That day they saw three movies for hours and then walked out.

“Man, the movie theater is INCREDIBLE!! It’s almost like stories coming to life before your eyes!!”

“Y-yeah...that was pretty cool.”

Eren then noticed Armin’s exhausted and very, very tired look upon his face. Well they did just go to the movies and watched three films without a break…

“You look tired. Let’s do something else. Let’s eat at one of those restaurants! I heard that they’re for FREE!!! So let’s go to the olive garden!!”

Eren once again dragged Armin along to somewhere else.

Olive garden was being incredibly…..different. They were making things seem like a romantic restaurant. One of the men gave Eren a book. He whispered in his ear to make sure that the lady didn’t see any pages in it. Eren nodded - leaving Armin confused.

So the man took Armin and Eren to a table. Eren sat next to Armin. And extremely close, making armin hit the wall by his left side.

“Uuh….there's the other side too if you need that much room.” spoke Armin.

“O-Ooops! Am I crowding you?! eh--Sorry!!”

Eren scooted away more, giving Armin good amount of room.

The waiter then arrived and the two said what they wanted and the waiter walked away with their orders.

Armin then noticed how it seemed like romantic music was playing and couples at other tables to themselves would stare at each other while eating and would be kissing in many different ways out in public. Two people were getting too lovey dovey and were even asked to leave. The guy didn’t like that and punched the waiter in the face and a bunch of drama was happening. But it eventually ended.

Armin looked away back to where he and Eren was. He felt much safer over here than over there.

Armin then noticed how Eren was reading the book that the man at the entrance gave him.

“E-Eren, what are you reading?” asked Armin.

“E-Eh?!! w-Wait!! H-ho-hold on!! Don’t look! No sneak peeking!!” Eren shoved the book closer to his face.

What could possibly be so bad in the book for Eren to hide it from him?

“T-This is just something to do when waiting…..so….can we do what it says in the book?”

“Huh? Do what?”

“N-Never mind. I-it’ll be a surprise. A-and….before that I want to tell you that I’ve been having a lot of fun with you. A-and I think you're cute and…..and v-very beautiful!!”

Armin was dumbfounded and didn’t know what to say. Did Eren SERIOUSLY not recognize him? Did he really think he was a GIRL???

“S-so...this is just when weir waiting…..o-ok?”

“Um….ok?” Armin wasn’t even sure how to reply to Eren. he had no clue what Eren even meant. Do what?

Suddenly Eren got closer to Armin and kissed his lips.

Armin’s eyes shot big and his face flustered and in his mind he shouted…..

WHAT IN THE NAME OF WALL ROSE, MARIA, AND SHEENA?!!!

“I-I think I’m sorta in love with you! Say something if you don’t love Me.”

Armin was silent not because he didn’t love him, but he was paralyzed in shock and confusion. This had to be a nightmare.

“Great! I’m glad you feel the same! Let’s do all the different kinds of kisses there are to cover in the book! Next, let’s do french and then--”

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Armin screamed and cried in his mind.

Eren was about to do it until he stopped when a certain song began to play on the radio.

“How did this happen to me, I made My mistakes, got nowhere to run, but life goes on, how did this happen to Meeee???”

This song so suits Me right now…

Armin thought to himself.

But suddenly the other customers were flipping tables and going on a rampage and frowing food and dashing into the kitchens and breaking and frowing plates.

“OW!!!” cried someone who got hit by a plate.

"CHANGE THE SONG!!!!!!!!!!!” an outraged guy screamed.

“OK, OK!! WE’LL CHANGE IT!!” cried one of the customers and it was changed from a sad song, to a romantic song. This made everyone happy and they silently resumed how they were - they would eat, stare and their loved ones and kiss.

“Geez, this restaurant is crazy! It seems crazier than the olive garden I’ve read about in books!” Eren commented.

“Yeah….it’s insane.” agreed Armin.

The two then got their food, ate and left.

After that they went to the park and a bunch more places. Then a arcade and more indoor stuff.

The sun was slowly setting and the two were outside and Eren was going on and on about how fun this was. But the entire time they didn’t even ONCE go to the ocean. There was one the rainbow placed nearby on land and Armin asked Eren about it once, but they never did. It even seems like Eren actually FORGOT about it.

Suddenly Armin began to cry. He couldn’t keep in his tears or sobbing and suddenly began crying out uncontrollably.

“H-Hey! A-Armin, what’s wrong?!” Eren panicked.

“W-We….are we ever going to see the ocean…?” Armin sobbed.

“H-Huh? The ocean?”

Eren then after a moment of thinking snapped into realization.

“Ah, darn it! I totally forgot!! W-want to go tomorrow, or--”

When Eren said this, Armin began to sob and cry a little harder.

“Ooooor…...TODAY!!” Eren changed his words and began to take Armin with him to the beach so that they could see the ocean.

