Chapter 7 - First task

NARRATOR'S POV

Bluey and Indy went back to class but they were twenty minutes late.

" Girls, just because it's the second day of school doesn't mean you can walk in whenever you want " Their teacher said.

Their homeroom teacher, Mrs Samantha is a German Shepherd.

" We're sorry " Bluey apologized.

" Ok, go take your seats " She said as she pointed to two empty seats at the back.

" Now that we're complete, let me introduce myself, My name is Mrs Samantha, and I'll be your Homeroom teacher, that means I'm in charge of this class and everything that goes on in it, I won't be taking you on any subject, you'll have other teachers for that. I want you to know that I love all my students and I want us to act as one family, so no bullying, no fighting, no Tormenting and no insulting. and if anything is bothering you, feel free to come to me, ok, hope that's understood " She concluded.

" Yes " echoed the whole class.

" Ok, I'm gonna take attendance, so if you hear your name just say present ok " she said

" Ok last but not least, where's Jean luc? " Mrs Samantha asked.

The whole class was silent as everyone looked around and noticed he was not in class.

Bluey looked at Indy who was now her seat partner with a worried face.

" Ok, maybe he's not coming today " Mrs Samantha said. " Anyway, now that that's done your first class is Chemistry so that would be upstairs second class to your left, bye " She said as they walked out of the class.

Indy and Bluey were walking together until Chloe and Coco joined them.

" Where were you guys? " Chloe asked.

" Somewhere " Indy replied rudely as she walked away dragging Bluey along with her.

Coco and Chloe stood there astonished

" What was that for? " Bluey asked Indy when they reached the stairs.

" I'm sorry do you want people to die? " Indy asked Bluey with a serious look on her face.

" What? " Bluey asked.

" Look, rule number two is don't tell anyone anything, the more time we spend with them means the higher the chances of us telling them which puts us and them in danger " Indy said.

" Yeah, you're right, the last thing I want is for someone else to caught in this mess " Bluey said as they finally reached the class room .

They took the last seat near the window.

" Let's review what we got " Indy said as she sat down.

" We are players in this weird game, you're the second player and I'm the third, we are going to be given tasks and we have to obey them or we'll die " Bluey said.

" Yeah we'll be getting our tasks today, so get ready to receive a text from nightmare " Indy said

" Yeah, let me get my phone " Bluey said as she searched for her phone but couldn't find it. " I can't find my phone...I could have sworn I put it here " she said as she continued to look for it. " Where's yours? " She asked.

" I don't know " Indy replied after realizing that she can't find hers

" Maybe we left it Back at the class " Bluey said

" Yeah, let's go check " Indy said as they both ran back to the classroom.

They looked everywhere for their phones but they couldn't find it.

" Maybe we should ask around if anyone has seen it " Bluey said.

" Yeah " Indy replied.

They went back to Chemistry class and rushed over to Chloe and Coco's seat.

" What do you guys want? " Coco asked rudely.

" Sorry for what happened earlier, but have you seen our phones? " Bluey asked

" Nope " Coco and Chloe replied.

The two girls went over to where Rusty, Lucky, Jack and Mackenzie were seated.

" Hey guys, have you seen our phones? " Indy asked

The guys responded no.

The girls left.

" Maybe we should check behind the school where we were talking " Bluey suggested.

" Yeah, let's go " Indy said as they dashed out of the classroom all the way down stairs.

They were still in the hallway but they stopped when they saw Honey. She handed them their phones.They were still very shocked.

" I'm sure you guys were looking for these " Honey said as they collected their phones.

" How did you find it? " Indy asked.

" Easy, I'm the one who took it " Honey replied.

" What, why? " Bluey questioned.

" I wanted to confirm something " Honey replied

" Confirm what? " Indy asked

" Well I actually didn't believe it at first but now I do " Honey replied.

" What are you even talking about? " Bluey asked

" After my research, turns out that nightmare is real " Honey replied which left the girls shocked.

" Oh no, Honey knows about nightmare, rule number two is broken. " Bluey squealed.

" Honey, why would you do that...you've gotten your self into big trouble " Indy said.

" Relax, nightmare doesn't know that I know, so we're in the clear " Honey said.

" Yeah but he knows everything " Bluey said.

The girls got beeps from their phones signifying that they got texted.

" I'm guessing it's our tasks " Indy said as she looked at her text.

NightmareIndy, I like your attitude so don't disappoint me.If I'm not mistaken ( which I'm not ) your class will be partaking in a science fair three days from now.FIRST TASK: win that competition.

At the same time Bluey was reading her own text.

NightmareBluey, you've always been a bold girl, I'd love to see you're performance.FIRST TASK: When Indy wins that competition, smash the trophy.

" What competition? " Bluey asked staring at her phone.

" What's your task Bluey? " Indy asked.

" Nightmare wants me to smash the trophy you'll win, what's yours? "

" I'm supposed to win the science fair competition three days from now " Indy replied.

" Oh, but you're horrible at science " Bluey said.

" I know, how am I possibly gonna win? " Indy complained.

" Well it's a good thing you have me " Honey said.

" Yeah, you're awesome at science, you can help her " Bluey remarked.

" Yeah but there's one problem " Honey added.

" What's that? " Indy questioned.

" Lucky " Honey replied.

" How is he a problem? " Bluey asked.

" He's a Mastermind, I doubt I'll beat his project " Honey replied.

" Yeah, that's a problem " Indy added.

" Ladies, you're forgetting that there's a solution to every problem. All we have to do is sabotage his project " Bluey replied.

" Yeah, that might work " Honey said feeling more confident.

" Ok, Honey makes my project, Bluey and I sabotage Lucky's project and I win " Indy said.

" And then I smash you're trophy " Bluey added.

" Yeah and that too " Indy said.

" So it's finalized, that's our game plan " Honey said.
