✮⋆˙ Spilled spaghetti

I HAD WON THE RACE AND I WAS FUCKING BUZZING, Kieran obviously came in second with Angel in 3rd, Cobalt in 4th and Drift in last
Drift wasn't too happy about that, after he had lost he gave me a quick goodbye before leaving in strop. He was a sour loser, and the pressure of impressing Elodie made it worst
But I wasn't that much focused on that, I was riding the high of my pride and triumph. I was on top of the world and nothing could bring me down
I had beaten Kieran, stealing away his chance at having a streak. He looked pissed when he stepped out of his car, didn't take his eyes off me until I disappeared into the after party
My hips were now moving to the beat of the booming music that threatened to deafen me at the loudness. Not that I cared, just kept dancing with a grin at my lips as I tossed my hair back
These were the moments I lived for, these infinite feelings that make me feel actually alive
Like I wasn't just a ghost inhabiting a broken girl's skin
Ah, ah, ah, no sad girl talk tonight. I had created a rule for myself, every time a fucked up thought crossed my mind, I drink
So far I was three drinks into a killer hangover tomorrow, but the Danny of tomorrow could worry about that at a later date
Weaving through the masses of people, skin brushing on skin as I did so. I somehow managed to make it to the bar though, where it was a little bit quieter
Sliding onto one of the free bar stools beside an older man and some girl, I leaned over and whistled to get the bartenders attention
"Jerry, my favourite man" I slurred, chuckling as I poked a finger into his cheek "Another margarita, extra tequila"
He nodded, grabbing the cocktail shaker from in front of him "Of course, Crimson. Saw your win, congratulations"
"Why thank you" I said, fingers tapping the beat of the music on the wooden bar. A few moments later when my drink was finally made, I thanked Jerry again before taking a large gulp
The alcohol burned as it went down, tickling down my throat as I took another long sip. Exhaustion from the dancing creeped into my legs, but with another sip I willed it away
"Crimson!" I thought I heard someone call, but when I turned my head to search for the culprit there was no one even glancing in my direction
Weird
I didn't think that hard about it, just turned back to my drink and brought it to my lips, the liquid filling up my mouth
I stayed at the bar for another few minutes, finishing my drink. Then I suddenly had the urge to pee, like urgently. All the drinks finally catching up to me
Hopping off my seat, my tall heels clicking as I made my way to the bar, twirling as I did so
The bathrooms here were weirdly alright and not that unsanitary although people are always fucking outside them, but I guess that was there business
Once I was finished, I pushed open the door to my stall and inspected my hair in the mirrors. Quickly applying some lip gloss with a devilish smirk playing on my lips, when I was satisfied with my looks I finally left
But the second I stepped out of the bathroom, a weird feeling suddenly hit me
Like I was underwater, everything around me became distant and muffled. The flashing lights now stung at my eyes, swirling in my gaze, neon stretching into weird shapes infront of me. I think I heard laughter from beside me but it sounded warped and too growly for it to be human
My hands instinctively moved to my ears, but my limbs felt like jelly, as if they didn't belong to me. Just something far away and disconnected from me. Hitting my back against something hard startled me, I think it was a wall but it was vibrating from the deafening music, as if it was alive
I forced myself to look around, faces of unknown people blurred, mouths moving but no words ever leaving their mouths. When I blinked with heavy lids it was almost as if an eternity had passed
Time had no meaning anymore, it slipped through my fingers like smoke. A thousand years could have passed I wouldn't even know
The walls started to close in on me as I panted, breath ragged and erratic. Collapsing into a heap on the floors the walls continued to breathe around me, stealing away all the oxygen in my lungs
I couldn't form a single coherent thought, my brain scattered like spilled spaghetti
No, not spaghetti. Like, like, like...
Fuck I didn't know
My body didn't feel right over my bones, like it was an uncomfortable skin that I needed to shed. My mind had left it completely, I felt like I was floating above myself
Voices echoed around me, too fast but yet too slow for me to catch a word. The panic had completely faded, leaving me with this fuzzy dim feeling
I think someone was touching me, but it felt far away. I didn't stir as someone lifted me up, the ground spinning as I think I turned upside down
Like Alice in wonderland
I love that film, I liked the bunny in it
Shit what was his name...?
Well I guess... it didn't... really... matter
