Attack on Titan: Traitors

22:11, 19 August 2018

It was revealed that Ymir was a Titan shapeshifter, but whether she was on our side or against us, we did not know.

However, Christa repeatedly kept saying how she knew that Ymir wasn't against them and was on their side but she probably didn't say anything  because she was scared.

Ymir was uncautious at the moment, but she should be fine.

I greeted Armin, Eren and Mikasa when I spotted them and all four of us smiled as we talked.

Its felt like it's been forever since we've been together like this. It's been too long.

But eventually Eren drifted away, it looked like he was talking to Reiner and Bertolt and Mikasa paused in her tracks. Both me and Armin however, continued walking and kept chatting together.

“So um...how's your injury on your side? Do you feel any better?” Armin ask.

“It's much better, it's still just a tiny bit sore, but it really doesn't bother me any more.” I smiled.

“I'm glad.” Armin returned a smile looking relieved.

But as soon as his smile came, it left and a terrified look was replaced on his face and he grabbed onto me screaming my name and we were both knocked down by a strong force of wind and there was an enormous explosion right behind us.

I squinted my eyes shut when I fell, but Armin was on top me, gripping me close, protecting and shielding me from whatever danger was behind him.

I took a peek over his shoulders and what I saw really shouldn't had been there at all. There was...the colossal Titan along with the armored…? What? Was this real? How? When did…? What?

I was so confused at the moment but extremely harsh wind of burning hot air was scorching through and Armin was shielding me from the violent gush.

I felt confused...but felt more terrified than anything.

There they were….the Titans who stole my home. The Titans who stole my family. The Titans who took everything I held dear away.

This was my moment. My moment for revenge. But...why? Why don't I feel any anger right now? Only fear and confusion?

The reason I enlisted to become a soldier...the reason I joined the scouts….was to defeat these two Titans who took everything I held dear away. But...what can I do? Their presence alone is so intimidating….can I really stand a chance against them? I'll die if I try….

The Armored Titan grabbed Eren and slid down the walls while the collosal Titan grabbed Ymir, who was still not awake despite the insane event that was occuring.

Christa could be heard screaming for Ymir.

The armored Titan...it's...it's stealing Eren. It's...stealing my friend.

Armin, Eren and Mikasa….they are the people besides my precious sister whom I hold dear. These four people are all I have now.

These monsters have already stolen my home along with my parents and grandparents...I won't let them steal from me any longer!!

The anger I felt towards these Titans the day they stole it all suddenly returned.

The violent gust of wind stopped.

Armin backed off from me, removing what almost seemed to be an embrace and he asked if I was alright.

I stand on my feet and look at the collosal Titan. After that, I looked down where the armored Titan jumped off and kidnapped Eren.

“I'm fine...but we need to save him!” I said before charging towards the edge of the wall.

“K-kiyomi, no!!” Shouted Armin.

I jumped off the wall and started running down it before connecting my maneuvering equipment to nearby trees and flying into the sky.

What a wild ride…

I noticed yet another explosion. looks like the flash of light that seems to appear whenever a person who has the ability to shapeshift, shapeshifts.

Eren’s Titan form appears and he lets out a battle cry before frowing a punch at the armored Titan. The armored Titan is left flying but once it crash's, it eventually stands back up and attacks Eren with a powerful blow, in an attempt to knock him down.

Eren can't do this alone. I have to help him beat this armored Titan!

So I joined in on the fight.

It was risky, I could be killed in one wrong move by either Titan, even by Eren if I'm not too careful.

But it's a risk I have to take.

So I carefully try helping Eren in the battle against the armored Titan. But while fighting I spot Armin and Mikasa by the wall, the hook to their menuvering equipment connected to it, leaving them hang as their feet are against the wall, but Armin shouts…

“Eren!! You have to head back inside the walls! They're trying to kidnap you! Having you out here is exactly what they want!”

But Eren ignores and suddenly right when it looks like the Armored Titan is about to give me a blow that should kill me, Eren swats me out of the way and I crashed into the grass.

The armored Titan manages to beat Eren and kidnapped him away from the walls once again.

There was a loud explosion and harsh wind passing through.

I was just laying it the grass, but I move my head over the direction and saw clouds of smoke near the wall and the nearby trees and grass over by the direction was on fire.

I didn't see the collosal Titan on top the wall anymore. Did it disappear or…? What exactly just happened?

“Kiyomi!” Came a voice.

Armin and Mikasa came and helped me back on my feet.

Luckily Eren tried being somewhat gentle when he swatted me away. He protected me from being killed by the armored Titan. But he was beaten and got himself kidnapped in the process.

I fought the armored Titan not to kill it, but to keep Eren safe and to keep him from getting kidnapped….but I failed.

When we reatreted back on top the walls I asked Armin for details of what might have happened. I'm sure he already received information on what exactly just happened, especially seeing how he just got done speaking to Section commander Hanji.

He told me that Reiner was the Armored Titan, Bertolt was the Colossal Titan and that their goal was to kidnap Eren...and they succeeded.

The two men I had gotten close to in the 104th...the two guys who everyone trusted and relied on...turned out being humanity's enemy and turned out being traitors.
