Chapter 9

One night, everyone was getting ready for dinner. Olivia had told Callie that she had told Stef about Liam and Callie said she did too. Stef came over to them.

"I wanted to let you guys know that I talked to Bill and Sarah has been removed from the Olmsteads." She explained. "And I've got a friend at the DA's office that I'm going to talk to about Liam."

The twins nodded and they all sat down for dinner.

"Hey, Miss thing. You know the rule." Stef said. "No phones at dinner."

"But, Olivia has her phone." Mariana protested. "And, Brandon has his computer."

"I'm studying." Brandon said.

"And Olivia uses her phone to communicate." Lena added.

Mariana just sighed.

"Stef, don't forget, we have dinner with Gretchen tomorrow." Lena said. "We're going to leave money for food for you guys to order.

"The fabled ex is in town." Stef said.

Olivia couldn't keep herself from giggling at Stef's comment.

After dinner, Olivia went up to her room to work on homework.

A little bit later, there was a knock the door.

"Come in." Callie answered.

Stef walked in. "Hey girls. I just wanted to make sure you two were doing alright." She said.

"Yeah, we're doing okay." Callie replied.

Olivia looked at Callie. Neither of them had mentioned to Stef that Liam had been stalking them, but she wanted to. She tried pleading with her eyes.

"Alright. Well, good night." Stef started to leave.

"Wait." Callie stopped her.

"Yes?" Stef asked.

Callie sighed. "Liam's been stalking us." She confessed.

"What do you mean?" Stef asked.

"After we talked to Sarah, she must have told Liam about us." Callie explained. "He showed up at Wyatt's party and he must have followed us home because when I posted a picture of the tree in the backyard, he knew it was under our bedroom window. And he showed up at the school one afternoon."

"He also showed up at the pizza place I went to with my friends the other day and threatened me." Olivia added.

"He threatened me as well." Callie continued. "We're sorry for not telling you right away."

"It's alright." Stef said. "I'll see what I can do. Try to get a good night sleep."

The girls nodded and Stef left the room, closing the door behind her. Callie looked to Olivia.

"You okay?" She asked. Olivia nodded.

Callie went over to her sister and climbed into her bed.

"Everything is going to be alright." She assured her. "We're safe here."

Olivia nodded.

"Come on. Let's go to bed." Callie said.

The two girls headed to bed for the night.
