Amerie sat in art class painting on a large canvas. They were working on portraiture, so Amerie decided to paint her mom and Travis.

"Amerie woah, how are you that good at painting" Piper said looking over at Amerie's work.

Amerie shrugged and continued to focus on her painting.

"Miss, Amerie is like a professional. Her painting is like crazy realistic" Piper shouted out.

"Amerie this is indeed amazing" The art teacher spoke

"Thank you" Amerie smiled.

The bell rang signalling the end of less.

"Class dismissed" The teacher said.

Students rushed out, while Amerie, Piper and Julia all took their time packing up and helping to clean the classroom.

"You girls don't have to do that" Mrs Ashton spoke

"We want to" Amerie smiled

"Well thank you." The teacher smiled.

The three girls left the classroom chattering away.

Amerie felt a small bump on her shoulder. Someone walked into her.

"Woah watch where you're going" Amerie said, but the girl blanked her.

"Who was that?" Julia asked, Amerie shrugged

"Oh that's Kaycee. She's the music teachers daughter. She's a grade above us though." Piper said

"Oh. Well there's no need for her to bump into me." Amerie sighed

"She probably wasn't paying attention" Julia reassured

"She didn't even say anything when I told her to watch where she's going" Amerie sighed

"She's hard of hearing, she probably can't hear you." Piper said

"Hard of hearing Piper. That doesn't mean she can't hear at all. Plus she has hearing aids or something. I can't exactly tell" Julia said

"Oh. I thought they were the same thing. That makes sense" Piper said

"Maybe I should talk to her." Amerie said

"I would just leave it, people say she's doesn't make friends with people well." Piper said

"Why don't we try. We know what it's like to not be able to make friends because of our differences so why should we leave her out. Maybe she wants friends." Amerie said

"I guess." Piper said, Julia just nodded.

"She's probably in the music room right?" Amerie asked

"Most likely." Piper nodded.

The three girls rushed down the corridor to the music room, to the sound of the piano.

The three girls clapped after the piano piece finished

"Sorry do I know you three?" Kaycee asked

"No, well you sorta bumped into me on the corridor." Amerie sighed

"So you came here for what exactly? To pick a fight because I accidentally bumped into you? Look I'm sorry but I'm not looking for drama" Kaycee said

"Neither are we. We just want to be friends" Amerie said

"Not looking for them either" Kaycee sighed

"Look we get what's it's like not being able to make friends because you don't feel like you fit in. I'm autistic, Julia too and Piper is ADHD. We're so different but we fit in with each other because we can relate. I just don't like seeing people lonely." Amerie said

"Well I'm not diagnosed with any of those, so you wouldn't get it. You may be different but you're not my different" Kaycee sighed.

Miss Robbins walked in, it seemed like she was listening in from outside of the room.

"You know, these three girls are lovely talented girl. Maybe it's not so bad to make new friends. Sure they are the grade below you, but you could be a real role model to them. Help them out when needed to, you're a smart kid Kaycee, don't let your differences get in the way of making friends." Miss Robbins said

"Mom. Seriously, I have other things to focus on than friends. Friends take away your focus from school, music. Important things." Kaycee sighed

"Just try." Miss Robbins said

"Fine." Kaycee sighed

"Alright you four go enjoy your break." Miss Robbins chuckled.

The three girls rushed out, Kaycee following behind.

"Amerie are we coming to yours after to school to work on the music project. Also I'm really craving your mom's cookies." Piper asked

"Yeah. My mom said she will help if we need it." Amerie smiled

"It must be cool having a singer as a mom. You basically get concerts at home and know everything like album releases." Piper said

"I guess" Amerie chuckled

"Your mom is a singer?" Kaycee asked

"You don't know her mom? You don't know Taylor Swift." Piper asked shocked

"Of course I know who Taylor Swift is. I just don't stalk humans personal life. Honestly I knew she had a child but I didn't know you were her daughter, Amerie right?" Kaycee asked

"Yeah. Thank you for respecting her personal life." Amerie smiled.

"I like your mom's music, if you're thinking I'm a hater because of that. I just wouldn't say I'm a Swiftie, maybe I am I don't know. I mainly listen to evermore." Kaycee said

"You're a Swiftie then, evermore is unknown and unpopular." Piper said

"I just don't result to labels to define myself. I like her music, doesn't mean I'm a Swiftie. I feel like that's a community or a fandom, I don't want to give myself the label Swiftie or be in a fandom when I don't really know many songs." Kaycee said

"Understandable. Okay let's stop talking about my mom, it gets weird sometimes. To me she's just my mom not a billionaire, celebrity or a pop star. She's just my mom." Amerie sighed

"Yeah sorry Amerie" Piper smiled

"Don't worry about it" Amerie smiled back. "Oh and Kaycee, you're welcome to join us at my house. We can use my mom's studio, if she's not recording a song." Amerie said

"Thank you, I'd actually love to come. Let me just text my mom" Kaycee smiled.

"Well my mom should be waiting outside, she said she'd try to pick me up today if not it's the driver." Amerie sighed

"I'm sure she will be here." Julia reassured

"Yeah hopefully" Amerie said walking out the school building with the 3 girls.

