" Chapter 13 - School Festival "

After days of decorating of our theme, today is now the school festival in Arlanta Academy.

I woke up and got out of my bed excitingly and immediately do all my morning routine and ran down the stairs for breakfast.

"Good morning mom and dad!!" I greeted them happily and pecked their cheeks.

"Morning sweetie, you look very cheerful today," Mom said and sat beside dad.

"Today is our festival and I am now very confident that our class will be number one this year!!" I said and ate my food on the table.

"Good luck, I'm sure you'll win!! Mom and dad will be rooting for your class, isn't that right dear?" Mom said and looked at dad. He hummed in response while sipping his coffee.

"Thank you mom, thank you dad," I smiled at them and continued finishing my breakfast.

"I'm going now!!" I said as I put my shoes on.

"Take care!!" Mom said, finishing up dad's tie.

I walked out of our house and saw a familiar raven hair at the gate.

"Oh! You're early today," I said, walking out of our gate.

He scratched his nape, "Speak for yourself, mom yelled at me so early in the morning."

I laughed at him and said, "Let's go, we've got more preparations to do."

We walked side by side and met Jenny on our way.

"Jenny!" I called. She turned and saw me waving at her then she waved back, "Morning, Athy, Lucas!"

"Morning!" I greeted back, while Lucas just yawned.

We arrived at the school pretty early than I thought, we walked to our shoe lockers and changed our shoes and walked to our classroom.

We opened the curtains and cleaned up a little, after that many students were now running around the halls preparing for their theme. Our waiters and waitresses were changing behind the big curtain separating the cafe and the changing room.

"Why aren't you changing?" Lucas asked.

"I'll be helping with the cooking," I replied, tying my hair up.

Lucas looked disappointed and walk away.

What was that all about?

After an hour the festival has start and opened the school gate for the people. The school is immediately packed with students, families and others.

The people keep coming in to the classrooms, but amazingly ours is very popular. Do you know why?

An hour ago...

"Aw, c'mon!! Just try it!" I said at Lucas, shoving him a waiter's costume.

"No!! I don't want to!!" Lucas said pushing it back to me.

"It won't hurt if you try it!! Pretty please~" I begged him.

"No!! I told you I won't fall for that!" He said crossing his arms in annoyance.

Then what about this!!

"Oh! Kiel's looks good with that outfit!! He looked like a prince," I said, admiring Kiel at the distance then suddenly he took the outfit from me, "I'll wear it..." He muttered.

"Hmm? You said yo--" He cut me off and said, "I'll wear it okay?!"

It worked!!! Haha!!

I just knew he would be like this because the other day when we ate some cakes because I really want to eat some! Then he kept cursing and glaring to the guys who can't stop looking and admiring me.

But why is he angry at that time and also today....?

Now...

After that I ordered Lucas and Kiel to walk around and persuade the costumers.

Hohoho!! I'm so intelligent!!

"Athy!! We're almost out of today's ingredients," Rina called.

"Huh?!" I exclaimed.

Then I-- no I can't!! I'm super busy with the sauce!!

Then suddenly someone patted my head, "What's wrong? Did you goofed up?"

"Lucas!! There's no time for making jokes right now!" I angrily said.

"I'll buy..." He said.

"What do you mean?" I tilted my head.

He took off his apron and loosened his tie, "I'll buy, since I'm free..."

I beamed at him, and gave him the money and also the list for the ingredients. Thank goodness!

"Okay, let's calm down. Lucas has now gone off buying the ingredients!" I said.

They sighed in relief and I added, "If we were gonna run out well just uhh... Use a sign or something!"

They nodded and go back to their works. Not too long Lucas came back with a bag full of ingredients.

"How did you carry that?" I said.

"I just carried it..." Lucas shrugged and sat lazily on the chair, "Ah! I'm tired!!"

"Here..." I handed him out a bottle of water.

He accepted it and drank the water, "Thanks."

"I'm gonna go now, they must be busy," I said and walked away then he just hummed in response.

As I walk to the kitchen, which is at the corner of the room the girls stopped me from going in.

"What?" I asked.

"Eh... Uhm... We don't have enough maids, and the cafe is too busy..." She said.

"Should I call someone?!" I said.

"No, no! Just you is enough," She said and grabbed my arm.

"W-w-w-wait!!" I struggled to let go but I don't have any strength because there are five of them.

I don't want to!!!!!

They changed me into a maid outfit, it is a knee length blue dress and a white apron tied around my waist and they changed my shoes into an black oxford shoes adaptable for my white socks. They also tied my hair with a blue ribbon into a pony tail.

"Haaaah, this is gonna be embarrassing!!" I said as I covered my face.

Jenny consoled me and said, "You looked good Athy! Don't be embarrassed."

Suddenly someone opened the curtains and a familiar voice said, "Hey! What are you doing here?! Get back to..." His voice trailed off as soon he saw me.

Of all people!

"Oh! Lucas, look at Athy!!" Jenny squealed.

Aaaahhh!! Noo!!

Lucas just remained silent and looked at me from top to bottom, then I saw a tint of blush on Lucas' face.

"Doesn't it looked good on her?!" Jenny asked admiring at my face.

Why are you asking such nonesense?!

He flinched when Jenny asked him, he looked away covering his face with one hand backing away and said, "You looked.. fine.."

Hey! Why are you blushing?!

I felt my face heat up and immediately walked away, fanning myself as I walk towards the costumer.

Why is my face so hot?
