Meeting Team 7 and 5

______________________________________When Zeref saw the reflection of the sun bouncing off his newly acquired Headband, he didn't hesitate to continue training. If the sun was glinting off it, it meant that it was early morning and he still had a few hours before he met his team.

Sweat started to pour of the boy in heaps as me smashed another dummy to bits.

He thought about everything that he's done so far.

He needed a more advance book on seals, but they were all locked away in the Hokage's Library.

He needed more information on Itachi and Shisui, but again Hokage's Library.

What he really needed was a distraction.

Nothing that would get his friends killed, but something large enough so that draw all the ANBU out of the Hokage's office.

Honestly he could only hope something came along, he really didn't want to do it himself.

"Zeref" a voice called, it felt cold, but Zeref knew there was warmth when it spoke his name.

"Hn?" The boy replied, again unaware that he said the very same noise that he hates.

"We get our teams in an hour" he said.

Zeref stopped his punch a few inches away from the tree. He put on his sleeveless hoodie, and gulped down his bottle of water that he brought with him.

"Let's go then, I know how early you like to be" Zeref stated as he looked at his non direct blood brother.

"Hn" the boy replied.

"I hate that noise Sasuke" Zeref muttered.

"You made it a few seconds ago" he argued.

"Do as I say not as I do" Zeref muttered back.

Sasuke kept quiet for a while knowing that Zeref would never admit he made that noise.

"Hn"

Sasuke bolted off into a run to the academy, Zeref not to far behind.

The chase soon turned into a race, Zeref produce a shadow clone and made it stay behind Sasuke while he took a short cut to the academy.

When the real Zeref entered the classroom it was empty, so he took his usual seat behind Sasuke.

When Sasuke entered he had a smug look on his face, until he saw Zeref in his usual spot trying to make a Gravity enhancer seal.

"Hn?" Sasuke grumbled out, annoyed that yet again he had lost to Zeref.

"Clone" Zeref muttered.

Sasuke looked behind him just in time to see the clone dissapear in a puff of smoke.

Zeref swore he saw Sasuke's eye twitch before he went to sit down in his usual spot.

Sasuke got bored and realised that they had around 20 minutes until the others start to arrive, he stood up and sat next to Zeref.

"What are you doing?" Zeref asked.

Sasuke didn't answer.

Zeref looked up and looked at Sasuke only to find the boy staring so intently at his eyes.

Sasuke couldn't hear anything he didn't know what came over him but he just wanted to stare.

Neither would break the eye contact.

Zeref remained impassive.

Sasuke could feel his heart steadily picking up the pace.

A light barely noticable blush dusted across his face and reddened the top of his ears.

Sasuke couldn't stop staring at the beautiful abyss that was Zerefs eyes.

The two were stuck almost like a picture.

Zeref broke first.

Zeref heard the light foot steps of a few students and looked away from Sasuke.

The movement was enough to snap the younger Uchiha out of his trance. Sasuke immediately sat back in his seat and gazed out of the window.

He subtly held his hand over his heart and clenched it tightly. He couldn't comprehend why his heart was racing.

Why was he so out of breath?

Why did he want to hold him?

Didn't he only view Zeref as a brother?

No

He wanted more.

But why?

Sasuke didn't know?He looked back at Zeref only to see him focusing on his seals.

It disappointed him a bit to know that he wasn't as affected by their moment as he was.

Zeref was focusing on his seals to take his mind of that moment.

His heart wasn't racing.He didn't blush.

Nothing.

He didn't know why Sasuke went red. He assumed that the boy was catching a cold.

He didn't know why Sasuke was staring at his eyes so intently, he assumed it was his way of trying to figure out the Sharingan.

If anything this incident only made his determination to keep Sasuke safe greater.

For a guy who Is living his second life, he was really dense.

Both boys finally took notice of their surrounding once the door was slammed open, but two girls.

Zeref went back to his seal once again, and turned out the class, he couldn't afford to make a mistake, one mistake could mean his life.

With patience and pure grace he gained from being around Mikoto too much, he finally finished the seal.

He had no idea if it would work or not, but if it did it would be the best thing he's ever made as it had multiple uses.

Zeref really just hoped it wouldn't explode like so many others had done before, honestly he was getting sick of thinking of new ways to escape the Hospital.

He never liked them, in this world or he one before.

Zeref noticed the class was silent, so when he looked up and saw the younger Uchiha kissing the local loud mouth, his eyes could only widen.

"I never knew you swung that was Sasuke" he stated.

Sasuke threw naruto off him, and chose to ignore the comment Zeref made.

Naruto rolled around like his mouth was on fire.