“C'mon, girl! We’ll see it! Just you and Me….”

‘Just you and Me…..? girl? But I am not a girl…..I’m a boy. And I’m your best friend. You seem to not realize it’s me over My change of appearance and it also seems you don’t care about Me anymore. You care more about this girl than bringing Me along with you. Weren't we going to see all of this together? How have you not noticed or realized it’s Me after spending this much time with Me? Are you that blind?’

_______________Later______________

Eren and Armin was inching closer and closer to the beach.

“Weir almost there, girl! Just you wait! It’s gonna be--” suddenly Armin smacked his hand out of Eren’s grasp and squealed out,

“NO!!”

There was silence between the two. Eren was confused.

“I-I don’t want to see it with you anymore!!”

“Huh? But why? Weir already almost there.”

“I…..you don’t even recognize or realize who I really am!!”

“Yeah I do. You're the Armin I’ve come to know yesterday and today--”

“Wrong!! We’ve know each other much longer! W-we’ve….we’ve been best friends since forever! Since we were kids! Do you even remember who it was that told you…..about everything that exist outside the walls?! About the oceans that burn like fire…..mountains of sand….rain forest…..cold wintery lands…..Don’t you remember?!”

Eren was silent for a moment as he stared at Armin in thought. And suddenly his eyes grown wide as he came into realization.

“Ar….Armin? Is that….really you? But….how?”

Armin opened his squinted eyes and glanced up to face Eren. Eren had recognized him finally.

Suddenly Armin began to glow and got lifted up in the air.

( looks almost like the scene in beauty and the beast when beast turns back into human )

And his legs and arms weren't as thin anymore, his chest became flat, and his hair grew short again. After the transformation, his feet met the ground and a smile grew on his face.

“I-I’m back to normal now! Maybe it’s because somebody I knew came to recognize me! I’m never trusting strangers again!”

“H-HOLD ON!! Armin….did you seriously just said that you trusted a STRANGER?!!”

“I-I’m sorry!! He told Me to drink this weird liquid and that it would make Me become stronger. And that I wouldnt be a weak and pathetic burden to anybody anymore….”

“Whaat?! Since when have you ever been a  pathetic burden?!”

……

“Forever….?”

Eren then walked closer up to Armin and placed his two hands onto Armin’s shoulders.

“Armin, never think of yourself like that again. You're Not weak, nor pathetic, nor a burden!”

“.......but I am.”

“No, you're not. Maybe you aren't very athletic in the least, but you're incredibly smart. That smart mind of you’rs have saved Me, Mikasa and the others countless times. Don’t ever loose faith in yourself like that again and think of yourself lowly. You're strong and brave. No matter what you think or anybody says.”                

“Eren….”

“Now c'mon, let’s see the ocean.” Eren grabbed hold of Armin’s hand and lead the way.

“It’s been our dreams since we were kids. Weir gonna see it together now. Let’s go. There's no more caged walls or titans to steal our freedom away no more. We can do what we want now. Weir free birds that can go anywhere from here on.”

________Later__________

Eren and Armin were even MORE closer to the ocean now, and suddenly Mikasa popped up besides Eren, scaring the heck out of him.

“MI-MIKASA?!! W-Where did you….”

“Please don’t think I was going to not come with you two, when you both see the ocean.”

Eren frowned and Armin smiled.

“It’s great to have you along with us too, Mikasa!”

Eren let out a immature groan of disgust.

“Eren! T-that wasn’t nice….” commented Armin.

“Eren might sound disgusted Armin, but really, he’s happy.”

……

“Huh?”

__________more time passed __________

More time had passed and finally the three made it onto the sandy sand. But Eren put a blindfold covering Armin’s eyes.

“Really Eren. I don’t see why I need a blindfold to start with. If I have a blindfold on, how am I possibly able to see the ocean?”

“Just wait…..waaaiiiitt…..”

Eventually Eren took off Armin’s blindfold and Armin’s eyes lit up gleaming at what laid out before him, Eren and Mikasa. there was the ocean as it’s waves crashed onto the shore and the water shone like fire.

“I-It’s…..it’s beautiful!! It’s just like how I pictured it….it looks just like in the book! It’s amazing!! I-I wonder if it has salt in it!!”

Armin went towards the water and his feet splashed about in it and he touched the sand with his index finger and then placed it in his mouth.

His eyes gone wide and he tasted a sour and bitter taste and immediately pulled his finger out.

“The ocean IS covered with salt!! That was salt I just tasted!! The book was right!!”

Eren and Mikasa smiled as they watched Armin get excited and talk ethuastickly about it all. It seems that some dreams do come true.

After that day, Mikasa found out about Eren thinking Armin was a girl, and she punished Eren with a punishment you totally don’t want to know about,  and the three was free and able to explore the world outside the walls. And they lived happily ever after.
