Attack on Titan: My first expedition outside the Walls

Today it's been made official that I've finally joined the scouts. It was exciting for me and also for my others friends who joined the same regiment as well.

But tommorow morning we will be going on our first expedition outside the walls.

I was nervous and a bit scared, but Armin was right next to me and would reassure me that I will be fine.

Everyone is always looking up to me, treating me like a strong soilder like Levi or whatever, but in all honesty I'm not even close to ever being on Levi's level.

I'm weak...and I often feel pathetic but I try my best to do a good job so I don't disappoint everyone and screw up.

It felt reassuring however, having Armin right next to me by my side.

I felt with him by my side, I had courage. That I can pull through this. That maybe, just maybe, I could survive this expedition.

Eventually the gates opened and commander Erwin screamed charge.

All soilder's on horse back, including me, followed the order and charged outside of the walls.

I felt the wind brush past my face as my horse charged on ahead, eventually taking me far beyond the walls.

I fought countless Titans, killing many off in an attempt to save both my commerades and friends while trying my hardest to stay alive and refrain myself from being eaten or killed.

Eventually I found Armin, Jean and Reiner and we teamed up to buy time and distract a abnormal Titan who seemed to be female.

There were countless times all four of us were nearly killed in the process. Armin was even tossed into the air and crashed to the ground really badly to the point he wounded his head.

"Armin!!!" I screamed in fear.

The female Titan bent down next to Armin, staring at him.

I started running and flew into the air after hooking my hook onto the nape of the Titan's nape and got closer towards slicing off the nape.

But the female Titan foresaw my movie and swu g out her arm, which would have killed me, but Jean pushed me out of the way and started flying around the Titan to strike down.

"Jean, don't!!" I screamed in fear.

He's going to get killed...but before the female Titan could swing her arm to kill him, Armin started screaming about how the female Titan killed his best friend, a "Suicidal maniac".

The female Titan froze her punch.

This grabbed the female Titan's attention and distracted her.

This sudden action just saved Jean's life In the nick of time.

But...that was a nickname we used in the 104th...are you telling me this Titan killed Eren?! No...no, no, no....not Eren! It can't be....

But....only we of the 104tg knows and uses this nickname. How...why did the female Titan...?

Some time later Reiner vegan attacking the female Titan but got crushed in her grasp.

Jean let out a yell, not believing this, but suddenly Reiner Slash's his way out of the class of certain death, grabs Armin, and we run.

The female Titan turns tail. But why?

"Oh no....I think she's after Eren..." Armin muttered.

"W-wait...s-so Eren's alive?!" I gasped.

The three looked at me and Armin told me that Eren wasn't killed, he just said that to distract the female Titan and to grab her attention.

What a relief...

When we arrived at a spot to rest, Reiner bandaged up Armin's forehead and after Reiner left a ways away to do some thinking of what we should do next, I found myself staring at Armin without meaning to.

I was worried about him.

Once he noticed and our eyes met, I snapped out of it, my eyes went huge and I immediately altered my gaze from Armin's while my heart nearly skipped a beat.

Why do I always have a bad habbit of staring at people? It's considered rude...

"Kiyomi, are you ok?" Armin approached me.

I became startled, jerked my head up to see Armin in front of me, looking at me with a worried look.

"Oh, um, erm...I'm ok, uh....how's your head?" I asked him once I finally managed to stop stuttering.

"Oh, my head? It's ok, don't worry. It's just a scratch, I'm alright." Armin smiled sweetly at me.

I'm relieved. That blow to the head looked hard, if he's really feeling alright, then I'm happy.

Later on we found out that the roar we heard later on in the forest of big trees was a Titans roar...the female Titan's roar.

The scouts had captured the female Titan. And we were planning on bringing it with us inside the walls.

But plans didn't go according to plan.

The female Titan let out a ear piercing roar, causing all Titans to charge at it, they started devouring the Titan and apparently the female Titan was a shape shifter like Eren, and seemed to had either escaped or gotten eaten alive.