Iruka walked in and started announcing the teams.

Zeref was ignoring everything until he heard his name.

"Team 5, Katsu Shinsogu, Zeref Uchiha and Mika Himiko."

Zeref thought about his team mates and thought back throughout the academy.

They never stood out, they were Civilian born.

Katsu is good with Taijutsu but Zeref remembered him saying he wanted to focus on something else, what it was he couldn't remember.

Mika, she was good with Genjutsu if he was Correct, she had great Chakra controll and wasn't half bad at Taijutsu.

He had interesting teammates, it made an interesting team.

Zeref was great with all three.

Katsu was great with Taijutsu and above average in Ninjutsu.

Mika was Great with Genjutsu and above average with Taijutsu.

He only added that it was a bonus that she was one of the few who weren't fan girls.

In other words, team 5 was an all rounder team, either frontline or back up.

Zeref came out of his thought process when he heard his fellow clan mate and his friend.

"Team 7, Sakura Haruno Naruto Uzumaki--"

Iruka was cut off by two noises.

"YEAH!!" Came from the blond loud mouth.

"I'm Doomed!" Came from the pinkette.

"And Sasuke Uchiha" Iruka finished.

The other two had their reactions swapped, now Sakura was cheering and Naruto was sulking.

Sasuke heard his teammates and wasn't happy about who they were.

He wanted Zeref to be on his team, but he had two people that could actually be somewhat useful despite being Civillian born.

"Team 8, Hinata Hyuuga, Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame" Iruka announced. (Sp?)

Zeref was wondering who his Sensei would be, he kept running through the bingo book but no one came to mind.

"Team 10, Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara and Choji Akamichi" Was the final team announcement.

They were released for lunch and told to meet back in the classroom to be collected by their sensei.

Zeref went straight to the roof and apparently his two teammates had the same idea.

They all sat in a circle eating their Bento.

"Well we should introduce ourselves, we will be on the same team for a while" Zeref stated.

"Hai!!, oh man!! I'm so glad I got you two! I thought I was gonna be stuck with two slugs! Hehehe" Mika stated loudly.

Zeref assed she was a hyper one.

"Uhh, sure I guess if were going to have to work together we should know each other best." Katsu stated.

Zeref noticed that he would be the more chill one of the group.

"Oh oh I'll go first! Ahem, Hi guys I'm Mika Himiko, I like training, dogs and Helping others. I dislike Fangirls, Idiots and Snakes. My dream is to be a Jounin Sensei so I can pass on my intellect without being stuck in a classroom." She announced.

Katsu gave a heavy sigh before putting his chopsticks down.

"Fine I guess I'll go next. Umm, I'm Katsu Shinsogu, I like Kenjustu, reading and the sun. I dislike Fangirls, Noise, Cockiness and a family member of mine. My dream is to become a member of the ANBU so I can prove someone wrong" he stated.

"Hn, guess it's my turn, I'm Zeref Dragneel Uchiha. I like my Brother, my favourite spot on the cliff, training, reading and experimenting with Seals. I dislike too much loud noise, Fangirls and people who lie for stupid reasons. My dream, well it depends, it's to find someone and get the truth, but depending on their answer will decide if I kill him where he stands or drag him back here kicking and Screaming." Zeref said.

The other two raised an eyebrow at that.

"Hmm you two seem alright, I guess all we need now is Sensei" Katsu said.

"You mean me?" A voice said they all looked up and saw their now Sensei.

The male gave a heavy sigh before rolling his eyes.

"Lunch is over idiots, I was supposed to collect you in the classroom, what a pain" the man said.

Zeref raised his eyebrow before digging into his Dango.

"Hey! Your our sensei right!!? Well introduce your self!!" Mika Loudly stated.

The man gave another sigh.

"Well thankfully I heard your introductions since I was asleep up here. Umm, what a pain, I'm Neisho Nara, I like sleep, I dislike being woken up and lateness. My dream, well that's not important, and a pain to explain." He sighed.

Zeref now seeing the whole team gave a curious look, this was interesting.

"Umm, *sigh* meet me at training ground 5 by the river at 8 am tomorrow. This will be the test that decides if you stay Gennin or not, don't be late." He said giving a hefty yawn at the end.

Neisho disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

"Well I'm going to go focus on my Kenjustsu, see ya later" Katsu stated.

"Oh man, I need to work on my Taijutsu, cya Zeref!" Mika announced.

The two left Zeref on the roof alone.

Zeref headed back to the classroom to meet Sasuke.

When he walked in and saw only the newly announced Team 7 he raised his eyebrow.

