Attack on Titan: My next few days after my first expedition outside the Walls

It's been a few days after the scouts ventured outside the walls and we came back without any accomplishments.

Perhaps we found out the fact that there is someone within the walls who has a Titan shapeshifting power like Eren whose goal is to Capture him and escape somewhere outside of the walls, but the only remaining question…

Who is this traitor?

We don't know. All we have figured out at the moment is that it could be someone who was in the 104th training Corp.

Perhaps it was someone...I was rather close to?

I would hope not. Because betrayal hurts.

But no matter what, we must find out who this person is. Because if we let them get away with Eren, humanity's final hope, all will be lost…

Ever since we got back inside the walls I would check on my fellow friends, see how they were doing.

They all seemed to be doing either fine or ok. That's at least good….

After that, I would train for hours and then I asked captain Levi if there was anywhere he wanted me to Clean for him.

I never ever request to clean for him. And I usually don't talk to him that much...so he seemed greatly surprised upon me asking.

“oi, are you alright? That last battle didn't mess with you…?”

“N-no sir. I...I wouldn't mind cleaning. It's not like I really have any other work to do…” I try explaining to him a bit nervously but tried not to show it.

His presence can be intimidating.

“You want to clean that badly? Ok, I'll take you to a place where you can clean. But just know you'll have to clean until the place is completely spotless, am I clear?” When it came to cleaning, captain Levi meant business.

“Yes sir!” I responded.

So Levi took me to a place to clean and I spent the remainder of the day, cleaning.

Eventually as time worn on, my cleaning became slower.

My side was killing me...it hurt so badly, it felt as if something was stabbing it with a blade….and I know why.

During my first expedition outside the walls, I faced the female Titan and the Titan slammed it's arm into me and I crashed against one of the big trees.

I was lucky to had survived and not been killed.

I haven't really even told anyone about this injury. It hurts...I really should tell someone. It's not ok to be hiding it. Who knows when I'll be sent back outside the walls for another mission?

But..I had so much to be doing. I pretty much already finished up checking on all my friends but there's still a few others that weighed on my mind that I wanted to check on.

Then there's training….

And now, there's unending cleaning I have to work on.

Eventually as more time passed, Levi came in. He looked the place over as I continued cleaning and eventually….I heard a tch.

“Is this some kind of a joke to you? It Shouldn't take so long to clean one single room!”

“S-sorry Levi! I-i mean, captain Levi sir! I-im trying to be quick!” I stuttered and apologize as I swiftly try cleaning a bit faster.

Darn it...I freaking just called Levi my his name alone without any formalities!! How stupid of me….

Levi stares at me what looks like a cold gaze…

Please don't give me a punishment please!! I've been trying so hard to clean this room to my best ability-!!

“Take a break.”

“H-huh?”

“I said take a break. You look fit to collapse. And I'm not asking you...it's an order.”

Hm... perhaps Captain Levi isn't so cold as I thought him out to be? Perhaps he's not like what some people say.

“A-are you sure…?” I pressed the issue on a bit nervously. Is he really ok with me taking a break?

“Yes I'm sure. Take a break, I'll finish the cleaning. Just take it easy.”

So I end up thanking captain Levi before leaving.

“She should really give herself some rest, she's turning into a ghost.” Levi mumbled, but I didn't hear him since by then, I had already opened the door to walk out.

I decided I would take heed to Levi’s advise and rest so I was on my way to the barracks but before that….

“Kiyomi?”

I glanced over to my right to see Armin in front of me. He surprised me! He sure was quick. Where did he come from?!

“Are you alright? You like like your stumbling.” He has a worried and concern look on his face.

“And your looking pale.” He adds.

“O-oh, uh...um, yeah--I just uh...I think I just need to get some rest. I've might of been, uh... working myself too hard.” I stammered on my words.

Why was I getting all flustered in front of Armin?

Can it be because of my crush on him? Ack, I need to push those feelings aside! Weir in a middle of war, and soldiers don't have time for “love”! We have more important things to do such as training...

Armin almost seems to have a confused look on his face, probably noticing how weird I was acting.

“Oh ok. Please take it easy then, there's no reason for you to be working yourself so hard.”

“Ok.”

With that said, Armin let me continue my stroll towards the barracks.

He watched from far away, and he noticed how I started clutching at my side…

I finally made it inside the barracks and before I touched the knob to my door…

“Kiyomi! Wait!”

I turned around and to my surprise, there was Armin! Did he suddenly chase after me? Was something wrong?

“Kiyomi, are you really sure your alright? Is your side bothering you at all?”

Oh crap. He noticed. Darn it, I shouldn't have grabbed onto my side and left it alone…

“U-um…”

I looked at Armin as he stared into my eyes.

I can't lie to him…

Armin, Eren and Mikasa are the last people I could ever lie to.

Also, I'm pretty sure Armin is able to see right through me right now.

And I can't help but to want to be honest with him…

Besides, this injury might not be as bad as I worry it is. Perhaps there's a quick and easy treatment for it?

“Um….” I stuttered nearly becoming shy.

“It hurts, doesn't it?” Armin ask.

“Y-yeah…” I give in, unable to hide it from keen Armin.

“How long has it hurt?”

“Um...s-since the expedition.”

“That was three days ago! It's been hurting for that long and you haven't told anyone?”

“S-sorry.” I apologise as I alter my eyes from him.

“Do you know why it hurts? Do you Know what happened?”

“Well, um…”

How am I going to tell Armin? That the female Titan hurt me? I don't seem to have much of a choice…

“Well...I was fighting the Female Titan and she, erm….hit me with a swing of her arm.”

“What!?” Armin's eyes went huge and this was what I was afraid of. Getting a crazy reaction.

But Armin seemed to notice me flinch at that moment and seemed to have calmed down.

“So...did you bleed any?”

“No, it's just a bad bruise and really sore…”

“Hm...you don't think you broken anything?”

“No…”

After a moment of Armin thinking…

“Come on, I want to take you to the doctors.”

By that, he meant to take me to the place where all the soldier's gets treated for their injuries.

I've visited the place a couple times with Christa, to check on a little girl who was worried about her father, who didn't seem like they'd make it.

But I went outside the walls with her to grab a certain herb that might have given the father a chance at surviving.

So Armin took me to the place and the doctors recognized me.

They took a look at my injury, took care of it and all I really needed after was some bed rest. They told me if I had only came and told them about it after the expedition outside the walls, the day I got the injury, it wouldn't be worst like it is now.

“When your hurt or injured, you need to tell people so you can be treated, then you won't have to endure so much unnecessary pain.” One of the doctors would tell me as I apologized countlessly.

Armin helped me back to my dorm and laid me down on my bed.

“You don't need to hide these kind of things from us. It's always ok to tell someone when your hurt or when something is wrong. I want to be able to help you more. But I'll never know when your hurting unless you tell me.”

Maybe...but even without telling you, you noticed right away.

Armin's so sweet….im really blessed to have such an amazing friend.
