Chapter 27 : Injury?!

Jiyeon's POV

I had a day off so I thought to spend my day doing chores. I cleaned the house, watered the plants, etc.

And after that I took a bath as I sweated a lot. I dried my hair with the blow drier and sat on the bed.

I was just going through some posts on Twitter when I saw something shocking. It was a letter posted by ATEEZ in their fancafe. My eyes widened on reading it.

"Seonghwa's hip INJURY?!"

I was shocked and worried at the same time. After reading the whole thing I got more worried.

"I just saw him a day ago, he was totally fine and now... I need to go see him."

The post told that it was just a minor injury but I was still worried about him. I wanted to check if he's alright now so I called him. After some beeps he finally picked up.

"Uh, Jiyeon–"

"Where are you now?"

"At home. Why?"

"I'm coming there right now."

"But–"

Before he could speak anything else I ended the call and headed towards their dorm. I literally ran the whole way.

I took a few moments to catch my breath and knocked at the door. I was so worried that I could cry anytime.

The door opened, revealing Seonghwa. I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. And started to sob.

"Do you know how much worried I was?"

"I'm fine. Don't worry..." He caressed my head. I was still sobbing whilst holding him.

He pulled back. "Now stop crying." He wiped my tears away with his thumb and led me in.

"Where are the others?" I sat on the couch.

"At the company. They still have to perform in KCON." He too sat beside me. "I'll be participating only in the meet and greet event."

"You would be able to sing, right?"

He shook his head. "I can't sit on a chair for too long so I won't be able to sing also."

"Yah... you should have been more careful." I hit his arm lightly.

"Ah it hurts..." He acted dramatically.

"I didn't hit you that hard... But why didn't you tell me about this earlier? I literally ran from my house on reading the post."

"I didn't want to make you worried," he said and pouted. "Sorry..."

I sighed. "Okay... And promise me that you would be more careful from next time."

"I would be more careful from now on."

"Promise me." I showed my pinky finger.

He chuckled and locked his pinky finger with mine. "Promise."

"It's a relief that the injury is not that severe." I let out a sigh of relief.

"You worry a lot, don't you?"

"Who wouldn't be worried?" I pouted and folded my arms.

"I'm alright as long as I'm with you." He hugged my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Is it one of those pick up lines that you tell Atiny?"

"I never told that to anyone else except you." He pouted. I just chuckled at his cuteness.

I stood up. "Okay... Get up."

"Why?"

"Just get up already." I helped him to get up. "You need to rest. Don't you want to recover quickly and see Atiny?"

"Yes but–"

"You need to rest for now." I dragged him to his room. "Lay down." I pointed to the bed.

"I don't want to. It's so boring just to lay on the bed the whole day."

"You can watch dramas."

"I've watched all the dramas."

"There would be many more... Just rest for now." I made him lay on the bed.

"I don't want to..." He was acting like a kid.

"No, you need to rest."

"I don't want to!" He started whining.

I sighed. "Then what do want to do?"

"Cuddle."

"What?"

"Cuddle... Cuddle me to sleep." He opened his arms. "Hm?"

"No!"

"Ah, why?~"

"Nope!"

"Aaaiiiiing~" *makes cute noises*

"Okay, okay... Want to watch some dramas?" He nodded.

Seonghwa's POV

So now we both were lying on the bed, on our stomach and watching dramas in the laptop.

There was a funny scene to which we laughed together.

"It's so hilarious," she said as she couldn't stop laughing.

I chuckled and took some time to admire her. She looked so happy. She looked so cute. I felt so happy to have her as my girlfriend. Just by remembering her name makes me smile.

I wish we could stay like this forever. I wish you could always stay by my side. You are the cause of my euphoria.
