chapter 23

every time she laughs,

she hope he's watching. 

hoping that he will fall for her smile, 

just as hard as she fell for his.♡

"don't snapchat me you weirdo." you run away as finn chases you with his camera.

"stop! leave me alone." you giggle as he snapchats you. you grab your phone out as you zoom it close to his face.

"what are you-..no stop it." he giggles to the side as he laughs.

(this is the best look on finn ever, he looks so fucking good holy shit)

he walks behind you as he looks at the snapchat.

"no, ew delete it." he says as he goes to click the delete button as you swing your phone back.

"no you look cute. i'm saving it and posting it." you say as he rolls his eyes.

"fine." he says looking at you, blushing. you look at him as you look at his eyes and lips. he smiles at you, doing the same in return as you blush.

"ya know, you can kiss me." he says as you roll your eyes, a smirk appearing on your face. you smile before kissing his lips as he returns, his soft lips touching yours. 

"can i please take a photo of you right now, you look really good." you say as he covers his face.

"no i don't, fuck off." he says as you put your phone on the couch beside you, before walking over to him and removing his hands, making him look at you.

"trust me wolfhard, you look really fucking good right now. an actual snack." you say as finn giggles as you smile in return.

"a snack, huh?" he says as you giggle.

"yep, a gorgeous snack." you reply as finn smiles.

"fine, but don't post it anywhere. its for your eyes only." he says as you laugh.

"alright. alright." you grab your phone as finn moves into the position that he was in earlier. you take the photo while he isn't concentrating as he hears the snap.

"i wasn't even ready." he says as you blush.

"thats the point, you're attractive to me whether you want to be or not." you say as he walks over to you and hugs you from your waist, kissing your forehead.

you show finn the photo as he rolls his eyes.

"i legit look like a-"

"a gorgeous, cute lil boy? yes, yes you do." you say before kissing his cheek. he smiles at you as he looks down, wrapping his arm closer to your hips as he lays his head on your shoulder. you feel the soft fabric of his black sweater as you move closer to him. 

"can we go on a date tonight?" finn says unexpectantly as you turn around, shocked.

"a date? a real date?" you ask as he nods.

"we haven't gone out together and i want to show you off." he blushes as you laugh.

"when do you wanna go?" you ask, looking at the time reading 7:20pm. 

"now?" he says as you shake your head, laughing.

"okay first off, give me about 15minutes before-hand next time and second, let me just change into a new top." you say as you go to run to finns room to grab your spare top that you left. as you do, finn grabs your hand, twirling you around. you face him as you laugh.

"what?" you say as he pulls you closer.

"can you wear one of my jumpers please?" he says as you laugh.

"your unreleased calpurnia merch? or your 'i love mike wheeler' jumper that you haven't shown me yet." you laugh as finn rolls his eyes, your hands intertwining together. 

"i want you to wear that white jumper i bought the other day, or any jumper i own. i just want to see you in one of my pieces of clothing." he says as you roll your eyes. 

"fineeeeee" you whine as he laughs, kissing your forehead before gently letting go of your hand as you run up the stairs to get ready.

"you look cute as fuck in that jumper." 

you walk down the stairs with a white jumper and black jeans. it was a basic white jumper that finn had bought the other day but it had his scent of cologne, your favourite, so you decided to wear it. you paired it with converse and some few simple rings.

"really? thanks, i kind of feel a tad bit fat in it." you answer honestly as finn pulls you closer towards him.

"oh please, i promise you, you're beautiful to me." he answer as you smile.

"thank you. so where are we going?" you ask as he shrugs.

"wow you're organised, aren't you?" you say as he laughs.

"so organised." he sarcastically answers as you giggle in response.

"I honestly just feel like mcdonalds in total honesty." you answer before his arms open.

"wow, okay, so you're now officially my favourite person. lets go to mcdonalds then." he answers as you laugh.

"we're goals." you say as you hear a giggle from finn, as he takes his brothers keys before calling for nick.

"NICK! CAN YOU DROP ME AND Y/N OFF AT MCDONALDS PLEASE!" finn shouts as he looks down at you blushing, taking your hand before smiling. 

"HOLD ON SHITHEAD!" nick shouts back as you laugh. you catch finn staring at you as he shakes his head, a smile appears on your face.

"what now?" you say as he laughs.

"you just look so beautiful." he says as he makes eye contact with you as you smile at him, wrapping your arms around his waist. you lay your head on his shoulder as his chin rests on your head. you guys wait there just holding each other. the strong smell of finns cologne filled your nose as you melt with the scent. his warm embrace made you feel protected and so cared for, just with one hug. 

as you wait there for nick, you see a flash go off as photo gets taken. you and finn immediately pull apart to see nick taking a photo of you both.

"oh nick piss off." you say as nick laughs.

"i'll send it to you guys both, you guys looked cute." he says as you laugh.

"thanks?" finn answers, as he awkward ushers his head towards the door.

