Attack on Titan: Escape from Certain Death/ Nanaba and Kiyomi/ Part 1

We will have lost only at the moment humans stop fighting. As long as we keep fighting, We will only be defeated the moment we give up fighting.

It happened so fast. She couldn’t even remember how it happened. She just remembers someone shouting her name and feeling something heavy tackle her and the world flip upside down.

After that, everything went black. But only for a few seconds.

She can feel her ears piercing too.

As her hearing came back, she heard someone shouting her name.

“Are you ok? Wake up!”

It was Nanaba.

“I-I’m alright. Thank you.” Kiyomi sits up.

“Where are we?”

“You really don’t remember? You got your horse way too close to the castle and part of the castel started collapsing towards the entrance. and now weir trap inside.” the other girl explains to the other.

“I see…”

“Do you have any more gas in your maneuvering equipment?” Nanaba asks.

“Um….no. I ran out.”

“I’m out too.”

…..

….

“It’s best we just leave our maneuvering equipment here for the moment. Or else it will only prove to be a burden on us.” Nanaba says as she takes her’s off.

“Ok.” Kiyomi said obediently, agreeing on the idea of the maneuvering equipment’s being a nuisance on them since they are already out of gas. She takes them off too.

“Are you ready? We must find some windows to get out of here.” plans Nanaba.

“Sounds good.” Kiyomi replies.

Nanaba finds a torch and scrapes it against the wall and a small fire lights up their path.
