Chapter 26 : Something New

Jiyeon's POV

"Hi, guys!" I said, smiling widely.

Their tired faces lighted up as they saw me. They all gathered around me and Seonghwa. They seemed so happy to see me and so was I.

"What a surprise, noona!" Wooyoung said.

"Thank Seonghwa. It was his idea... By the way, I'm also surprised to see your new hair colours."

Their new hair colours really suited them as if the colours were made for them.

"How's mine?" Jongho asked.

"You look like a cute apple."

"Then I'm a blueberry," Hongjoong said. We all giggled.

"But all of you look so good with those hair colours. Atiny would go crazy when they come to know about it."

"I hope they like it," Mingi said.

"Like it? They'll love it. I guarantee it... So how's your practice going on. I heard you all missed me."

"Yes, we missed you so much," San said in pout and hugged me.

"Me too, San," I said when he pulled back.

"I want a hug too," Mingi said and opened his arms. I went to him and hugged him. So eventually, I ended up hugging all the seven of them.

"I think someone is jealous right now," Hongjoong said.

I followed his gaze which landed on Seonghwa. He really looked jealous. I chuckled and went to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him.

"Happy now?" I asked as I looked up at him, smiling.

"Uh..." He was blushing.

He's too cute to resist.

I stood beside the large mirrors in the front to watch their performance. Now they were practicing Growl by EXO.

"You're performing Growl?!" I said in shock.

"Yes and you're the first person to know it," Yeosang said.

"Ah, really?!"

"And keep it a secret from Atinys," Hongjoong said.

"Of course. Your secret is safe with me. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about it."

"Let's start then," Yunho said.

Jongho was still recovering from his leg injury so he wasn't practicing the choreography for the time being, only vocal practice.

"I'll play it now," Jongho said as the rest of them took their positions.

The music was played and they started their amazing performance. I cheered fot them; Atiny mode on.

As soon the practice ended, they all plopped on the floor, panting. I passed them some bottles of water and sat across them.

"Woah!! It was so amazing!! How do you bring so much energy?" I said.

They all shrugged and that too in sync. ATEEZ is definition of performance. And the level of energy the put into it... They are just too good at it.

It was already evening now. So I thought I should leave now.

"Guys, I think I should leave now," I said as I stood up.

"Already?..." Jongho said and pouted.

"I too don't want to leave but I have to go now."

"I'll come with you," Seonghwa insisted.

I waved at them and headed out of the company.

"I'll walk you home," Seonghwa said.

"It's okay. I can go by myself."

"You sure?"

"Of course. I'm not a kid." I folded my arms, raising my eyebrows.

He ruffled my hair. "Araseo."

"I'll get going then."

We waved at each other and I headed towards home.

On my way back home, I saw Wookyung.

"Wookyung!" I shouted but he didn't listen to me.

"Is he deaf or what?!"

I was going to shout again when some other guy came and took Wookyung with him.

"Is he mad at me again? We haven't talked since days."

I frowned and walked back home.

Eunseo's POV

I was out with my friends, drinking at a bar. We were just chatting and giggling together.

"So what about your crush?" Dayeon asked.

I chuckled. "Just... I stopped liking him." I took a sip from my glass.

"But you liked him a lot."

"I wanted to date him but he already likes someone else."

"Don't worry, you'll get a better guy than him."

I chugged the whole content in one go and kept the glass on the table with a thud. I sighed.

"By the way, isn't it him?"

"Hm?"

She pointed to somewhere so I followed her gaze and spotted Wookyung sitting with a group of guys, drinking.

What is he doing here?

Soon I had to leave. So I waved at my friends and headed out of the bar.

But when I was going to walk in my direction, I spotted Wookyung stumbling with his walk some distance away from me.

"Wookyung! He turned back to face me.

"Uh... Eunseo..." he said in his drink voice.

I sighed and went to him. "You shouldn't walk alone like this."

"What are you doing here?" He was about to fall so I held him.

"Why did you drink so much?"

I put one of his arm around my neck and held his waist so that he doesn't fall.

"I was just... upset with something. I..."

I was having problem in walking with him like that but we both somehow made our way to his home.

"Eunseo-yah~ Eunseo-yah~" He kept calling my name as we walked.

"Ah, seriously!..." I was so frustrated. "We're here. I'll get going now." I was about to walk away but he stopped me.

"Why doesn't she like me back?... Waeyo?" I turned back to face him and sighed.

He's still not over her.

"Just move on." By saying that, I walked away from there.

Just move on... It's easier said than done.