"come on losers, lets go." nick says as you and finn walk out the door and race each other to the car. you both get in as quick as possible, as the cold night air touches your skin. the light from the streets are the only light sources on the road. 

"its so beautiful tonight." you say to finn as he smiles.

"yeah, sure is a beautiful moonlight vibe." he says as you laugh.

you see finns phone goes off as you grab it, checking the image that nick had taken of the both of you.

"wow, i wanna post this."

you show finn as he looks at it.

"this is actually...cute?" he says as you laugh.

"why are you shocked?" you say as he shrugs.

"i don't know. just, its something different." you say.

"cause it actually looks like-"

"where are you guys going again?" nick says as he gets in the car. 

"mcdonalds please." finn says as he takes your hand. you move closer to finn as you lean your head on his shoulder.

"you tired miss l/n?" he says as you laugh.

"just shut up wolfhard and let me be affectionate." you say as he chuckles. he slowly wraps his arm around as you as you lay closer to him.

you guys both wave goodbye to nick as you arrive to mcdonalds.

"you know what we should do?" you say to finn as he looks at you.

"what?" 

"we should go down to the river and eat our mcdonalds there, so then no can see us and we can be alone." you say as finn nods.

"that will be relaxing, lets do that." he answers, as you smile at him. you didn't realise though, people are still going to see you at mcdonalds.

you walk in and immediately are greeted with some teenagers sitting a table gossiping on their phones. you look at them and see them look at finn and you. the last one that looks up notices finn and you both make eye contact, as her eyes go wide. she immediately starts gossiping to her friends, you realising that she knows finn. 

"someone has already spotted you." you run beside finn, as he turns around and makes eye contact with the girl that you had spotted before.

"and now their taking photos. awesome." he says as you turn around. you see her get her phone out taking a photo of finn.

"is this going to be okay? you know, since you have never hung out with a girl alone before?" you say as finn shrugs.

"i said i wanted to show you off, so thats what i'm doing. i don't care what people say." you look at him as you smile. you take his hand and giggle.

"you have no idea how much i want to kiss you now." you say as he looks at you. without any hesitation, he leans in and kisses your cheek. he knows the girls are taking photos but you couldn't give too shits. you were so happy that finn had truly changed, for you and him. 

"you didn't...you didn't need to do that." you say as you blush, wrapping your arm around his waist.

"no but i wanted to." he says as you feel your heart go warm. he wraps his arm arounds your waist as you both wait in the line. you unlink when the person asks for your order.

"hi, how can i help you guys today." she says, not looking up from the screen.

"yeah, can i please just get two large cheeseburger meals with one water and one...sorry what drink do you want?" finn asks as you look up.

"just a chocolate milkshake, thanks." you say as he nods.

"and a chocolate milkshake please." he says as he smiles. the girl taps on the screen as she takes down your order.

"okay, that will be-" she looks up and immediately her eyes go wide.

"oh my gosh, hi finn." she says as she covers her mouth, shocked. you giggle as she looks at you.

"and you're with y/n, oh my gosh this is so cool." she starts shaking and smiling as you couldn't help but smile back.

"hi there. your name is?" you ask, smiling towards her as she tries not to cry.

"i'm bella." she softly says as you giggle at her freak out.

"hi i'm y/n and obviously you know who this idiot is." you say as finn looks at you and glares.

"hi bella, i'm finn. nice to meet you." he says as you smile at him before smiling back at bella.

"can i please get a photo with you guys. i don't have my phone on me though." she says as you smile.

"of course and allow me." you take out your phone and take a quick snapshot of you too as you put it back.

"i'll put it on insta for you, you can screenshot it there." you say as she smiles.

"thank you guys so so much, i'm honestly a huge fan of strangers things and i can't wait for you to be on it. alex seems like such a cool name for a new character." bella says as you smile.

"she's awesome, can't wait for everyone to meet her." you say as bella giggles in response.

"you can have your meal for free, it's on the house. my boss will be happy if i tell him that you guys were here. he'll probably put the photo of us on the wall." bella says as you laugh.

"well we'll be honoured and thank you so much for the free meal. it was so good to meet you." finn says as bellas cheek start to turn pink.

"you're welcome. see you guys on the screen." she replies back as you both wave away. you both smile at her as you walk off.

"well, we have now seen two fans so thats great. i guess people might definitely know we're hanging out now." you say as finn laughs.

"you realise i don't care at all? i want to show you off, i'm not taking that back." finn says as he then leans in for a real kiss. you smile at him before he does as you kiss him back. as he pecks your lips, you blush at him.

"you really want this to work?" you say as he nods.

"i really do." he says as he kisses you again.

i'm legit gonna update again right after this chapter goes out

sorry for the slight delay but i'm getting back

two weeks i won't be able to update at all because of exams but don't worry, thats why i'm updating all now

then afters exams, holidays where every second day i'm try and get a chapter up. don't quote me on that though.