"Zeref!! Our sensei isn't here yet!!" Naruto shouted.

Sakura got annoyed.

Sasuke looked done with life.

Zeref sat next to Sasuke who could feel his heart beat steadily increasing.

"Why don't you head home?" Sasuke managed to get out without Stuttering.

"I want to see who your sensei is" Zeref said.

Naruto put a board duster on the door as a prank.

When the man finally walked In a mop of Silver hair was dusted white.

"My first impression is..... I hate you" the man said.

Zeref recognised him as Kakashi Hatake one of the Ninjas who escorted him to the Hokage when he went on his trip last year, and the man who gave him his Tails of a Gutsy Ninja book.

"Oh it's you Kakashi" Zeref said.

"Zeref, why are you here? Your on team 5 with Neisho." He said.

"I wanted to see who would be the sensei of my self proclaimed brother and best friend." He stated calmly.

"Interesting, want to join?" The man asked.

"Sure" Zeref said Kakashi gave a nod of approval.

"Meet me on the roof" Kakashi announced dissapearing in a cloud of smoke.

All four Gennin headed up to the roof.

"How do you know him?" Sasuke asked Zeref.

"Uhh, he gave me my book and escorted me to the Hokage once" he replied.

Sasuke who approved of the answer gave a small nod.

"Hn"

When they arrived on the roof they all sat down on the stairs.

Sasuke and Zeref in the middle, Naruto on Zeref's left, and Sakura on Sasuke's right.

"Ok let's introduce ourselves." Kakshi said.

"Huh? How sensei?" Sakura asked.

Zeref wasnstarting to doubt her top Kunochi title.

"You know, name, likes, dislikes, hobbies, dreams" Kakshi stated quite bored of the kids already.

"Why Don't You start, so we can see how it's done, beleive it!!" Naruto shouted.

Kakshi gave a heavy sigh.

"Fine, I'm Kakashi Hatake. Likes and dislikes I don't feel like telling you that. Hobbies? I have lots of hobbies. Dreams, haven't really thought about it." He said.

He gave a closed eye smile while the whole of team 7 stared at their sensei like he's an idiot.

"Well why doesn't blondie go first" Kakshi stated.

"ALRIGHT!! I'm Naruto Uzumaki, Belive it!! I like Ramen, especially the Ramen Iruka sensei gets me. I hate the three minutes you have to wait after pouring the water into the Ramen cup. My hobbies are eating different types of Ramen and comparing them. My dream? It's To Become The Hokage!! That way everyone will stop disrespecting me and will look up to me." He said.

Kakshi was surprised at the way he grew up.

Sakura seems annoyed at his shouting.

Sasuke wasn't paying attention.

Zeref was working on a new seal.

"Ok pinkie is up next"

"I'm Sakura Haruno, I like... umm who I like is uhh *glances at Sasuke*, uhh my hobbies, *Squeel*, my Dream To *Screech*"

All four males just stared.

"Umm, right and your hates?" Kakashi said as the first to snap out of it.

"NARUTO" She shouted.

The poor boy looked like he had been shot, though why it had affected him so much is a mystery.

"Umm ok, broady "

Sasuke sat up.

"Sasuke Uchiha, I like very little, and Hate alot. Hobbies training, Dream, no, my ambition is to kill someone."

Kakashi had a look of sucpision.

Zeref had a look of annoyance.

Naruto had a look of fear.

Sakura..... she was fangirling.

"Ook... finally, our intruder." Kakashi stated.

"I'm only here to decide weather or not you are worthy of training my brother, and best friend." Zeref said.

"Yes well your here so introduce yourself."

Zeref stopped drawing his seal and gave a hefty sigh.

"Fine, it won't be as detailed as the one I gave my team. I'm Zeref Uchiha, I like Experimenting with my seals. I hate fangirls. I read as a hobby. My dream is to hopefully Save someone and learn the truth" he said.

Kakashi and Sasuke looked confused.

No one payed attention to Sakura.

Naruto looked relieved.

"Anyway, now that I've seen who is in charge the idiot duo, I'm going to go prepare. Good luck team 7" Zeref said. He gave a quick salute before jumping off to the training ground. He wanted to get some extra training in before he met his team the next day.

Zeref was actually happy that the training field they would be using is the one right at the bottom of his thinking cliff.

When the sun was setting Zeref sat next to Shisui's shrine and told him all about his day. Who his team was. His sensei.

He even spoke about how much research he's found for trying to find out what actually happened that night, and spoke about his theory on who has Shisui's other eye.

He couldn't wait to get started, tomorrow would be his first step towards the truth.
