Chapter 17
07:34, 3 April 2018Five long months later and April had successful gone back to school and piled herself into her work.
She even has a group of classmates building houses for the homeless. She's also almost close to owning a shelter for homeless children and she couldn't be anymore excited.
Nadia and her are finally back on good terms and going out every chance they have, but Nadia knows April all to well and she knows April isn't happy.
April was never the person to express what she was feeling. Nadia also knew that April only piled herself in work to keep certain things off her mind, and Nadia could tell that she was just a distraction to keep April sane.
All she ever wanted for April was for her to be happy, and clearly April was far from happy.
She barely did the fun things she used to do. Like going out to Dave N' Busters, the movies, or to the club unless Nadia suggested. Sometimes she would barely even eat anything.
She would be tired most off the time and avoid any confrontation coming from Mama June and Nadia. April was slowly drifting away into depression.
But why?
That was the main question.
Janet wasn't doing well either. After April left she never smiled like she did when April was around. Gil even walked in on one of Janet's crying sessions as she cried out for April.
It broke his heart seeing Janet in such a vulnerable state. Janet thought April was going to come back, but she thought wrong.
Month after month tore her apart. While performing on stage she'd hear her fans scream how much they loved her, but that didn't help either.
Sometimes she would look into the sea of screaming fans hoping to see April cheering her on, but to her disappointment April was nowhere to be found.
Now performing wasn't a fun thing anymore. It was just something she was doing, because that's what her fans deserved.

"April I know why you've been acting this way," Nadia sighed sitting across the dinner table from April.
April lifted her head and looked at her confused.
"Acting what way Nadia," she questioned.
Nadia shifted uncomfortably in her seat as April's now dull light brown orbs pierced a hole in her head.
She cleared her throat and said, "Sad, broken, and unhappy. All I want for you is to be happy, and I can see I can't do that for you."
"I know there's someone else April and they deserve you more than I do, because I know that they make you smile and laugh like it's nothing. So with that being said I'm going to bring you to Janet, and you will tell her how you feel."
April's eyes widened at every word Nadia spoke. She was shocked that she knew Janet was the cause of her depression and disturbing behavior. Nadia chuckled at her life long friend's face.
"I know you April."
April smiled for the first time in five months making Nadia smile also.
"You love her don't you," Nadia asked.
April thought about it and sighed. She knew for a fact that she did love Janet.
"I do," April nodded.
"Well what are we doing sitting down? Let's go get your woman," Nadia laughed getting up with April following.
April grabbed Nadia and stopped her, "Thank you Nadia."
Nadia smiled and said, "You're welcome. If I can't be the one to make you happy I rather someone else I know that will make you happy."
They pulled each other into a loving hug before grabbing there jackets and purses heading to the airport.
