Chapter 25 : Dance Practice

Seonghwa's POV

I walked her home. We both walked whilst holding hands. I was still a bit awkward cause it's the first time for me to date someone.

Because it's my first life...

We reached her home and I asked her to get in first.

"You can go ahead," she said.

"You go in. I'll watch you from here."

"Okay..."

I watched her from behind as she walked towards her door. She paused in her steps and turned back to look at me. I just smiled at her.

Then she came back to me and tiptoed to reach my height. The next thing I know was that she pecked my cheeks. I felt my heart skip a beat at that moment.

"Good night Seonghwa."

"G-Good night."

She went in and closed the door. I took a deep breath and exhaled. I could feel my heart beating violently in my chest.

"She's driving me crazy." I ruffled my hair and turned on my heels to walk back home.

It's already midnight but wasn't able to sleep. I was just smiling widely while recalling all the moments with Jiyeon.

"Should I text her? Okay, let's see if she's awake."

What are you doing?

I waited for some time and then the reply came.

I'm about to sleep.

Okay go to sleep. And don't daydream at work.

Okay...

I sent her a video message.

Good night, Jiyeon-ah~

And waited for the reply. I quickly looked at the phone screen when the notification came. She also sent a video message.

Good night, Hwa~

"Ah~ She said 'Hwa'..."

I rolled back and forth on my bed as I heard it with her voice.

"Ah, my heart!"

Jiyeon's POV

"AHH~"

I screamed in the pillow. I watched his video message for like nth time.

"Why is he so cute?!"

And I couldn't sleep the whole night eventually.

"Yah! Wake up!" Jina said, shaking me.

"Huh? Was I dozing off?" I said before yawning.

"Didn't you sleep last night?"

"I couldn't..." I smiled widely, cupping my cheeks.

"Yah!"

I snapped out of my thoughts. "Ah mian." I rubbed the back of my neck.

"You're behaving like a lovestruck person."

"Well..." I blushed.

Then a costumer entered the cafe.

"Welcome..."

Am I daydreaming again?!

I blinked for a couple of times and then realized that I wasn't.

"Hi, Jiyeon-ah," Seonghwa said. He greeted Jina too.

"Uh, hi..."

"Did your shift end?"

"Not yet–"

"Jiyeon your shift has ended. Don't you remember?" Jina said.

"Uh?" I looked at Jina in confusion. She just winked at me.

Then I looked at Seonghwa. "Ah...I forget that my shift has already ended." I laughed awkwardly.

"Let's go then."

"Just a minute..."

Jina helped me this time too. She's that kind of best friend anyone can ever get. I mouthed 'khumawo' to Jina and left with Seonghwa.

"Where are we going?" I asked him as we were walking to where God knows.

"You'll know eventually." I pouted.

I hate suspense...

"By the way, you look different today," I inspected him from head to toe. I gasped. "You changed your hair color?!"

"So you noticed."

"It really suits you... Actually every hair color would suit you."

"Thanks." He then ruffled my hair.

After some minutes of walking, we finally reached our destination. And now we're standing in front of it. It was the KQ Entertainment building.

"It's your company..." I said, eyes wide open.

"Yeah, I know."

"But why did you bring me here?"

"Just... The members missed you so much and I wanted to show you our singing and dance practices."

I gasped. "For real?" He nodded. "Oh my gawd!!"

I'll watch them practicing?! I'm gonna faint now.

"Let's get in." I nodded.

He took me inside the building. He bowed to some of the staffs on our way and so did I.

We took the stairs to go to the third floor. I was walking quickly as I was so excited to see the others. Seonghwa was behind me as he was walking a bit slower than me.

But then I thought to ask him something. "But–" My breath stopped when I turned back.

Seonghwa was walking behind me so when I suddenly turned back, he stopped right in front of me.

And now his face was just a few inches away from mine. I was a step above his so he was at my eye level now. I wasn't able to move. I literally stood there frozen. And he too didn't move. He was staring straight into my eyes.

I thought that I couldn't take it anymore so I moved a step to my right and exhaled. I was too flustered to look at him in the eyes. I somehow calmed myself down and asked him.

"Ah, I wanted to ask... will it be okay for me... to watch you all... practice?" I still wasn't able to look at him.

"Yeah, I already took manager-nim's permission about it."

"Alright..." I nodded.

Seonghwa opened the door of the practice room and entered in first.

"Guys," he called the other boys.

Some of them lying on the floor, some practicing individually. All of them turned their attention towards him.

"We have a guest here."

I popped out from behind him. "Hi, guys!"
