Chapter 9: 𝑌𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑟 𝑛𝑜?

After the kiss between Eren and Mikasa, Mikasa has tried her best to keep her distance from Eren to avoid any awkward situation.

Sometimes Eren and Mikasa would always look at each other at the same time and turn away out of embarrassment. Mikasa still kept scolding herself for falling for Eren while Eren was just happy about the kiss. It was Monday afternoon at 12:15 pm, it was lunch time and the group of  youths we're all sitting at the usual table where all the usual things would happen; Connie and Sasha fighting over food, Armin blabbering about stuff to Annie who didn't seem to care but listened for Armin's sake, Ymir and Reiner who we're bickering, Historia who was quietly eating, bertholdt trying to calm down Reiner, Marco and Jean and Eren chatting while Mikasa, as always stayed silent.

Jean would always sneak a few glances at Mikasa which made Eren quite frustrated at the action but tried his best not to cause a scene or fight.

Although Mikasa was quiet the whole lunch, no one really knew what was going on in her head... Eren.

She kept thinking and arguing with her own thoughts if she actually liked Eren or not. Mikasa shook the thoughts out of her head and thought maybe she just kissed him out of appreciation.. yea maybe out of appreciation.

The bell rang and the students checked their timetables and Mikasa, Eren, Armin, Jean, Connie and Annie had a free period so they decided to hang out while the other left to go to their classes.

It was 12:58, 8 minutes after the bell had rang. Mikasa, Jean, Armin, Annie, Connie and Eren we're sitting at the entrance on the benches chatting while time passed by.

"𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗴𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺"-Eren

They all nodded and Eren left.The moment Eren left, Mikasa could see three figures coming towards them, Mikasa didn't know any of them, they we're Floch, Liam and Ken.

"𝗢𝗵 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝗴𝘆"-The red head saidThey all had their eyes on Armin with a smirk forming on their faces.

Armin started getting uncomfortable and before we knew it, the red head landed a solid punch on Armin knocking him down.

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺?!"-Connie

Connie and Jean got pushed by the other two males and Annie was helping up Armin.

Floch ripped the book out of Armin's hand and threw it on the floor making the book open to a page.

"𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲?"-Mikasa said glaring at the red head.

"𝗢𝗵 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳*𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀"-Floch said

Mikasa rolled her eyes and glanced at the book that had just open and read a few lines.

"𝗢𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻, 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗼?"-Floch

"𝗔𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁, 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀"-Mikasa said picking up the book

"𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗰-"-Floch tried saying but was cut off by Mikasa

"𝗬𝗲𝗮 𝗻𝗼, 𝗜'𝗺 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴"-Mikasa said while glaring daggers at the three males

"𝗜'𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁"-Miasa said picking up Armin and his book

"𝗢𝗵 𝘀𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁?"-Floch asked while smirking

"𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗻𝘂𝘁."-Armin said in an angry voice which shocked Mikasa and the others

The two other males tried stiffling a laugh and was glared at by Floch.

"𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆"-Mikasa said

Floch got angry started running towards Mikasa but was stopped by a hand gripping on his wrist.

It was Eren.

"𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵, 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆"-

Eren was glaring daggers at Floch, Floch managed to get out of Eren's grasp and ran away.

"𝗪𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝗽"-Eren said while sitting down

The others chuckled except Mikasa.

Mikasa was still being awkward around Eren since you know what and Eren knew.

Some time passed and it was already last period, the group disbanded and went to their classes.

Eren saw Mikasa at her seat and smirked and walked over to her seat and whispered something in her ear.

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁."

Miaksa could feel his cold breath on her neck and it send shivers down her spine, she ignored him and put her head down.

Eren kept smirking and sat down next to her.

It was after school and the boys and girls we're changing in seperate rooms into their sports wear for the tryouts of the Dubai world school games.

Everyone finished changing and went on the field to be greeted by Ms.Petra, Mr.Miche and Coach Keith Shadis.

A lot of studnets we're confused because they thought it was only Ms.Petra and Mr.Miche but ofcourse the gym teacher came along.

"𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗚𝗢𝗧𝗦, 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 50 𝗢𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗗𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 26 𝗢𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗕𝗘 𝗖𝗨𝗧 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠, 𝗬𝗨𝗣 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗦 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗦𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗨𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗚𝗢𝗧!"-Shadis yelled almost making the kids go deaf.

The kids nodded and they started the drills.

First up Athletics, they spent 40 minutes , then soccer which they spent another 40 and then swimming where they also spent 40.

Everyone was sweating bullets.

"𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱... 𝗼𝗻.. 𝗜.. 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀... 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿... 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁.. 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.. 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲.. 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸"-Connie said through pants.

"𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗺 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗘𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?"- Armin said while on the ground.

Eren only chuckled.

Eren looked over at Mikasa who was pefectly fine.

"𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴?"-Eren asked Mikasa

"𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁"-Mikasa aaid while grabbing her bottle ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Connie, Annie, Armin, Jean, Sasha, Eren,Reiner, Bertholdt and Ymir stared at her.

Mikasa noticed them.

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁?"-Miaksa asked

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳*𝗰𝗸 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴  𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁"-Ymir asked

Mikasa only shrugged and left the field and walked into the girls changing room.

She quickily changed and walked out, she told Levi she would leave school late so he wasn't here so Mikasa decided to go uo to the balcony.

She made it to the balcony and sat down on one of the benches with her phone out.

She took out the scarf Eren gave her and she didn't know how to wrap it she just held it in her hands, she soon fell asleep and someone walked in and picked up her scarf that had fallen on the floor and wrapped it around her neck.

Mikasa felt the soft cloth around her neck and slowly woke and looked up to see Eren sitting next to her.

Eren smiled at her.

"𝘂𝗵𝗺, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗜 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀"-Mikasa said while touching the scarf.

"𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝘂𝗵?"-Eren asked

"𝗜 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝘀"-Mikasa said while averting her attention somewhere else.

"𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮, 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲.. 𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀."-Eren asked

Mikasa cringed at the word kiss but answered

"𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁, 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗜 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲"-Mikasa said looking at Eren

"𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁..."-Eren said while smirking.

"𝗵𝘂𝗵..?"-was all Mikasa could say

Eren didn't know what came over him because he soon leaned in and closed the gap between him and Mikasa.

It was gentle and then Mikasa kissed back and they parted to breath.

Mikasa couldn't help but blush while Eren was smirking still.

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗘𝗿𝗲𝗻, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆"-Mikasa tried saying but was cut off by Eren

"𝗡𝗼, 𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁.."-Eren stopped talking and sighed

"𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂.. 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲?"-Eren asked

"𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱?"-Mikasa asked

Eren nodded and Mikasa looked away

"𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹.. 𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼?"-Eren asked nervously

Mikasa didn't know if she should agree or not until she heard those voices again

~𝑦𝑒𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑤𝑒𝑟, 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑏𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑎𝑙~

Mikasa sighed.

"𝗬𝗲𝘀, 𝗜 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗼"-Mikasa said while blushing

Eren hugged her then kissed her on her forehead.

"𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻"-Eren said while walking out

Even though Mikasa didn't show it, she was actually feeling happy, she thought making friends would only bring her pain and grief, but with Eren in her life, everything seemed better.

She heard a car pull up and it was Levi's. She got up and made her way downstairs and walked towards the car.

She got in and greeted Levi.

They soon made it back home and it was around 6:31 pm, Mikasa changed into some comfortable clothes and did her homework, made some food this time and surprisingly, it was good, she watched some anime and when it was time for bed, she fell asleep thinking about Eren non stop.

𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀, 𝗜 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁.