"Amerie." Taylor said. She was wearing a pair of sunglasses and a cap.

"Hey mom, it's okay if Julia, Piper and Kaycee come round, we're going to work on a music project for school" Amerie asked

"Sure. Is Kaycee a new friend?" Taylor asked

"Yeah." Amerie nodded

"Well hi! I'm Taylor, Amerie's mom nice to meet you" Taylor smiled

"Nice to meet you too, err Miss Swift." Kaycee said

"Taylor is just fine" Taylor smiled. "Well girls hop in the car, oh and Amerie, Sab is in the front." Taylor said

"Hi mini T-Swizzle" Sabrina shouted out the car window.

"Hey Sabrina" Amerie smiled

"Wait fucking Sabrina Carpenter is in the car." Piper said

"Language Piper" Taylor said

"Sorry Taylor" Piper chuckled

"Sorry about Piper, she's ADHD and has no filter. I'm Julia." Julia greeted herself to Sabrina

"Oh I already know you two, I've seen Amerie's instagrams. And it's cool I have ADHD too, totally understand being unable to control yourself" Sabrina smiled.

"Well girls into the car" Taylor said sitting in the drivers seat.

"You girls got any songs you want on" Taylor asked

"Erm.." The four replied.

"Yeah shouldn't have asked that question" Taylor said

"Amerie always has good music taste" Sabrina winks.

"Pass the phone" Amerie said.

Sabrina passed the phone that was linked to the car.

"Thank you" Amerie said turning on Alessi Rose.

"Who the fuck is Alessi Rose" Piper asked.

"You're music taste is so basic" Amerie sighed

"You do realise I listen to your mom's music, are you calling her basic" Piper asked

"No, you just don't expand your music taste. You'd like Alessi Rose, she's hot. Hot woman always make great songs." Amerie chuckled

"No shit Sherlock" Piper chuckled.

"Is Alessi Rose the singer you've been spamming Gracie about." Taylor asked

"Yep, I'm doing the fandom a favour trying to convince Gracie to let Alessi open for her UK shows. Just doing my job as an Alessi fan." Amerie smiled.

"If Gracie says no, can Alessi open for you Sabrina" Amerie asked hopefully

"It's a bit late, I'll see though" Sabrina smiled

"Sabrina! Seriously you can't decide who opens for you because my daughter asked for a certain artist." Taylor chuckles

"What she's cute how can I say no to mini T-Swizzle" Sabrina protests

"Alessi really wants to open for Gracie, so I'm not done spamming her with messages. I also manifest it on a daily basis, it's my job. The Alessi fans rely on me, Alessi very much appreciates it. She appreciates it so much we play Dress To Impress together" Amerie chuckled

"I love Dress to Impress, seriously Taylor you should download Roblox and play it. Oh my gosh, let's totally do that today all play Dress To Impress, we can make you a Roblox account Taylor." Sabrina suggested.

"Maybe" Taylor says pulling into the drive way.

"Please, please, please" Sabrina said

"Gosh you're worse than my mom always quoting her own songs" Amerie rolled her eyes.

"Can we just go inside, please I'm starting to get overwhelmed it's getting loud and cramped in here" Julia sighed

"Yeah sure" Amerie said.

"You okay Julia?" Taylor asked

"Yes, the car is just much more quieter when Greg drives us to yours." Julia sighs

"That's because Greg is serious, while Taylor drives like a maniac" Sabrina inputs.

"No I do not" Taylor said slapping Sabrina lightly.

"You so do" Amerie backed up

"See even mini T-Swizzle agrees" Sabrina smiled loving the feeling of having Amerie's back up.

"Just go inside, you two together are a nightmare at times. Amerie you are my child not Sabrina's, yet you agree with her on anything." Taylor laughed

"That's because the carpenter is cool and not an embarrassing millennial" Amerie sasses

"Now this is why I love your daughter" Sabrina laughed. "How do you feel that your daughter likes me better?" Sabrina asked

"Betrayed" Taylor pretended to be hurt.

The 6 of them quickly settled in, Benji, Dibbles and Angelous running over for treats, while Meredith sat on the couch judging the humans with her side eyes.

"Can I give them the treats" Piper asked

"Go ahead, Benji might snatch them out your hands though." Taylor said

"I've not had the chance to meet the kitten. He's adorable, what breed is he?" Sabrina asked

"Ragamuffin" Amerie replied

"Are you the sweetest kitty ever, yeah. Yeah you are" Sabrina said

"I thought you went to animal communication school, where's the meowing and purring?" Piper chuckled

"I did, but I've lost my touch as I got older" Sabrina sighed

"That's a shame. I'm sure your animal communication skills would have been a big help in getting this little kitten to behave, right Angelous" Taylor chuckled giving the cat a treat.

"Can we just get on with the music project it's due tomorrow and I don't want to get distracted" Julia said

"Sure" Amerie nodded

"You girls need any help, me and Sabrina could help if you want us to" Taylor said

"Yes please" Amerie nodded

"Lead the way" Taylor chuckled

The 6 of them rushed to Taylor's music room/studio.
