Chapter 37
11:23, 14 May 2023I'm back from the dead, for now. I apologize for having been away for so long, a lot has been going on. But a surprise for all my readers, while I was gone I have almost finished writing the whole story! So you will be getting a ton of new chapters soon as an apology for my sudden disappearance!————————————————
Crowley's POV
I saw red. Once I entered the corridor where Hana's room was it became apparent to me that her fear this time didn't come from a nightmare. Her door was slightly ajar, and I sensed another vampire close by.With maybe a bit too much force I swung the door open. It flew off of its place and struck the wall on the opposite side of the room. What I saw inside the room made my blood boil. A male vampire was hovering over my mate, drinking from her.Without much consideration I ripped the vampire off of her and threw him to the ground. I had already suspected it to be one of my guests but to my surprise it was Vlad, the older vampire and not Ivon, who had seemed to be a troublemaker when I first laid eyes on him.
All my focus was on the noble, I wanted him to feel as much pain as possible. I stepped on his chest, pinning him to the floor, while taking one of his arms and twisted it, and I kept twisting it until it was backwards.Vlad screamed in pain, but this wouldn't kill him. He would heal in just a couple of seconds as if nothing had happened.I gave him a hard kick directly to his vital organs, he coughed up blood.
Good, I want to see more of his blood.
I would torture him for as long as possible, ideas of starvation and other torture methods were dancing in my mind. The possibilities were endless. He touched something that was mine, and he would pay for it dearly.
Vlad had finally managed to catch his breath and started pleading.
"L-lord Crowley! I-I am so sorry! I didn't know she was so dear to you, I swea-"
I interrupted him by kicking him again. I would make his death as slow and painful as possible.
I however over the cowering vampire now, he was muttering prayers and pleas for mercy. Those would do him no good.
I grabbed him by his throat and lifted him up in the air. His short frame was nothing compared to my hight. His feet were dangling helplessly. His hands clawing at my grip around his throat. I started squeezing harder and harder. My goal was to make his eyes pop out of their sockets, then let him heal, and then do it over and over again. But I stopped myself.
I didn't have time for torture, Hana was on the bed, hopefully still alive. She would need medical attention. I need to keep my temper under control and finish this swiftly. My mate is more important that this low life.
I pulled out my sword, intent on finishing him off quickly when all of a sudden an angelic voice said my name.
"Crowley..."
Although a bit hoarse and groggy sounding I immediately knew it was Hana. All my focus shifted from what I was doing to her. I needed to get to her.I threw Vlad to the ground, piercing him with my sword as to make sure he wouldn't go anywhere anytime soon.
I rushed to Hana's side, kneeling beside the bed. She was bleeding from her neck.Intense guilt struck my heart. I had ripped Vlad from her neck so harshly without thinking, I caused her this injury.I quickly inspected the wound, it wasn't as horrid as I first thought. There was a lot of blood but what still came out of her would stop soon. Non the less I ripped off a piece of my clothes and put it against her neck, hoping the pressure will help it stop bleeding faster.
Then my attention went to my mate. She was looking at me with big eyes. She looked so pale and fragile where she lay. If I hadn't left the building this would never have happened to her, this was my fault.
