29. moving in

eleven months passed by, joshua and yumi's relationship was stronger than ever. joshua still didn't reveal yumi's face whenever he posted about her. fans were so happy for joshua, they never stopped talking about his relationship.

right now, yumi was out with her mother and joshua's mother, they were shopping for new furniture. joshua and yumi decided to move in together, so they could celebrate their one year anniversary together.

they spent almost three hours walking around, entering and exiting many shops, until she found the perfect furniture.

after picking a restaurant to eat lunch, they scanned the menus trying to decide what to order. yumi's phone buzzed and she smiled when she realized it was a message from joshua.

joshua: how's your day going? :) joshua: i have a break, thought i'd check up on you

yumi: so fun! we bought lots of things, we're almost done actually

joshua: hmmm that's good. found everything you liked?

yumi: i did! but i still think you should be here with me :( we need to pick furniture together, something that we both like

joshua: i trust you, i'm sure whatever you picked is perfect! and i can't wait to see it!

yumi: i love you <3

joshua: i love you too baby <3

yumi locked her phone and placed it on the table.

"was that joshua?" joshua's mother asked and yumi nodded. "knew it, you still have that huge grin on your face whenever you text him."

"they're so in love, it's cute!" yumi's mother squealed. "god, you're making us feel old."

"i know right?" joshua's mother laughed. "i miss being this young and in love!"

the two mothers started talking about their past, telling each other stories about everything they did when they were young. yumi just listened and laughed at them. she felt happy both their families got along really well.

after finishing their lunch and paying the bill, they said goodbye to each other. yumi headed to joshua's dorm.

they were almost done with everything in their own apartment. they finished the bathroom, the kitchen and the guest bedroom. yumi bought the furniture for their bedroom, which was going to be delivered during the week, leaving just the living room.

yumi decided to call joshua to check up on him.

"hi babe!" his voice came through.

"hi! how are you doing?" she greeted him happily.

"i'm okay," he answered. "i'm almost done. where do you want me to meet you? your house, or the dorm?"

"dorm," she said. "i'm already here waiting for you."

"alright, i'll be there in an hour."

they said goodbye and hung up.

yumi ordered takeout for her, joshua and the rest of the members of seventeen. she scrolled through her phone for an hour, until the door opened, and all the members walked in one by one, greeting her.

"babe!" joshua walked to her and gave her a kiss.

"hi baby." she smiled as she kissed him back.

"how was shopping?"

"bedroom furniture will be delivered anytime this week," she answered. "we have just the living room left, and we can finally move in."

"ugh, get a room!" seungkwan groaned.

"why are you in my dorm!" joshua glared at him.

"yumi bought us food!" seungkwan stuck his tongue out.

he stuck his tongue out at seungkwan, before turning to yumi. "you always buy us food, or cook for us. and you never let me pay."

"i know you guys are too tired to cook after practicing," she said.

when the members finished eating, they thanked yumi and said goodbye as they left one by one. woozi and hoshi were the only ones who stayed. joshua went to take a shower, leaving yumi with woozi and hoshi.

"so," woozi began. "when are you moving in together?"

"i've no idea," she answered. "probably two or three weeks."

"excited?"

"very." she smiled. "i still can't believe we're actually moving in together."

"well, you basically live together anyway." hoshi laughed. "the only difference is, you won't have me or woozi to disturb you." he winked.

"oh shut up." she laughed. "you guys should come live with us."

"i don't think shua would like that." woozi laughed.

"i won't like what exactly?" joshua walked out, his hair still wet from the shower.

"woozi and i are moving in with you guys!" hoshi said excitedly.

"right." joshua scoffed.

a few minutes later, they said goodbye to each other. woozi and hoshi left to their dorm, while joshua and yumi slept together.

"i can't wait to move in with you." joshua pulled her closer. "we finally have our own apartment."