It was all so they wouldn't be captured or would have to spill certain secrets...

Later on I split up from Armin's squad and was with Levi's squad and Gunther was killed by a fellow soilder who was disguised with a scouts cloak and hoodie.

Gunther was killed by the same swords we use to kill Titans.

The person sliced off the nape of Gunther's neck, and he was left hanging...

Anger swelled inside Petra, Oluo and Eld and they demanded for the mysterious person to show theirs selves instead of hiding.

Suddenly there seemed to be an explosion with light bursting out and after the light died down...we all saw the female Titan appear.

Apparently the person who killed Gunther was a fellow soilder...and they were also the female Titan.

Everyone in the squad besides Eren, fought against the female Titan. I fought too.

But eventually Petra told Eren to flee since he was who she was after and to have some trust in them.

Eren decided to put his trust in the squad and I accompanied him as he fled.

But all of Levi's squad was killed.

Else's face got bitten off it seemed.

Petra was crushed by a massive kick into one of the giant trees...

And Oluo got crushed by one of the female Titan's kicks.

Both me and Eren were in utter shock.

Eventually Eren became enraged and transformed into a Titan and started attacking the female Titan.

I tried assisting Eren in the fight, but it looked way too dangerous. One wrong move, and even Eren himself could accidentally kill me if I interfered in the fight.

But Eren lost and right when the female Titan was about to rip Eren out of his Titans flesh...

I jumped in to cut the Titans left arm to somehow distract or stop her.

Slicing her nape will do nothing, her skin around her nape will only harden into thick ice and she would have killed me just like how she did Oluo if I did just that.

So I tried slicing off the arm, but the female Titan slammed her arm against me and I crashed against the bark to one of the giant trees and my but fell to the ground and I felt myself loosing conscious.

The female Titan ripped Eren out of his Titans nape, according to plan, and swallowed him into

it's mouth and took a run for it.

"Eren!" I heard a cry.

It sounded like Mikasa.

Everything afterwards, went black.

I heard a voice. It sounded somewhat familiar. I still felt that I was surrounded by darkness however.

The voice kept calling my name, in attempt to drag me out of that darkness.

Eventually light began to appear and everything turned blurry.

"Oi, wake up!" I heard the voice more clearly.

As my vision adjusted I felt a hand shaking into my shoulder, trying to snap me out of it.

"Are you ok? We need to rescue Eren."

It was captain Levi.

My head felt weird...did I pass out? I was 

sore and hurting all over too....

"Come in, get up." He demands me more than he's telling me to.

So I lean against the tree and slowly stand up.

"Your not hurt, are you?" He asks me.

"N-no, I'm alright." I lied.

I don't want to be a nuisance to him. Not when we need to save Eren...

So I tried my best to stand and walk properly to fool the captain and after that he said...

"Ok, let's go."

And with that, we flew into the air using our manuneuring equipment, and hurried off to save Eren.

But...isn't Eren dead? Didn't the female Titan eat and devour him?

I questioned Levi this and told me the female Titan probably just has Eren in her mouth because there's no way after all this trouble of kidnapping Eren, she would just eat and kill him just like that.

We ran into Mikasa along the way, who had the same goal to rescue Eren.

Eventually we found the female Titan and began attacking her, in attempt to save Eren and to lower her guard.

Mikasa was about to aim for the nape, Levi tried telling her to stop because attacking the nape won't do any good, so Levi stepped in and pushed her out of the way, but when he stepped into the Titan, he twisted his ankle in the process.

Eventually after cutting off enough of the female Titan's limbs, she dropped open her mouth revealing a very slimy, but alive Eren.

Levi grabbed Eren and we flew away.

The expedition was now over but we acheived nothing. We had nothing to show for this expedition to the people.

But we did learn at least one new thing...there was another Titan shape shifter like Eren who apparently is a traitor among us inside the walls...
